Went there for a drink with my gf. As soon as we walked in it smelled like absolute shit and we hoped for the best as we continued to the counter. We got our drinks and enjoyed what we could as we continued to smell whatever was festering in the woman's bathroom. This is located at the end of town. You can play beer pong. They have it set up . You can dance and they have other games as well. We only stayed for a drink and during that time had a nice time. We came at a off hour so the place was empty. They give away free condoms and have safe sex packages for you to take. Great idea. Interesting group that works the counter. This place is a dive but very friendly. Drinks are very typical. Nothing fancy. They have a few beers on tap. Not sure if they offer food. read more

We told him that there was weird men on the street driving a van and head poured us drinks then said he would not give them to us and poured them down the sink. What a great time! While it was an absolute short visit late night before closing, while I was passing through town, every single person here was respectable and welcoming! From recommendations at the bar to drink, to things to do around town, I had an absolute great time. They invited me back for other week night events like beer pong and music. Great recommendations on karaoke and wonderful conversation for the short time I was there. If you are ever in town, definitely stop by! There is plenty of places to park, and the location in close proximity to downtown will give you options for bar hopping, dining and some of the most amazing views of the river. DO NOT GO HERE. The security guards walk around cutting people off, kicking people out and calling girls names. 3 security guards in the orange shirts with very small man parts yelled at us and called us names for actually no reason. They said that they were protecting their bar and for "liability reasons" but i promise that going around telling girls that they are "bitches" is not the way to protect your self from a liability issue from arising. HORRIBLE service. They cut a girl off and charged us all for full size drinks that had absolutely zero alcohol in them. Very unprofessional. They should look into hiring some actual men who know how to handle their male rage and VERY sexist behavior. The guy at the front door with long blonde hair and piercings was actually very nice but every other person in this place was so rude and horrible. There was a severely overweight woman at the entrance that scanned my girlfriends legitimate ID but still wouldn't let her in due to her ethnicity it was really inappropriate, we will not be going back. This is probably C'das most diverse bar that has a strong lgbt following. Rita the owner and Sam one of the bartenders are great at making everyone feel welcome! This place used to get super crowded in 2004-2005 with lines streching out the doors during the summer just to get in. The economy has hurt all of Northern Idaho but this place has survived and still does some of the best drink specials around. Its a fun place to just get drunk and let loose. Came here after CDA pride cruise. Expected gay people....saw a bunch of bros and straight chicks. Approximately 6 bachelorette parties. Meh... Tried coming here after hearing a few friends rave about it. Was underwhelmed...and weirded out. Walking up, you'd think you were about to enter the sweetest underground punk scene. Instead, there's some tables and a bar. Further in there's a teeny dance floor with chairs facing it. They also face an area for a dj...and an awkwardly placed stripper pole on which drunk people sloppily show off their "skills". It was kinda lame that they had security circling like a couple of hawks. The prices were...prices. No sweet deals. The bartender was very nice, however. I returned once to give it another shot. Super fun place with friendly staff, security, and patrons! I'd read on their Facebook page they were doing Disney Karaoke that night so I was really excited! I commented we'd be there, and Shannon, the bartender, liked my comment! They had some really fun special drinks going on, and Shannon introduced me to what I would now consider an absolute fave!!! I've been coming here for 13 years, spent my 21st birthday here in fact, I've met the best friends I've ever had right here in this bar. I absolutely love this place and the memories it holds for me. I feel comfortable to be myself and very safe. This establishment has great jello shots but doesn't allow arm wrestling which makes it lose a star in my book. Like who doesn't enjoy a fun and rigorous arm-wrestling match? The stripper pole really gives off a welcoming vibe and the color theme throughout the establishment is very vibrant and mysterious at the same time. The beer pong table really feeds into that competitive drive that some people get while drunk and creates some issues at times. Overall, this establishment is decent but could add more stripper poles and IPAs. read more

I have to give one star to leave this review but I would put 0 if I could. I went to "Mik's" on the night of my bachelorette party and left in tears within minutes of being there. I've never left a bad review in my life but the way I was treated by the security staff at "Mik's" was unacceptable. I ordered one drink and was informed by 3 "security guards" that I was cut off. I honestly laughed because I thought they were kidding at first. I was not too drunk. I felt attacked only because I was a girl wearing a sash. The "men" on the Mik's security staff are insecure and let the small, tiny power of being a bouncer go to their head. After being "cut off" my friends were cussed at for trying to stand up for me. The way we were treated by the Mik's security staff was unreasonable and unacceptable. I hope that the security guard that kicked me out can come to terms with his small penis and stop by asking it out on their nice paying customers that are trying to enjoy major moments in their life. read more

Went early (10pm) on a Saturday in July. Divey space with a couple of pool tables, beer pong, couches, tables, and wall seating. The bartenders and security were polite, and the drinks were decent prices and good quality (doubles for single price from 8 to 10). There were three bachelorette parties and one 21 yo crawl happening, so a positive vibe. The dance floor is good for forty people. Sadly, the music was mediocre. I love to dance, but the DJ would play one good song for three bad ones. Mismatched tempo and music genre. If they got a good DJ it would be really fun. read more

I really wanted there to be a cool gay bar in this town, since I am living here temporarily. I was horrified when I first visited this place! I, along with my two companions, only stuck around long enough to suck down our room-temp beers and sprint for the door. The door man wasn't shocked that we were leaving, but wanted us to know it would soon close and re-open under "new" (actually former) ownership. I hoped for a complete turnaround. I gave it more than one try after the "re-opening". Sadly, it remains the same as before. Ugly, smelly and not fun.
