I wanted to wait…read moreuntil I had some pictures to post before I wrote this review, and it took us a little while to get our photos (good work takes time!). It's also a super long review, but for Suzanna it's worth it. My wife is actually the one who recommended me to Suzanna. I was stressing out about where to take my tuxedo. I've worked with several tailors around the area and while all of them were pretty decent, none of them wowed me. It didn't help that I had some unusual requests that I knew would get some judgment and pushback from most tailors (I wanted tux sleeves and pant hem at about 4/5 length, VERY short). That's when my wife recommended Suzanna. My wife actually brought THREE of her dresses to Suzanna. My wife also had some unusual requests and she said Suzanna was super nice and easy to work with, and was willing to do the odd requests after a small amount of explaining. Encouraged by my wife's experience, I gave Suzanna a visit. She was sooo incredibly nice and friendly. She was an absolute darling. I explained to her my untraditional requests, and she gave me an unsure (but still friendly) look. She made a joke that she's gonna have to make me sign a waiver promising that I won't write a poor review if she does what I'm asking, LOL. I promised her I knew what I was asking for, and that I would not blame her for the outcome if it looked bad. She agreed to take on the job. The whole exchange was very funny and friendly. She also has great memory, I told her my then-fiancée had come in 2-3 weeks prior to drop off her dress and she still remembered exactly who I was talking about! She made sure to give me a pickup date for my tuxedo on a different day than my fiancée's so that I don't accidentally see her dress. When she told me the price for those several major alterations on a total of 3 pieces of clothing (tux top, tux pants, tux shirt), I guffawed. Suzanna asked me if it was too much. But no, it was the exact opposite. I couldn't believe how reasonable it was. It was more than fair. My then-fiancée and I went to pick up my entire wedding outfit, just 2 weeks later. When I put on the whole tux, I couldn't believe how nice everything felt. It felt so premium and so comfortable. It was literally made for me. It fit exactly how I wanted, it was perfect in every single way. Not only did it make me LOOK good, it made me FEEL comfortable, it made me FEEL good and confident, everything a well-tailored outfit should be. It was clear she is extremely talented and has an eye for her craft. So much care and effort and precision went into each article of clothing, into each stitch. And it's not just my tuxedo either, every single one of my wife's wedding dresses came out perfectly and flawlessly. She loved how each one felt and flowed. Suzanna literally did both of our entire wedding outfits. You can tell from the pictures I've posted that Suzanna did an incredible job and the outfits not only looked good in person but also came out beautifully in photographs. We'd like to thank Suzanna sincerely from the bottom of our hearts for making us look so good and feel so good for our wedding. Thanks for all the kindness and caring. Thanks for being understanding of our weird and unorthodox requests and executing our vision. Suzanna played such a big part of our wedding and her beautiful work will forever be immortalized on the photos we hang on our walls and pass down to our children. I saw they have 5 stars but Most importantly when I called and I told him the time crunch, he said just bring it in and it was ready maybe past 3 o'clock so I went in the lady was so patient and kind she already had two people ahead of me that were in the middle of trying things on, so I waited a bit and when it was my turn, she was so patient and kind took her time with me. I was just ready to be rushed or something because it was so last minute, but she took her time and the amount of work I needed basically a suit jacket to be taken in two sizes. I really didn't think it was going to be possible in the short amount of time but she did it. She said they don't even charge rush on it. The next day it was ready. I can't thank them enough for saving me. God bless their hands and I will be bringing so much more for them to work on and will be telling everyone to go here thank you guys so much.

I was referred to Christine's Tailoring…read moreAlterations by a friend and trusted Christine with an important gown I was wearing to the Emmy Awards. I paid $400, and the result was honestly unbelievable. Christine never measured me. Not once. Everything was guesstimated. The corset was originally too small and the skirt was enormous, so Christine took excess fabric from the skirt to expand the back of the corset. Somehow, after alterations, a dress that started out too small came back MASSIVE and literally falling off my body. Christine pinned it smaller and had me return the day before the Emmys. I tried it on again and it was STILL too big, even with the corset tightened completely. I specifically asked Christine to replace a zipper I didn't trust. She assured me it was fine. It wasn't. It slid down all night, and my husband eventually had to knot the corset string around it just to keep my dress closed. I also repeatedly asked for a hook and eye. It still hadn't been added at my second fitting, and when Christine finally added one, it snapped in half at the Emmys. The hardware felt incredibly cheap. The dress was also still too long despite my asking for it to be shortened. So after paying $400 for "professional alterations," I spent the Emmy Awards pulling my dress up because it was too large, picking it up off the floor because it was too long, and having my husband rig the zipper because it wouldn't stay up. I should have been enjoying and celebrating one of the biggest nights of my career. Instead, I spent the entire night stressed, uncomfortable, embarrassed, and worrying about whether my dress was going to stay on my body. Never again.

Except when I went in on friday, my jeans weren't even ready! I had to wait 15 minutes for her to find them in her piles of unfinished clothes and for her to hem them! The hems look nice, the thread matches perfectly to the jean material, so initially I was pleased with her work. However, when i got home and tried them on, they hems were uneven! She also cut all the extra fabric off so i can't even get them fixed anywhere else! I should've just taken them to a reliable tailor! This place is awful!!!
