What went well was that the providers are very skilled at their job. They are also very patient and kind. The way they administer the local anesthesia was great. Barely any pain. The only complaint that I have is that their communication is lacking. I recently had an issue with contraindications for the oral sedation and it would have been great to know from the beginning that this was what the issue was. I was initially informed that my insurance didn't want to pay for it. After that was resolved I did the procedure with no sedation but they couldn't finish. I was told to return the following Tuesday to finish only to find out that they only wanted to do half of the remaining work and that I would have to come back a third time to actually finish. I told them that wouldn't work and now I'm waiting for a cancellation because they are booked into next year. Just be clear please. read more

Dr. Kasha seems to be a terrific dentist. However, her receptionist is absolutely awful. I went in today for a crown. When I arrived the receptionist, Fatima, didn't ask for my insurance card. I offered it to her and she said, "We don't take that insurance." I knew this was false, so I called the insurance number and they verified that they were in network with my dentist and gave me the number for the dentist's office to call for verification. The receptionist refused to call it, saying that they had a company which made those calls for them and that company hadn't called her back. I called the number myself and put the person there on speaker phone; she confirmed that the insurance was good and in network. Fatima still refused to acknowledge that my insurance was good. Then she told me that we had to reschedule the crown because I'd passed the "grace period." I'm not sure if I should leave this practice. I think I'm going to give them one more shot, but that careless, incompetent receptionist should be fired. She didn't even apologize for her error. read more

I had to wait in the chair after my cleaning for over and hour to see the dentist--there was an emergenccy surgery-fine, but no one came to let me know what was happening-- finally saw dentist -- need fillings --and lady at front desk was kind of rude did not schedule me for the fillings or give me an estimate of how much it would cost me usually there is someone who walks you back to front desk and arranges your next visit for the fillings oh yeah they typed in the wrong code and said you owe $350 dollars for today-- I said no I have UHC and they pay for exams, the manager came in and said "are you calm now?" The office is great IF you can get in.. every appt gets rescheduled and using the online portal schedules an appt, but if you go in for your scheduled appt, they'll say you're not scheduled. It's been two years and I still can't seem to get an appt and I'm an established patient. Years between appts shouldn't be for established patients... unreal. The drs are great but scheduling absolutely sucks. Kicker- I get texts and emails non-stop to give them a great review so they can be "Santa Fe's best".... On vacation in Santa Fe from Florida went to office to see if they could help me when a veneer on my front tooth popped off. The receptionist was not helpful at all. I was told I could make an appointment. When I there anything available today? She said no my first available is in three I ask is there anybody else might can help me or do you know another who might be able to see me today or tomorrow, she looked at me like I had two heads. Worst dental facility I've been to. They seem to avoid veteran affairs dental insurance. They never answer their phones and they never call back after leaving voicemails for months, MONTHS! The only appointment they managed to give me they were 45 minutes late! I have little choice since it's through the VA, this is horrible service and they never called back to let me know my referral was taken away so I had to call them again and once again they never called back to let me know anything. I had to drive an hour to them to talk face to face since they never reply to the voicemails and somehow never answer the phone. Per the reply of the business owner below, even now you seem to be dismissing everything I said that is wrong after months. I was never rude and was respectful. I never yelled or cursed or did any name calling or anything like that...I was supposed to receive my dental records today as yall stated and I still haven't received anything. The staff, techs and Dr. Riesenberger were both courteous and extremely talented at their respective functions. They have the latest in technology including on-site, while you wait custom crown manufacturing. The device used to inject the numbing agent has come so far since the days of the big manual syringe that they always tried to keep out of your line of site. You know, the type from the Dr. Frankenstein movie. I didn't even feel a pinch nor any other pain or discomfort through the new crown and two fillings. Just go here. Don't look elsewhere. First, let me state that this review has nothing to do with the dental services provided by Dr. Riesenberger. For as much as he worked on me he seems talented and experienced. This has to do with his support staff. Today I was notified BY TEXT that my hygienist was sick and they would have to reschedule my cleaning appointment. Fair enough. But this was the THIRD TIME in two years that this has happened to me. When I called to reschedule, the receptionist (I'll refrain from using her name) at the front desk told me they didn't have any appointments until July. This was the same party line as the previous two times where I bit my tongue and rescheduled four months down the line. But I suppose the third time is a charm. I questioned why if the cancellation was their fault they couldn't squeeze me in earlier. Again, the receptionist sounded like a parrot. "We don't have anything available until July." Again, I tried to convince her that this was on Milagro Dental. I made the appointment a year ago. I confirmed by text. I was ready to go. But THEY cancelled. Shouldn't they accommodate me? Still, the receptionist was holding firm. "We don't have anything available until July." Exasperated, I thanked her for her time and hung up. It's disconcerting that the corporate mentality of treating the client that a piece of dirt has invaded small town Sante Fe. But I suppose that won't impact this receptionist until AI takes over her position and she's out of a job. Time to find a new dentist. read more

OMG. This was the BEST dental experience I've ever had! I broke a crown on Sunday and Milagro was able to give me an emergency appointment first thing Tuesday morning -- as a new patient. The moment I walked in, I could tell the office was a bright and happy place with people who love what they do. Dr. Kasha Uyda was FANTASTIC! In addition to her warm personality and empathetic concern for my comfort, she managed to do the work she needed without causing me the typical discomfort I've come to expect from other dental experiences. DO NOT SCHEDULE PATIENTS IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO PROVIDE SERVICE AND CARE I have had five medical appointments since COVID none have been handled as poorly as this office. They have the same amount of time to prepare as other offices but re-opened without thought for their patient. My problem is not with your COVID rules. Of course safety is important. But so is consideration Unlike other medical offices there was no information provided prior to the appointment. The sign on the door to call is not helpful if you are visually impaired or don't have your phone on you. It There were 3 people, all in their 70s and with bad knees.waiting outside in the heat. Prior to this year I called Dr. Parker's office and asked what dental insurance they accept. They said Delta Dental, so I got a Delta Dental policy that covers 80%. Then when I went to Dr. Parker's office for treatment I was informed that they don't take Delta Dental PPO so my insurance would only cover 50%. Why didn't they tell me that when I inquired the first time? Because of their front office misinformation I pay 30% more that expected. On the other hand, the dental care is very good. read more

Came in for deep cleaning, seems like Dr. Parker is retiring and they had Dr. Kasha take care of me. It was a really good and relaxing experience, she was really nice and pleasant. The office was neat, the whole procedure was absolutely painless and I felt comfortable. The cleaning was reasonably priced, prior to getting there I called around to ask for quotes and this dentistry's quote was more than fair, during the cleaning they noticed additional cavity that wasn't showing on the x-ray, they showed me the cavity, explained to me the associated cost and possible consequences if I won't take care of it, it made sense and didn't cost an arm and a leg so I had them do the filling. On the way out I got a bag of goodies. I will definitely come again. read more

After I wrote an unfavorable review of this practice the doctor replied, saying that she had been unable to meet me for the emergency repair and that they "had tried to contact me multiple times." That is actually not true. They called once, and to the wrong number. Besides the incredibly rude behavior exhibited by the front desk staff--I was told I had a bad attitude, but i also had a wire stuck into my tongue and it was incredibly painful--there was no attempt to offer a solution. No effort was made to either get me to another dentist (they show on their website that there is another dentist in the office) and absolutely no effort was made to help with an urgent issue. They were content letting me sit in my car with a wire stuck into my tongue. I also asked if they would call and let me know when the dentist was available--that was 4 days ago, and so far no one has called. This place refused to honor a defective product they sold me. I just became a new client less than two months ago. The Dental Hygienist occupied more of the 'role' of sales person than hygienist. I have never thought of purchasing a Water Pic previously, but she kept harping on its exemplary benefits. I relented and bought it. I used it maybe 20-25 times before it broke. When I called to ask for a refund or exchange, I was told that they had "no record" of selling me one. How convenient is that? Especially after I paid my bill with a credit card and can 'prove' they sold me one. Just as a point of juxtaposition: when was the last time you bought something at Wall Mart they refused either refund or exchange? And speaking of Wall Mart, they carry the same product for 50.00 dollars vs the 75.00 dollars I paid at Milagro. Their refusal to honor what they sell is a character issue; but this is especially true when the unit they sold me was still relatively new. You might want to ask yourself if you really want to spend Big Money on Dental Care from someone who does not honor a relatively minor product? Think about it! read more

Dr. Parkers and his team discuss the procedures and make sure you are comfortable and knowledgeable of what is going to be done. I have never been or felt any discomfort from any of my procedures.
