Live nearby and went to this place because of the stellar Yelp reviews and the coupon of free eye exam and 2nd pair free with purchase of 1st pair of glasses. I was able to call and make an appointment same day which was helpful (I hate waiting around at walk-in places) and it was basically empty when we got there. We were seen with minimal wait time and the optometrist was helpful and friendly. Afterwards, Celeste was so kind and helpful with helping us pick out frames and providing feedback and helpful information about the frames. I did not realize the "2nd pair free" was capped at $200 off so that was a bit of a surprise when it came time to pay. That's the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. However, because we spent so much, they threw in a third pair completely free (including lenses) and put anti-reflexive coating free on all three pairs, PLUS a bottle of wine! My cazals were in storage for two years and due to packing complications,they were grossly misshaped. Ugghhhh!!! Thankfully these wonderful employees saved them without any damage to the $500 frames. I hope there is 0 star for the review for this company! I called the company three times. The first time, I called and asked for the price quote for my eye exam, it is 60 dollars. The second time, when I tried to make an appointment with them, the guy who picked up the call, give me a price which is over 100 dollars for the exam with my insurance! Unbelievable! The third time, I tired to make an appointment with them again only because there are so many good reviews here. I thought the second time is just because of that guy who picked up the phone. But the store's service should be good because of the good reviews here. But I think the same guy pick up my phone again unfortunately! I told him two person gave me difference price quote, I want to make sure the price so I can make an appointment with them. He said : you should call your insurance company to ask for the price quote!!!! He does not have any patience with me. when I tried to ask for help, he asked me to call my insurance company to make sure the price with their store. I never be treated like this. It is rude. If you do not have patience with your customer, why you pick up the phone. Have anyone here paid over 100 bucks for their eye exam with your own insurance????? The staff here is awesome. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. They had a really nice assortment of frames to choose from. If you have a budget, just let them know up front and they will help you stay in it! They will also be really honest about what frames look good on you. I'm glad I went with their recommendation (frames were same price as the ones I picked out so it wasn't an upsell or anything) - I've gotten lots of compliments on my new glasses!
