The service was great from the girl at the front to the man who brought the food. I got it for take out. It was in plastic Tupperware . The ambiance is nice in the summer they have an outside.

First we ordered the bread basket because we were starving. That was a little disappointing because the first piece of bread was dry. Also, it bums me out to pay for pre-dinner bread. Even the local pizzeria serves a very delicious offering of bread before dinner but I guess because ITA is elevated Italian, perhaps it's a little too casual for an upscale restaurant. So, the bad news is they forgot to hold the stratiacella cheese. Then when my pasta came out, it was cooked past al dente. I was disappointed but so hungry. So I ate it. Then as I was putting the leftovers in the bag, to take home, I decided to say something to the waitress. Having to reheat it would cook the already overcooked, would turn it in to mush. And that was a $28 pasta dish, not including the crown. So I decided to mention it to the waitress because I'm sure they would rather me tell them, than give a bad review. They immediately apologized and offered to make a brand new dish to take home. On top of that, they also comp'd to desserts!! The Rainbow Cookie Crumb Cake, which was divine, and the Pistashio Cheesecake, also outstanding. So they get an extra star for treating the customer right!! I would recommend and come back again. I would order the Spicy Rigatoni again and skip the bread basket. Also, it's very cute inside. Insta worthy.

If you think you've had great gelato, Caffe Italia will make you question everything you thought…read moreyou knew. The man behind the magic is Mike, the owner -- and he is the real deal. Born in Italy and trained by the best, making gelato isn't his job, it's his calling. You can taste that distinction in every single bite. Mike is constantly developing new recipes, hand-picking fresh fruit at the market, and importing specialty ingredients straight from Italy when he can't find what meets his standards locally. This is a man who simply refuses to cut corners. My family and I have been loyal customers for nearly 8 years, and what's remarkable is that it's just as mind-blowing today as it was the very first time we walked through the door. That kind of consistency is rare -- and it speaks volumes. Over the years, we've brought roughly 40 friends and family members here for the first time. Every single one of them has raved about it. That's not a coincidence. That's excellence. If you're visiting for the first time, do yourself a favor: try the rainbow cookie gelato. You can thank me later. And while many people get it to go, I suggest having it there. The shop is tastefully decorated, it's clean, it's comfortable. For fifteen minutes you'll think you're in Italy. Caffe Italia isn't just the best gelato in the county -- it may very well be the best you'll ever have. Don't walk. Run.

Do not come here looking for a massive, gluttonous burger, but do come for a quality, carefully built and tasty one. Your 8oz burger may seem smallish when it first arrives, but thats because it comes on a bun that is the right size - not a bunch of extra bread. My girlfriend really liked the turkey burger option and the waffle sweet potato fries - but she was not a fan of the marshmallow dipping sauce and stuck to bbq. I had a standard burger with some bacon and onion straws. She was a little surprised that lettuce and tomato were not standard and automatic (this was said after the burgers arrived - I assume that they are on the menu for customization if you want them), but enjoyed her burger nonetheless. $25 is a bit high for a burger, so this will not be a weekly stop, but once in a while on the way through Babylon for a simple, tasty meal, absolutely. Service is attentive and friendly. Atmosphere is noisy, but I would not call it overly loud - music was not blaring and conversation could be maintained at normal levels. This was on Sunday - early evening - I will make no assumptions about a busy Friday or Saturday night - I can imagine it gets quite lively.

I ordered a custom kobe beef with caramelized onions, pepper jack cheese, and cabernet sauce. This cooked medium with a side sweet potato fries with marshmallow sauce all added to a perfectly juicy burger where i didn't need to add any hot sauce or ketchup. Great for after beach day and our go to spot now!

But they don't have indoor seating and I just got a new car 2 days ago. No way was I letting 3 teens in my car with ice cream. His friend recommended Coyle's off Sunrise Highway. I can't believe we've never stopped here before! It was all decorated for Christmas and had friendly old ice cream shop / diner vibes with plenty of booths and counter seats. It was empty because it was 5 pm on one of the coldest days of the year. They have a wide selection of homemade ice cream flavors, plus soft serve, waffle cones, waffle bowls, their own sundae creations, and ice cream cakes and other treats to take home. I got a cannoli and Irish cream cup, my son got pistachio, and his friend got mint chip and Nutella. My daughter got a hot chocolate that she also enjoyed. I'd say it's easily comparable to OFICS, but the seating and atmosphere takes it to the next level. We will definitely be back -- ideally when the weather warms up!

I tried a few and ultimately went with the cookies and crème with crunchies! My daughter went basic as well with chocolate and sprinkles. They do allow you to taste flavors so if you are feeling adventurous , I saw go for it! You likely will not be disappointed. I typically go to carvel for ice cream cakes, but this might by new go to! Oo and they have two different types of ice creams. Hard ice cream and soft ice cream. I asked what the difference is and they said soft ice cream is soft serve the artificial stuff that you get from the ice cream truck. The hard Ice cream is the ice cream made in house . Aka the good stuff. You're gonna wanna go for the hard ice cream!
