Today is my boyfriend's birthday, so we decided to have what we coined our "Breakfast Adventure"!…read moreWe ended up at Toast because we saw they had a dog-friendly patio. Unfortunately, due to the heavy rain the day before, the patio wasn't set up. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. They went out of their way to set up a table and chairs for us so we could enjoy breakfast and celebrate together with our dog. Our waitress, Jordan, was patient and friendly, which made the experience even better. Since it was our first visit, they treated us to a free stack, and the seasonal option was the Peach Cobbler Pancakes. We also ordered the Benedict Arnold, Biscuits and Gravy, Early Riser with two eggs our way, a Banana Nut Latte, and an Espresso Martini. Everything was fresh and tasty, and the Espresso Martini definitely packed a punch! At the end of our meal, they brought out a tiny Sprinkle Stack with a candle and sang Happy Birthday to my boyfriend. It was such a sweet surprise and honestly made the outing feel extra special. I'm definitely recommending this location. The food was delicious, but the kindness and customer service really stood out. They helped turn a rainy-day breakfast into a memorable birthday adventure!

Needless to say even though the footprint was basically the same the interior has been changed is very open and inviting. A friend and I were there for lunch around 1:30 on a Monday. No issue getting a table and were seated immediately. Katie our server was very nice, pleasant and efficient. Drink were brought out quickly and our order taken. My friend got an omelet special with Irish bangers and cheese with home fries and rye toast. She enjoyed the omelet and I have to say the rye bread was outstanding. Don't think it's made in house but were ever they get it from is really good. I got a lunch special of Pot Roast sandwich with onions, mushrooms and cheese on thick cut bread. It was served with a au jus dipping sauce. If it's on the menu don't hesitate to get it, it was outstanding and so stuffed I could only eat half. Will absolutely be returning to Toast !

First we ordered the bread basket because we were starving. That was a little disappointing because the first piece of bread was dry. Also, it bums me out to pay for pre-dinner bread. Even the local pizzeria serves a very delicious offering of bread before dinner but I guess because ITA is elevated Italian, perhaps it's a little too casual for an upscale restaurant. So, the bad news is they forgot to hold the stratiacella cheese. Then when my pasta came out, it was cooked past al dente. I was disappointed but so hungry. So I ate it. Then as I was putting the leftovers in the bag, to take home, I decided to say something to the waitress. Having to reheat it would cook the already overcooked, would turn it in to mush. And that was a $28 pasta dish, not including the crown. So I decided to mention it to the waitress because I'm sure they would rather me tell them, than give a bad review. They immediately apologized and offered to make a brand new dish to take home. On top of that, they also comp'd to desserts!! The Rainbow Cookie Crumb Cake, which was divine, and the Pistashio Cheesecake, also outstanding. So they get an extra star for treating the customer right!! I would recommend and come back again. I would order the Spicy Rigatoni again and skip the bread basket. Also, it's very cute inside. Insta worthy.

Ordered a kids meal for my little guys right away and it turned out to be a nice chicken finger platter with fries that the boys loved. The burgers we ordered were on real nice buns and cooked exactly how we ordered. Such a clean spot, with friendly staff, a big menu, right in the heart of Bab. Very happy with BBB and this lunch experience!

Do not come here looking for a massive, gluttonous burger, but do come for a quality, carefully built and tasty one. Your 8oz burger may seem smallish when it first arrives, but thats because it comes on a bun that is the right size - not a bunch of extra bread. My girlfriend really liked the turkey burger option and the waffle sweet potato fries - but she was not a fan of the marshmallow dipping sauce and stuck to bbq. I had a standard burger with some bacon and onion straws. She was a little surprised that lettuce and tomato were not standard and automatic (this was said after the burgers arrived - I assume that they are on the menu for customization if you want them), but enjoyed her burger nonetheless. $25 is a bit high for a burger, so this will not be a weekly stop, but once in a while on the way through Babylon for a simple, tasty meal, absolutely. Service is attentive and friendly. Atmosphere is noisy, but I would not call it overly loud - music was not blaring and conversation could be maintained at normal levels. This was on Sunday - early evening - I will make no assumptions about a busy Friday or Saturday night - I can imagine it gets quite lively.

Although this review is late, I still remember the exact experiences because I was blown away from this lunch after I had high expectati one and disappointment from their brunch! Mother's Day Brunch 2/5: My grandparents used to take my mom to Sunday brunch when she was younger many many years ago! My parents have went there for brunch multiple times and it was fantastic on a Sunday! My only experience with the brunch was the Mother's Day one and it was severely disappointing after every single person's rave reviews! There was a couple of trays and it was confusing because it was supposed to be kind of between a breakfast and lunch theme, but it was early iand the selections were very very limited and mostly food you wouldn't want to eat at 11 o'clock in the morning like eggplant roll a teeny or heavy dishes like that! Food 5/5: I ordered the Caesar salad and filet with mashed potatoes. The salad was super fresh and they definitely loaded it with extra cheese and croutons and did not charge me! Steak came out well seasoned with a very nice charge on it, perfect maillard! The mashed potatoes were delicious! My husband got the French onion soup, blue point oysters and the salmon dish. The oysters were fresh, and the salmon was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I don't eat French onion soup, and the presentation and the amount of cheese in the soup was something worthy of a magazine photo shoot. Hands-down, it was the best French onion soup he ever had and he orders that a lot and still dreams about itheird until this day! Service 5/5: I have zero complaints about their service because I've only had exceptional wait staff there... once again during the brunch things got a little chaotic, but the staff was able to pull it together; find us a table and overall make the situation go by seamlessly. Ambiance 3/5: if you were seated near a window by the water, you get a beautiful waterfront views. The interior is a little outdated and because they throw a lot of weddings and catered bench. There was kind of disappointed to see that for the prices ambience wasn't as upscale because the prices are! I will give this place another chance for the brunch because it was a holiday and I know Food can suffer because of that (even though it shouldn't ) and definitely for the lunch because like I said one of the best of my life! It would've been a 5 based on lunch, but like I said, I had way higher expectations for their "known" brunches I will go with a 3 out of f5 not letting ambience affect my decision because it's a place on the water and it's sometimes nice to have that kind of low-key vibe but like I said, they definitely charge fine dining prices! -1 ambiance -1 Mother's Day brunch quality I will update my review when I check out the branch and go for another amazing lunch or dinner! I feel like a lot of times when restaurants try to do crowd then use they fall short and makes their overall name suffer and I feel like that's what's happened in this case!
