Took my son here for an opinion on a tux rented online. He was officiating a wedding in 3 days and the suit was so amature looking. After walking into the shop, we were promptly greeted and made to feel welcome. After a few temporary tweeks to the jacket, the tux looked 100% better. There was a $100 charge for temporary alterations and pressing, but if you have a position of honor at a gathering the right fitting suit is worth a million bucks. After talking to a few men(its family owned/operated) we learned that they do fast alterations and everyone is super stylish. Added bonus: they're making and donating face masks to slow the spread of Covid-19. read more

My spouse invited me to a work party, last minute found out that it was cocktail attire instead of business casual so I was in need of a sharp suit over my collection of casual attire. I did a Google search of the Canton/Plymouth/Westland area and decided to give my business to Milano based on reviews On December 13th I visited Milano and Chad was there to greet me as I told him my situation and what I was looking for, my spouse in tow. I was given ever option and told that any suit I selected would be tailored to my size in house and even done a day before I needed it, which was the 17th. In a day and age where customer service is difficult to find, Milano went above and beyond to help me, make me feel comfortable and work with me. Alteration review- Excellent service. Quick with getting measurements, even quicker with having the finished product. I came in to get pants fitted and to fix a couple pant legs that were poorly hemmed at the local suit warehouses. And the stitching- definitely top notch. I went home and compared to other alterations I had done and I appreciate the attention to detail. They wanted to turn my alteration requests around in 1 day. I thanked them for their eagerness and told them the following week would be ok. Fair price, taking in a couple pairs of pants and some hemming corrected on a few other pairs of pants didn't run me more than I think 30/40 dollars. Came in here last year for a tux rental and the guys in here were very friendly and attentive with that as well. read more

My husband was extremely desperate, he rented a suit for our daughter's wedding from an online business who rented space in a store. He was measured in the store but everything else was done online and it did not fit at all!! It came 10 days before her wedding and the shirt looked like a nightgown on him, the jacket was too big and it just looked plain cheap! Being 10 days before her wedding which was Sept 18th, they wanted to send another size but couldn't take the chance of going back and forth so I called trying to find a suit to rent. I am so happy I called Milano's!!!! They said not too worry, he had plenty of time and he went there the next day to be measured. He picked it up 2 days before her wedding, he tried it and it fit like it was custom made for him!! The service he received was fantastic, I would give Milano's 100 stars if I could!!! This place is awesome. Yes. I'm a woman and they have tailored a few items for me. I became a customer years ago when my only child was preparing for the PROM! I will say they handled it from beginning to END.. that was some years back, but I've returned for tailoring services. My fiance and I were looking for a suit for our afternoon wedding, and we finally found not only the suit but also a great experience at Milano. We tried Macy's first, but I was disappointed with the lack of knowledge in the staff and the general disarray of their stock. At Milano we received personal service and the knowledge we were looking for. The store is well organized with a nice selection. Roger was charming, knowledgeable, and thorough. I knew we were in the right place when he took measurements before pulling stock. He made the entire experience fun with his enthusiasm. The suits were lovely, soft high twist wool hand stitched to drape perfectly. Why does anyone buy those horrid poly blend suits at the mall? It can't be the price because with a great looking Italian suit and two ties we were out the door close to 400. Looking forward to going back sometime for some more ties! read more

I went to Milano to get my wedding suit tailored. Chad, Mona, and Hank were all very helpful and personable. They hemmed my pants so that the break was proper, raised the jacket collar, and tightened up the sleeves on my jacket. It fits perfectly and I am looking forward to wearing it at the wedding. Great selection of ties. I have a slight tie buying problem now that I have bought ties from Milano. I have become a tie snob, much to the disappointment of father's day gifts. I have also bought 2 suits from Chad (owner), the suits don't look like your run of the mill off the rack popular men's store suits, and for about the same price! read more
