It's nice to have a nice spot to have services done in the neighborhood, and I don't know if this was just a "me thing" or if everyone who comes here has experienced this. I walked in and was greeted immediately, I checked in on the tablet and was asked about the service I was wanting. Now I wasn't handed a menu and there wasn't a board with services and prices so I told the guy, I wanted a pedicure. He went on to say there's a $35, $45, and the price kept going up but what I wasn't being told is what all comes with the service. I finally picked the $45 and was lead to the polishes to pick a color. Once my color was picked I was directed to take a seat. The guy who came to provide my service put a weighted pillow around my neck and started the service. However I realized quickly he didn't speak very much English as I kept telling him "I'm diabetic" as I needed him to know the importance of not cutting me or using any sharp instruments on my feet (yes I'm talking about that cheese grater folks like to use). A lady came by and offered me a drink. One again, no menu so I had to ask what was available. When my pedicure was done I was told to sit and let dry however as I looked at my toes, I saw things that didn't sit well with me. The polish looked lumpy, the paint job was messy, and I had place where you can see where skin had been clipped. So I called someone over cause my guy was gone and I asked about this. She brought someone else over who took the polish off and redid the painting however they also left before the top coat was applied so I had I'm assuming one of the managers finish the job. I went during their "Mother's Day special" but I guess that didn't get applied but once again lesson learned. It's a nice clean spot however I can't say I felt that I got what I paid for. I hate that this was my experience as I was hoping for something closer to home so I didn't have to drive across town for a decent pedicure. However for me, this wasn't it. read more

The spa was able to accommodate my last minute arrival, as I'd just cracked a nail before a big work meeting and my current nail salon was closed. They gave me the full experience even though there was only a half hour before closing and they made sure to make sure I was satisfied and happy. I made sure to thank them dearly for the service which lasted longer than I'd thought. They are great enough that I'm going to go to them from now on. read more

I unfortunately had a bad accident, which resulted with my acrylic nail & nail bed split across. i came in to see if it was possible to remove it. Paul who helped me take off the acrylic nail, as gentle as possible. Literally talked to me through the pain to get it off. I went to try it since it's close to home, horrible first experience they didn't tell me that the girl doing my pedicure had ruined my shoes they sneaked off try to clean them and when they realized that it wasn't going to come off they tell me ONLY because they GOT caught ! The place is clean and well-maintained, but the quality doesn't quite match up. I've been getting gel x nails for about 2 years now so I am very familiar with the quality it provides and how long lasting they are. However, with my regular nail tech being booked I decided to stop by Milano a Friday morning. At first I left very satisfied with the service although it was a bit $$$ I believed it was well worth it however, I was WRONG... by Sunday morning 3 of my nails had popped off. I stopped by Milano that Sunday morning to get it fixed. The staff was kind and helpful, so I'm giving 2 stars. They fixed all 3 nails for free, and I was happy until another one popped off Monday morning. I'm disappointed and don't have time to keep coming back. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND not coming here for gel x nails. I wished I woulda read the reviews as I see I am not the 1st to have experienced this. read more

While my nails initially looked fine, I paid over $100--only for every single nail to start lifting and falling off the same day. When I returned to request a refund or resolution, the manager, Zoey, was unhelpful, dismissive, and hesitant to provide the general manager's contact information. She even lied about the products used and questioned the technician's qualifications, which is incredibly unprofessional. When I finally spoke to the general manager, he was patronizing, condescending, and completely unwilling to take accountability. I strongly advise against coming here for GEL-X services. So my name is Osvaldo Gomez. I am Tia Blooms step brother. I have no problem in calling out businesses that are not good. I'm my step sister came to cypress and she showed me her nails. They look good and I am glad she was done a good job. I was told that she was charged 145 for her nails and her hands. I am in absolute shock in the price this shop did her nails. She was charged 65 dollars for her feet. And 80 dollars for her nails. I was told that she had received the very basic package and didn't get any of the extra stuff that comes with paying more money. No wax for her feet no massage for her legs. Just the basic cleaning and general maintenance of the nails. Another thing is that not once the people in the nail place talked to her about the prices. They over charged my step sister and they lost a valuable asset to their business. Shame on the mess. You guys should never rob people looking for your guidance. This place is AMAZING, it was my first time experiencing a pedicure and manicure/ getting my nails done. I have a deep fear of people touching and looking at my feet to begin with, and I informed the front desk ladies about that, and they were so kind and gracious about it, I have no words for how kind and gentle everyone was. I did the pedicure as a way to fight my fear, and the employees were so kind and patient with me, the man who did my nails, also was very helpful and so talented, they both explained every step to me and they were both checking in with me the whole time and cracking jokes lol. Their price points are on the pricier side, and that's representative of the space, amenities, level of service and materials. The space is very impressive, and immaculately designed. I like the sectioned rooms and can imagine how fun it would be to host a group in a room. With all the staff in one room though, the equipment carts and people may feel a bit cramped. I have visited this place twice. The first time, i got dipped nails and a pedi, my nail tech completely left my nails unfinished and lumpy after dipping them. I decided to give them a another try, just a different tech. The second time i went, i picked out a certain color and got something totally different than the color i picked... i didn't even have my nails for 3 days before they starting lifting and coming off.... When I walked in it was heaven. I have not been in a nail salon so fancy in this area. It was super clean. Professional welcoming. They have a variety of colors. I arrived and was welcomed and asked to pick color I wanted for my pedicure. I was then taken by host and sat down on new lovely comforting chair. They had more than 40 chairs and technicians ready to serve. Evelyn was very attentive. I was shown a menu of drinks. From water to cocktail drinks. I felt so pampered.
