Horrible service!!! I made an apt for me and daughters to get a pedicure. When we showed up to salon we told to check in and they knew we had an apt. We showed up 5 min early, and then we waited for over 45 min! No one checked on us, no one came up to us asking us to come back later, or offered a discount for being far behind. Milano nails was very impressive, nails in tucson has been a hit or miss for quality and price. Milano nails provide spa services at decent prices, they have a wonderful polish selection all new polishes, organized by color family. They have the main brands, china glaze and opi, 3 types of gel. They take their time with the services, provide complementary water bottle when you walk in. They explain the service and tell you prices before they do anything, they are not pushy like some salons are. The salon is very clean, and the environment is very soothing. I definitely would recommend them. Lu did my nails :) Update : went in today saw Erica and she is amazing she knows what she's talking about and gives advice to help your nails. Between the Tucson/Marana area nail salons I rotate through, I really have no complaints. I'm a pedicure gal that tends to fit one in only if I'm conveniently near a salon and have some free time. After my recent (2nd visit) to Milano, I've decided that this is one of my favorite nail salons. Each time I called (within the area), they were able to fit me in for a pedicure right away. Upon walking in, the staff is friendly/welcoming and provides a free water bottle. The interior is not stuffy and has a pleasant, clean atmosphere. They have the best nail polish brands in stock including my favorite China Glaze neon colors. So far, each pedicure has been provided by a patient, nice and good advice-giving technician. In my recent visit, the male technician (possibly the owner) was very funny/entertaining. Lastly, nothing beats a comfy, well-maintained massaging pedicure chair. P.S. I like that this salon utilizes an iPad program (with tip calculator) for an efficient checkout; bonus...I get to enjoy the pedicure chair a little longer. read more

Milano Nails is a treat and my new go-to nail salon. The techs pay attention to detail. The salon is pristinely clean. There is an attitude of service. All of the techs I have used did an equally fine job. My nails last much longer than they did when I went elsewhere. Most of all, the techs let you relax. My first nail salon experience in Tucson and i am happy to say the search is over! I made an appointment and got right in when they said I would. Christine was my technician--so friendly and sweet but most importantly, meticulous! I have never had anyone clean and trim my nails as well as she did, like ever. I got a regular mani and pedi. Service was super rushed the nail tech didn't push back or cut my cuticle before doing my nails and now they just look super crusty and dry. I showed him a photo of the nails I wanted and instead of doing clear he took it upon himself to do them pink because he though the color I wanted wouldn't look good. Then when choosing the length I asked him if he could cut them shorter and again he said "no because they wouldn't look good and they'll be a little shorter when he files them" so I just filed them down a bit more myself when I got home. Probably won't be back. Expensive for mediocre service. I paid $72 for almond shape French acrylic nails. read more

Was treated to world-class service as a walk-in. This was the first time I had ever gotten acrylic nails and the tech did a wonderful job. I also got a gel manicure that has lasted now 2 weeks!! I would love to write a review on this nail salon but I wasn't ever seen! I called at 354pm on a Sunday. They close at 5pm. I asked if they had time for a pedicure and they said yes, at 420pm. I said I was on my way. I arrived at 414pm and they said the 'appointment' had been taken. I drove 20 minutes to this place to be told that the man on the phone 'misunderstood me'... I was in a jam and was looking for a nail salon that was open on a Sunday and I feel like the Universe smiled down on me when I found Milano! They were open and able to fit me in for a pedi and to remove acrylics followed by a gel manicure. The salon is neat and clean. The chairs are a pretty blue and are all in good condition. The overall impression when you walk in is that they take excellent care of their equipment and clients. My nail tech was sweet, and very detailed. She did an excellent job on both my pedicure and my gel manicure. What I think I liked most about this place is there wasn't a ton of banter/chatter. It was quiet and relaxing which is generally what I am personally looking for when I get my nails done. I would definitely recommend this salon. read more

Erica is the best and nicest nail tech I have ever had. She is quick but does a great job. She'll talk if you want to talk, or will be quiet if you don't feel like talking. She gave me a great pedicure also. She is such a nice lady who tries so hard to please the customer. Her English is getting better and better. She strives for perfection in everything she does. I had a fantastic experience at Milano Nails Salon two weeks ago. My manicure looks as great as it did 15 days ago except for the nails growing out! The technician did an excellent job shaping them too. I brought my girls (8 and 10) along for their first manicures and pedicures. My usual salon was closed and I was in desperate need for a fix, so I scoped out Milano Nails! The salon was very clean & the staff was friendly. It's fairly large and there are lots of chairs - would be a good spot for group pedis. My tech was extremely methodical and did a great (albeit slow) job on my gel mani. I started off with the dip and get the dip all the time started peeling and chipping within the first few days. I went to Milano Nails Salon for the first time, Saturday, January 11th, because the nail salon I've been going to for the past few months has become so busy that I kept being passed off from my manicurist to another salon employee and then to another. It was not relaxing and I was rushed through each time and the salon was always crowded. What a relief Milano Nails Salon was! I called Saturday morning and made an appointment for 2:00 pm. Michael was my manicurist and he was awesome! I sat at his table and he took care of my manicure from start to finish. I noticed it was the same for every customer whether a manicure or pedicure. Decided to give this place a try since they were accommodating about timing, and reviews were not all that bad. With that being said this was the worst nail experience I have ever had, to start off the nail tech did not ask if I wanted to keep or cut the length of my natural nail before applying the fake nail. I had asked for a tapered thin square shape and showed my nail tech several pics of the shape, after the shaping was done it was nothing like I asked for but I thought that she had at least tried until I was transferred to a different nail tech for polish and I could look at my nails in different lighting and saw that each and EVERY nail was a different shape, some even being different lengths. As well as product all over my skin, when i had expressed my concerrns about the nails I was made to feel uncomfortable by the deffensive nail tech. I had asked if I could just pay for what she had did and leave and it was almost as if that was even a bigger deal when in reality I did not want to spend extra time taking off any more work they would do to my nails. Yesterday, I called the business to ask how much the cost of a "gel pedicure" was. I was told $32 on the phone. I said "Great! Do you have time for that service right now?" I was told Yes and to come in. I arrived at Milano Nails Salon, was asked if I was the girl who just called, and then was asked to check in. Afterward, I was taken to the chair and the pedicure was performed. Pedicure was good, no complaints - but nothing special. I went to check out and handed the girl my card. She told me my total was $43. I was like wait; I was told a different price on the phone. It wasn't about the cost, it was about what I had been told. I was then told oh no, on the phone I thought you asked for a gel manicure. This was obviously not true, because when I arrived, they recognized me as the girl who called and sat me in a pedicure chair. She then proceeded to tell me twice nope, this is the cost after she had already run my card. If I would have been told the correct price on the phone, there wouldn't have been an issue. But you don't go and tell a customer purchasing a service that it is going to cost one thing and then charge them another. Absolutely unacceptable. read more

I usually don't write reviews, but I had to take the time to write this one. I've been going to this salon for 2 years and have never had an issue. However, today was absolutely the worst experience I've had getting my nails done in my entire life. To start off, a seemingly new employee did my nails. The reason I say he was new is because he didn't know what a French tip was when I asked for it, and he absolutely destroyed my natural nails using the electric filer. I've been getting gel on my fingers for months and they've remained relatively healthy. He didn't soak my nails long enough and decided it would be a good idea to use the electric filer to get the polish off. He did this too much on 4 of my nails and almost went THROUGH my nail down to the skin underneath. This burned the absolute crap out of my skin and it caused me to flinch away multiple times. my nails still sting and it's been an entire day. There were red marks all over the nail showing where he wore it down to the absolute thinnest layer. I'm convinced if I didn't pull away, he wouldn't went all the way through and I absolutely would've thrown up or passed out had that happened. I wanted to cry sitting there looking at my ruined nails. Usually if my color or shape is messed up, it's whatever to me. But this actually caused my entire nail bed on half my nails to be destroyed. A lady stepped in to finish my nails because I believe he gave up seeing how tense I was. I know for a fact they noticed he was doing a terrible job and not one employee apologized to me. Granted I didn't say a word, but it was 1000% obvious my nails were damaged. Not only that but they charge me a different amount for the same service almost every time I go in. read more

I went in for a pedicure today and I had been at this establishment before but it is now been taken over by different people. I had an 11 o'clock appointment with Kelly when I came in five minutes early they told me someone else was going to be taking care of me I only had to wait a little over five minutes the man who did my pedicure was not a talker which I appreciate because I am an introvert. He did a basic pedicure no-frills but it just felt very not relaxing. When my pedicure was done he took my card didn't tell me how much it was I happen to see that it was $28 and then he handed me back my card and I asked him if he could break a 20 and of course he only gave me four fives back but instead of asking him to break a five because I would've only given him three dollars I gave him the five dollars and left knowing that I was never going to come back. But when I looked at my toenails outside in the car I could tell they weren't even cut evenly which is ridiculous because I'm getting a basic no frills pedicure the least he could do was cut my nails evenly. They used a Dremel like tool to buff my nails and a sponge looking thing to make my heels and toes soft but he was a pretty aggressive with. Mind you I have very rough heels and I know this but it was just not a pleasant experience at all. Never coming back to this place. Still searching for a good place that'll give me a decent place that will give me a good pedicure. read more

My favorite part of a pedicure is the massage of the legs and feet. Because of that, I got the BEST pedicure ever today. It was not rushed. My feet never felt better. I did order the deluxe version but I have done that at other places and felt like it was over priced for the service. Not here! Lana did an amazing job.
