I just had the WORST experience I have ever had at a nail salon. I had come in on New Year's Eve. I was seated pretty quickly with a technician who made it CLEAR she was NOT happy helping me as I asked her to please remove my nails and do a simple manicure. She showed me the menu and kept suggesting more expensive manicure options and I told her no I just wanted a simple manicure, which annoyed her apparently because she then told me it was going to cost $30 to remove my nails. WHAT???? I've been doing my nails for over 20 years and never in my life have been charged that. Then she speaks in what I assume is Vietnamese with her coworkers on either side of her (clearly about me) and then tells me it's $30 for everything. The simple manicure was $18. Fine. $30. So then she proceeds to be very rough with me, which is when I asked her to please be gentle and maybe soak them first. This woman was so irritated with me that she couldn't wait to be done with me. She sped through the process and then said Happy New Year-as if she was done and I looked at her and said I wanted my nails painted. She then was trying to tell me I shouldn't paint them, then it was trying to sell me gel, and I told her again I just want simple nail polish. (I don't understand how most nail salons carry NAIL POLISH but always give you a hard time if you want basic nail polish). She then says to me, "Well what color do you want?" And I say "you haven't even given me a book to choose". Honestly WORST SERVICE I have ever received. I didn't even tip her and I ALWAYS tip! I just felt so disgusted by this woman. I just recently went in to get a pedicure with my boyfriend and sister. However, I am not satisfied with my results. There was a man in there who even had a wedding ring and tried to make me feel extremely uncomfortable. He asked me " do you like it mama? " in a really creepy manner and had no respect for my boyfriend or sister who were sitting on each side of me. The whole time I was there I felt extremely uncomfortable and wanted to just leave because of the creepy vibe I felt. My boyfriend told him to stop being weird and I think he charged me even more for my pedicure because I've gone in before to get a regular French tip and it was only about $50, however, when I went right now to get another French tip I was taxed $65!!! Horrible service. The last time I came too, my nails didn't even last two days because the gel they have is shitty and peels off very quickly! However, I tried a new nail salon in Menifee called Nail Bar and I would highly recommend going there. They have way better prices, service, and overall environmental. Good Gawd. As I type this my nails are still sore and burning from a botched full-set I received from this place earlier. I came in this morning with two bandaged fingers due to nasty hangnails. For that reason, I asked for a manicure first (to help clean, trim, and repair my natural nails), then a full set with special precaution shown to my two bum nails. Manicure went fine, if you don't include the tech being a bit overzealous with the cuticle nipper. Then began the tortuous application for the full set. **Disclaimer: I am a very reserved and easy-going individual by nature, and avoid confrontation at all costs. My life has to more or less be in danger for me to assert myself. THIS LADY EFFED MY SH-T UP. She was brutally rough, to the point of me yelping (no pun intended). She would chuckle a little and rub her finger quickly over each nail that she butchered, as if to erase the agony. I pleaded with her to go softer. Surely there's a lower setting on the electric filer that doesn't singe my flesh? She didn't relent, just plowed full steam ahead, despite me literally snatching my hand away twice, almost crying and saying, "You're hurting me!" In hindsight, I should have grabbed my sh-t and left right then, but because I was already halfway through mauling, I just clenched my teeth and prayed that the end was near. Then came the fun part... pricing. She explained that because I needed a manicure first, that would be an add'l $10. Totally reasonable. Then she said, because my nails were long (which was a questionable call), that it would be an additional $5. Mm-kay. THEN she said that because I wanted my nails in a coffin shape, that would be ANOTHER five dollars. And then... (wait for it) ANOTHER five dollars because my "fingernail were in bad shape." HUH??? Come again? You cut my nails down to less than half an inch and file the sides down to make a narrower shape, and that's ten f---ing dollars? Not to mention a gratuitous fee for me allowing you to brutally attack my nail beds? I went ham. Well, not ham, because I'm not very aggressive. But I went bologna. And held my ground, despite the fact that she talked over me - loudly - in an attempt to convince me I was an insane cheapskate. Ultimately they took the "coffin-and-cruelty" fee off my final bill but it was a battle. The cherry on top of this experience is that my boyfriend (who bankrolled this brutality), in his diplomacy, offered to give this chick a tip. He started to give her a five and I said, "Oh hell no," and dropped three singles on the counter instead. (Petty? Maybe.) The lady who rang us up looked at me, then eyed the five-dollar-bill in his hand, and asked him, "Why not five?" Dude. I can't. And I won't, ever again. This place looks amazing, but funeral homes are tastefully decorated too. This is an over priced for kids mani/pedi $25 my daughter wanted a metallic color so I was charged $10 for gel and $15 to make it metallic and it wasn't what she wanted. $50 for a metallic color is just ridiculous. Apparently they do not compensate for there mistakes, so I went here on 9/25/2021 to fix 3 broken nails and get a fill. 3 days after the fill on my right in one nail begin to crack on one side then shortly after another crack appeared on the other side. Then a day later another nail cracked on both sides same hand. A day later on my left hand my thumb nail has a crack on the side and my middle nail also cracked, so every one knows if you regularly get your nails done eventually the crack splits right across the middle. I tried to reach the nail shop by phone for at least four days it kept going straight to voicemail. Eventually I left a message on Saturday informing them I would be coming on Monday because I couldn't get there at the time. So I get there for one the lady refused to listen she asked when did I come I explained the 25th but my nails been cracking informed her I've been trying to reach them all she kept saying is it's been 10 days and my nails are breaking because I hit something. I explained no because I don't even do anything that requires physical labor the reason I went there in the first place was to repair a cracked nail.It has not been 2 weeks and not only did I pay $50 dollars but I also tipped the nail tech. She could of took the time to listen apologize and our compensate refund my money. It takes 2 weeks for nails to grow out and for good nail techs sometimes longer. Now 2 of the cracked nails split straight across the middle and eventually broke off. Do not go here they're definitely a rip off in my opinion rude and inconsiderate. If I could give negative stars I would. This place is horrible. I went in and didn't have the best experience. They were arguing back and forth the whole time. My nails are all chipped and discolored from gel polish after not even 24 hours later, and I had just one acrylic nail to be put on and it was crooked. I went in today and asked for my money back. They refused to give me my money back and kept offering to fix the nails. I explained that I was a working mom and have 2 kids with a husband that works graveyard. I went in for my eyelash extensions, the first application was perfect. I went back in two weeks for a fill and this is where things went left. I went to the same lady (Hanna) she didn't use the same size lashes as I asked, she was completely unprofessional. She was to busy applying her makeup so I had to wait on the table. Visited last week for a gel manicure and spa pedicure. Decided to go here since I had a coupon for $5 off. The location is beautiful and they have many employees so there is literally no wait. Employees were nice and friendly. I was a bit irritated that my coupon was not accepted because apparently I had already received $3 off my pedicure since it was a Thursday. Why not just give me my extra $2 off and call it a day? I know it's not much, but why issue a coupon to attract customers and not let them use it? I call that bad customer service. The comes and get meto do my lashes again pleasant and kind and they were cute until I got home first a single lash fell ok no biggie but, then they started feeling like needles in my lids I mean to the point I couldn't sleep but then two whole clumps came out and now both lids feel like A needle is in them no matter what I'm doing I have to put numbing cream on them and only the corners of my eyes but when I try feeling for the lashes they feel hard as nails and you can see the space where lashes are supposed to be and I did get my nails done but it wasn't like I wanted she kept trying to charge me for two colors when I just wanted them natural like in the picture and I pretty sure she over charged because it says starting at 25 full set but she changed me 48 now how you do that and they are short at that Look it's a beautiful place but,not the service I can get the same thing in the mall for less. Jenny did my full set in 15 mins ( shortest time someone has spent on my nails doing a completely new full set) just because they were understaffed and had alot of customers. Never coming here again. I went in originally for a manicure and pedicure with 2 of family members.( they got professional s) . He failed to push cuticles, moisturize or add any oil & no massage !!!! Not even a pat !. I wanted an acrylic set but with no gel on top, just regular polish. It's my preference. The lady that worked there came up to me and told me to sit down. And I asked where their regular nail polish was, not gel. She says you don't want that! You want gel! I said firmly "NO I don't" and her response (in her VERY broken English) was "yes you do you mess up regular polish you want gel" then said something in Vietnamese or whatever language she speaks and walks away from me, at this point I'm YELLING at her from across the salon and she ignored me! I was PISSED and I'm the type of person if someone disrespects me especially when I'm paying for a service, I will not tolerate it. I had a little nail polish on my finger nail I sampled and wiped it off on the counter, so ladies that work there, that mess from me for you to clean up :) I took myself and my mom across the street to Sally's and got everything FOR THE SAME price to our nails our damn selves. But I did get a gel manicure and the nail polish was very un-even in color , some on my skin& the night of clear coat coming off... I went the next day and they got mad at me for showing them and said they looked fine, they had to do it over and they didn't even take the previous gel off , they just painted over it... I've gone here a couple years back for my nails, I didn't enjoy the service (constant upwelling and being pushy even after being told NO), I never went back until 3 days ago for my brows and upper lip (she upsold me on that service but it made sense for my event). Anyways my lips is fine, but she completely burned my brows. They still burn and sting, I'm started to get scans over the blister bumps low thanks to my first aid treatment once I realized what had happened. So needless to say I'm thinking about not going to this huge event now where I'm receiving an award, all because my brows! I didn't even want to go here, my husband suggested them to me for a waxing service because he didn't want me to traveling to Murrieta to go see a LICENSED waxer with her own salon. I paid for toes never went back this was 1 yr ago. Went back this past Monday and experienced the same treatment I went in for A mani pedi and after she quickly did my toe polish everywhere sloppy work she left me in the spa chair as one of her regular clients came in. She told me someone will come get you to do your nails. I waited and waited no one came to assist me. I put my shoes on and went to sit next to my friend who was getting her nails done. She asked her technician why did they just leave me to take a walk in with no appointment. He had no answer. They then begin to offer me service as soon as my other technician was done. I declined. First I told her what I wanted and she obviously couldn't execute what I was asking for which was a simple French Tip with white tips and a clear base. She tells me it will take to long and insist I get a got a nude powder that did not match my skin tone. Long story short she got mad because I was consistent on what I wanted which was a SIMPLE FRENCH TIP. After she finally agrees she stops after applying powered to one nail and tells me to pay BEFORE SHE COMPLETES my nails. Absolutely the worst salon experience.. My daughter went in and had an appointment with Vivian.. she greeted her and asked my daughter to show her a picture of what she wanted..so she showed her the picture and asked is this the same cost as the full set white tip? ($35) The lady said yes.. she puts the nails on and then says it's $75.. I asked her why is it 75.. she said because it's the nail and I asked politely.. what makes it go up to $75.. she said you don't want I take off and starts trying to take off my daughter's nails..I sais no stop we are still paying but, I would like to understand the cost.. and repeated what she agreed to..she said you don't want and storms off.. she comes back very upset and is I tell her I am just trying to understand the cost .. she said I don't speak English I don't know..you want I do if not I don't..she gets frustrated again and tossed the towel on the counter. She said in busy I don't have time.. I spoke with a male that worked there explained the situation he told me it would be $37 for her nails..I said so why is she telling me 75.he said I dunno you need to speak with the manager.. 20 minutes later no manager.. my daughter sat there with incomplete nails for prom..we walked out with just the nails on.. another nail tech across from us didn't like being asked questions by her client and did the exact same thing when her client asked her a question and clean up her station and walked away.. very unprofessional and very upsetting..never going back..we took our money to US nails and they happily finished, did a beautiful job, and had had amazing customer service..
