The experience to get my nails done by the only guy there was the best. He's so fast and omg he gets your nails looking fleet and he's up to have a conversation but he doesn't really chat and that's good because some make you feel awkward but he doesn't, you literally fit in. I got black powder black and when I tell you this man did my nails so prefect, no sloppy work just perfection. The price is right for the work he's doing. Definitely going back soon. Not good quality products/technique. Gel manicure chipped the same day. Went back to have repaired, and chipped again. Went in for the third time and the technician forgot to put the top coat of the gel polish on 2 nails and the 3rd nail turned out thicker than the rest. I won't be back. $48 wasted. I've been going to Model Nails for a few years and it was fine, until now. They do a great job, but the request of stopping you at the door to "go and wash your hands" in order to sit in a chair and get a PEDICURE (on the FOOT) is annoying and unnecessary I am not a child. Initially, the nail techs made an effort at conversation, but now I just sit there and have to listen to Vietnamese conversations going on non-stop ACROSS the salon, which is rude and disrespectful to me and other clients. How about concentrating on what you're doing, making an effort to acknowledge I'm even there, and have non-business conversations outside of work, like every other professional service industry job? They are basically saying the clients are incidental. Last straw was yesterday, after finishing, the nail tech told me to just relax and let my nails dry, as always. After 15 minute, I needed help getting the paper towel wrap off my toes, and getting my sandles on without risking smearing my nail polish. but couldn't find her. I asked a tech working on a client next to me to find my tech. The sole male tech (or manager?) in the salon came over and said, "Your nails are dry now, you can put your sandals on yourself!! Who does this for you at home?" Seriously!! WTF!! I asked if I tried myself and smeared the polish, would he redo it? Then he huffs and puffs and comes over and shoves the sandals on. I left, but called him on my way home and said I would never be returning due to his rude, snarky, demeaning, arrogant behavior. He said I could come back anytime to which I said, "Why, to get treated like that? Sad that your techs will lose my business and that of anyone I talk to about the salon." He didn't care and just repeated that I can come back. NOT ON YOUR LIFE.There are plenty of nail salons nearby that are more professional. read more

Found this little hidden place, spur of the moment. I'm new to the area, so I was open to trying anyplace. The place is older and can use some sprucing up, but they get the job done. I had a young lady named "Mimi" do my pedicure. She was super gentle and very thorough, the equipment was clean too. She gave a good massage and the tows were just hot enough. I'd come back. I wasn't unimpressed at first until my nail started to fall off and others were hurting bad so now I'm stuck with 9 nails and a very weak damaged pinky nail. These nails cost too much for this $137 I'm very dissatisfied, my nail tech was nice. The pedicure was great but for acrylic nails I do not recommend. My mother inlaw had hers done and she isn't completely satisfied and she had a different nail tech. As well as part way thru my nails the mail tech took over and then my original tech came back. Had to get antibiotics for my toe infection. Place is uninviting and ugly. I was a walk in and I asked for a woman, I didn't know the receptionist was going to be my technician, I then thought "oh oh" The moment I walked in all I could see was them looking at oblong green paper vibe. Before she started I strongly said "do not cut me". She cut me twice. Rush rush and fast fast and distracted by not being at the front desk. Couldn't give a rat's ass about doing a good job. Snipped my toe nails and didn't file them. Started using that drill on the top of my nails (why I don't know) but I ended that procedure immediately. $8 for buffing only.....f..k that shit. Sloughing didn't go that well, didn't have a good touch (rough). I detest when they talk, talk, talk. Didn't add the salts in the foot bath. You'll be best to bring your own tools at these places. Oh, I think the same scraper is used on more than one person. I think this is enough to keep you away. read more

A friend referred me to this place. I'd been looking all over Hemet for a decent place. First mistake I made was not getting the name of the person he thought was so great. I walked in without an appointment. It was a short wait. I've read some pretty rotten reviews of different places, like how little time was spent on a pedicure. That wasn't the case. The lady who did it was very nice, spoke probably no English. I was very clear on the amount of tip she would get. She overcharged me by a buck. After reading some of the reviews on Yelp, I hadn't planned to complain about it but may just to be a pain in the butt, I will. If you decide to check it out, don't use plastic & if you do, keep an eye on your bank/credit card activity. She didn't do a great job. Nails are NOT even. Thank goodness I just got a clear polish. She also nicked me. It bled. I was very unhappy with that. I should have gotten out of the chair when that happened. She was also kind of rough when she was working. I'll be keeping an eye out on my foot & I hope I don't get an infection - or it's a complaint to OSHA. BTW, I sent the business a message on Facebook. I have never had this bad of a job on my nails. The women who did them was very nice. However, she clearly did not know what she was doing. The nails were thick and poorly shaped. They looked very unprofessional and were chipping and tearing away within 2 days. I had to live with them because they were expensive and i could not afford to re do them for a few weeks. I paid for services I did and didn't get... in the end my natural nails were horrible ruined and I've been in pain since. To exaplin... Upon my 3rd and final visit I was under the impression I'd be serviced by one of the youn female or male staff members. However, this was not the case. They were in a rush and had directed me to an elderly woman to do my nails. While the other mail solan employees took in clients who showed up late !!! for thier "apointment.... yikes. This is the DANGEROUS part! I had requested a manicure and fill as well as shortening my already exhisting nails... but acording to the woman doing my nails that was to complicated and they needed to be removed to be shortened from what she told me. So fine I said remove them and put on a new set. She pulled out a plastic nail tip and began shoving them under my nails trying to force them to pop off. It hurt so bad and i asked her to stop and to please soak them. When she was one the kat two nails she cracked and split my ring finger nail down the middle at least 1/3 of the way i wanted to cry but i was so ashamed that i had let her go this far... she didn't even give me a manicure or anything... I didn't like confrontation so i let her carry on and it hurt it was awful... i kept hoping it get better and it didn't. days after the application my fingers were still pulsing in pain and the nails she applied on were coming off and snagging onto everything. since she had put a applied arylic that pooped over the skin around my nails....basically product onto my own skin!!!! my hair would get caught and tug on the nail and my hair it was awful... and when the nails came off i saw the damage... my nails were tender and red and jagged... several of my nails have been so damaged i have to wear bandaids to protect them. Update: charged me 98$ for acrylics and absolutely constant pain the entire time... oh even told them how bad it hurt and screamed.... and a slop job pedicure that was rushed in the spa with in 2 minutes .... All I wanted was: a spa pedicure. (they rushed it to close asap!) a filling and clean up of my nail skin ..so basically a manicure and to have my acrylic nails shorter an painted new colors. read more

This was my first time going to the salon I must say it was absolutely amazing the lady rub my feet for over 10 minutes and used hot lotion and hot towel it was absolutely great the water was perfect temperature and they had massage chairs for the patient to sit in. I got a full set and was treated with great one on one experience. None of my nails broke after 2 weeks which has happened with other places. Just went back for a fill. The place is very ran down. Chairs are peeling and everything gives old vibes, however I was happy this was the only place that was able to take my 5yr old and me for gel manis and pedís since it was the weekend before Xmas and everywhere else including our usual was booked in beautiful Hemet elderly lady that helped me was nice and was patient doing my daughters nails. There were only 3 ppl doing nails and helping out so ppl would come in and leave but it's close to the holidays so that's not uncommon. Overall I liked the service, but the place can use a little fix up. After all it has prices like the rest of the salons. I spent $120 on 2 gel manis and 1 gel pedi (2nd to most expensive on there I think 55) plus tip. So it was not the cheapest.
