I didn't even end up getting my nails done because the service is so bad. I came with my sister, one lady started with her automatically. The lady who was supposed to do mine said "5 minutes" then 15 minutes later still nothing. Then someone else came in (not an appointment) and she started working on her broken nails right away! 45 minutes in and still nothing. Horrible service. I'm not sure what her name is but she has glasses, if you come here don't get work done by her. Edit: My sisters nails look HORRIBLE. They're crooked, it looked like she needed a fill immediately after, they didn't paint them completely, they didn't file them completely, AND they cut her. If I could give them a 0, I would. I called for information about the eyelash extensions and after getting prices and time needed to do this I was told you must schedule an appointment. I scheduled for both my daughter and I and asked if we could be done at the same time, I was told they could. When we arrived we were told she ( as in only one person) was still doing a previous customer and could we wait 10 minutes. We were took into the room where the customer was and after waiting another 30 minutes and she still wasn't done I had to leave because I had somewhere to be and it was going to be at least an hour and a half before we might be done. I figured it was a one time schedule issue and left my daughter to do hers and rescheduled for the next morning. I arrived a few minutes before my appointment time and was told go to the room. She had 2 customers in there and told me I would have to make an appointment, when I refreshed her memory that I had been there the afternoon before and I had scheduled she asked me to wait another 40 minutes. ‼‼Attention all ladies & gents‼‼This is not the place to go. Immediately from the moment I walked in until the moment I walked out I was dissatisfied. Normally, I would just walk out and go somewhere else; but because I had other plans for the rest of the day, I had to just trust them and give them a chance. The girl receptionist was sweet but she was the only one that seemed to have some common sense. I sat down at the pedicure section and had a manicure done as well. I got made fun of by both of the manicurist because I had accidentally made an appointment for a "shellac" manicure vs. a "gel" manicure. I didn't understand why it was that big of a deal to just change it to a gel manicure? Anyways, my pedicure lady asked me THREE times "are you sure you don't want gel for your toe nails it last longer and it will look better for you" I explained to her unfortunately I just can't afford that right now. For the fourth time she asked if i was sure and then asked if i wanted to upgrade my pedicure to a "deluxe"for callus removal because mine were "pretty bad" excuse me? who says that? Sorry i'm on my feet all day at work? I wasn't sure how to even respond to that. My manicurist was trying to convince me to change my nail color and insisted that the color he chose for me was darker when it clearly wasn't. They continued to work and switch languages to chinese so they could talk shit about me. When they finished the girl walked off without even saying thank you to me and the guy finished my toes for her since she forgot to put a top coat on or maybe just didn't feel like she needed too? He proceeded to put cuticle oil all over my freshly painted toes and insisted that it would keep them from chipping when immediately stepping into my car the polish was already coming up. ‍ I was in a rush as it's my mother's 65th birthday. I had things to do today so I called them when I got to the grocery store explained what happen to the front desk lady asking if there was anyway I could be refunded or even half of a refund back would do. She only has so much control so she handed me over to the owner. The owner said she wasn't able to refund me and that I could come in for them to redo it. Now why would I want to make the time out of my busy work schedule to have two people who already made me uncomfortable redo my nails? So she just kept talking over me continuing to explain that she can't refund me and that she could only have them fix it for me. So i told her "that's fine, I'll just leave you a review on Yelp, Thank you!" Anyways you guys, not worth the $50 to be in there at 12:20 and out by 12:45. So unprofessional and extremely rude. First time here and got the "Happiness Deluxe Pedicure". I must say this was a total rip off. They do not use timers for the massage and did about a 2minute massage verses the 10 minute that it was supposed to be. I didn't realize it until she wiped off the supposed lotion and then gave me my shoes. So I asked her if this included the lotion? She stated she already put the lotion and wiped it of with the hot towel. I was puzzled because she wiped it off and didn't know lotion was suppose to be wiped off and then I asked the owner if they time the massage she stated they do not (I have been to places where they put a timer on) so I was puzzled because I didn't know the 2 minutes she rubbed the "lotion" on was the actual massage. NEVER EVER AGAIN! I paid 52 bucks bcuz I rcvd the gel so that was an additional 15 to the 37 bucks. I didn't mind the 15 extra but I did mind the crappy treatment and 2min massage that was supposed to be 10 min. Now that is where I have a problem. WARNING!!! DO NOT GO HERE! If I could give them zero stars, I would! Walked in for a mani/pedi & they were extremely unprofessional! From the beginning, they did not communicate with my friend & I. One employee started on my friends mani & left her hanging for about 15-20 minutes.. meanwhile, I'm sitting down on a massage chair waiting for someone to assist me. Another customer walks in & they instantly help her with her mani/pedi although I've been waiting for a over 20 minutes.. I understand if they were under staffed but they weren't. There was employees sitting around. I ended up getting up out of the massage chair & instantly they wanted to help me.. I basically told them how unprofessional they are & do not want to be serviced by them. They finished my friends mani/pedi but in the meantime, I was sitting waiting while their employees were loudly talking about it.. I don't speak their language but based on their body language & finger point at me, I was able to conclude they were talking about me. This establishment is racial bias! I got a full set & pedicure the lady who did my pedicure cut me multiple times as I sat in the chair there was gnats flying around the white chairs aren't even white anymore as I got up & moved to a different side of the salon so they could do my nails & they didn't clean the chair but had another guest sit down it in & the guy who did my nails wasn't listening to how I wanted them even after I kept telling him & now there messed up some of them are uneven & the gel polish is already chipping & I just got them done yesterday I wasted $80 for my toes to hurt & horrible service please save your time & money go somewhere else read more

So I gave this place another try but still not impressed. It looks beautiful and luxurious but they suck at acrylic nails! I went my first time and within the week my 5 nails lifted I went in for them to fix and fill them and the lady (Kathy) noticed how bad it was she did a new set and it did not help at all. This place is the perfect example of rushing your service to get a quick buck. I've gone here twice for pedicures with my mom. I've never felt relaxed because the entire service is too rushed without taking their time. I've noticed that they use a "cheese" like grater- a tool that's used to remove calluses. Apparently that's a big no-no because it can cut someone and therefore spread a disease. They use plastic liners in the foot tubs which is nice. There was an older lady next to me who was getting both a pedicure and manicure and she was complaining in pain about one of the manicurists being too rough while using a drill like tool to remove the gel off her nails. The last straw for us was when they charged my moms card $50 for a pedicure! Apparently their "machine" made a mistake when it interpreted a $3 tip as $30!! For a service of a $20 pedicure! The older gentleman who helped us was kind to give us a refund there on the spot, while the "owner" I suppose, who's an older lady, said she needed to go home to look at the receipts. So we came back the next day, to be told that the machine did make an error and the lady said she was going to refund us $27. I'm sorry, but at this point we had wasted our time and gas to get this fixed, so I insisted that they refund us the tip as well. The gentleman was completely ok with that while the lady seemed as if she didn't want to refund the tip as well. The gentleman said they'd be responsible over the $3 tip. My sisters and I decided to try out Milano Nail Spa because our regular nail spot was super busy. I noticed the reviews and overall rating of this place was low, but we took a chance on it (big mistake). We get to Milano and let them know we've never been there before and we were excited to try it out. One of my sisters was getting her nails done by "Vincent". She had been very specific with what she wanted, showed him a picture and all. She told him she wanted her nails to be square shape, as he began his work she notIced he was doing the coffin shape, she mentioned it to him 3 times and each time he denied it and said that he's not done yet. Long story short, he finally admitted he did the wrong shape on her then accused her of being a liar aNd that we were just not trying to pay (which wasn't the case at all, we still paid evEn before the whole incident), he began acting like a child and openly began talking crap about us to his coworkers and other customers (whole time we are very calm up until this point) they then tried to charge my sister 45 for a set that wasn't completed and was done completely wrong. They said they either cut off the nails or wE have to pay 45 for really poorly uncompleted nails. After we refused "Hannah" the manager called the cops and locked us inside for 20 min. Never once did they call the cops and they wouldn't let us out. Vincent the nail tech and Hannah the manager continued to just yell and demand the money. WE PAID FOR OUR SETS. This place is unsafe, and very unprofessional. their low rating and bad reviews are true to who they are. Never ever going back again. read more

The salon is nice and spacious, but the CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE! I was cut multiple times while getting my nails done. When I got the pedicure the person who did my pedicure didn't scrub my feet like they usually do. I'm giving them 2 stars because both nail techs who provided my fill and pedi were both really nice ... BUT this is probably the worst fill I have ever gotten. My pedicure wasnt that great either. I understand they are very new shop in town, and very busy because of that reason, but instead of trying to take EVERY customer that comes in and rush on their service, just to help the next customer, they should probably just be honest and tell people that they don't have time today, or to come back at a different time, or schedule an appt. for them. I have cuts on almost every one of my fingers, none of my nails are shaped the same, the paint job was horrible, and it was just super uncomfortable having someone rush like that. I have been searching for a great nail salon for 5 years, having visited most of them once. Then Milano's came along, what a place! Relaxing, in the spa chair they all come to you. Do not go here for eyelash extensions. I should've done my HW before I went in but it was an on the spot decision. The lashes looked very pretty when I got them but my eyes itched. They had horrible hand hygiene and at one point the technicians switched and when I got up someone else had finished my lashes. Less than a week later a lot of the lashes on my right eye had fallen and there was so much glue on my eyelid it looked like I had old mascara clumped up in there. I paid $80 for them and I also got my eyebrows waxed. I told her not to thin them out and she did! Omg horrible experience. They don't speak English very well so there clearly was a language barrier. Very clean and nice staff, they do a great job on eye brows, but I've had 4 nails break already from doing simple tasks. They rush through the whole process. The last time I got my nail replaced, she made it shorter than the rest and put clear coat when the rest of my nails were clearly matte. They charge more than other places but its not worth it. They charge $5 more just for a matte coat. All the other places I've been have just included it as a clear coat. read more

Just an FYI, appointments are NOT required. I had a pedicure and gel nails. This was only my second experience at a salon and it was great. Really nice people and great service. Went here on my birthday and I was so disappointed. It was my first outing by myself in a year (because I have a one year old & im a stay at home mom) and the lady starting CLIPPING her nails in the middle of doing mine!! Also she left dirt in them. And at the end she just walked away and I was so confused. I'm not picky at all and always give people the benefit of the doubt. But come on!! My experience at Milano Nail Spa was bad. I traveled 60 miles or so to meet one of my friends. We decided to have a ladies day out. I had a manicure and pedicure. The pedicure wasn't too bad. The manicure only lasted a day. My nail polish is peeling off. It would have been better if i would have had requested no nail polish. Not only did my nail polish come off, the MANICURIST missed a lot of steps in the manicure. I had to reminder her she missed working on some of my finger nails. The MANICURIST appeared to be very upset and RUDE. Not only to me but other customers as well. Since I don't live nearby, I will not be able to return to the shop to show them my nail polish is peeling off. Not a good experience. read more

I was pleased with the appearance of this salon. It took a minute before a technician addressed me, but after that I was seated in a spa chair. The young lady who did my pedicure didn't do a good job. The polishing was decent, but as far as removing the dry skin, she did poorly. The gentleman who did my acrylic fill started off ok but in the end the polish job was messy on the sides and he did not do a good job with filing the sides of the nails and making sure the paint covered the cracks. Worst set of nails and pedicure I ever had! This shop looks nice on the inside, but level of ineptness is ridiculous! Tony did my pedicure and he couldn't have been more lazy! I had to ask him several times to clean my cuticles and remove the dead skin? Really? It's a pedicure.....why should I have to ask numerous times for basic service! He didn't even use cuticle softener before starting! Now, let's talk about the new set of nails that were supposed to be coffin shaped! I don't remember the lady's name that did my nails, but I wouldn't take another chance on anyone in this shop. She started out using tips that were too wide for my nails, and then attempted to make them more narrow, but couldn't quite accomplish it. 3 nails were crooked and they ended up wide and uneven. Not even remotely close to coffin shape! On top of that I was charged $50 and didn't even get my nails polished because I was so disgusted! Needless to say, this was a colossal waste of my time and money! Don't bother with this place! Envious Nail on Sanderson is 1000 times better! i absolutely love this place!! i have never been the type to get my nails or toes done, and never liked how anyone did my eyebrows either!! i happened to drive by and see milano's banner a week after they opened and was welcomed by smiling warm faces!! sophia is amazing!! she took her time with me!! she made me laugh, yet made me feel comfortable!! she even did my eyebrows, and let me just tell you, its been 6weeks since i have been going to her, and i havent let anyone else touch my eyebrows!! seriously!! its the best shape my eyebrows have ever been!! i have made an apppointment every two weeks religiously with sophia!! my first appointment they accidently forgot, and sophia came all of the way from their other salon, in another city, just to take care of me!! i cant even begin to explain in words just how amazing this nail & spa truly is!! i have had my fiance, whos a combat war veteran, get a mani & pedi here too and jackie was absolutely accommodating to his disability, all the while making him feel comfortable!! ive even had a princess spa treatment for my daughter, who is 8years old and she absolutely loved jackie too!! my boss and even close friend have gone to tammy, and absolutely adore her as well!! they really were all nice and humorous!! nothing but a great family ran location, who will always have my business hands down!! read more
