Owner Laura sat us right away, Augusto served us and hit on all 8 cylinders. From the wine selection, Castelli Red Italian Blend we were doted over like we were the only table! Started with some fantastic bread. Then apps. We had a fabulous Eggplant Ripeni, stuffed with Ricotta it was delicious. Then Chef Laura brought out an Arancini appetizer that I can only describe as decadent! Stuffed with Cheese, topped with a Garlic Aioli and Braised Short Rib that was delightful. It was perfectly cooked and had just a hint of Saffron. So good! Then our Entrees. Ravioli Funghi Tartuffo. Perfectly creamy and still light sauce with just enough Truffle and Porcinni to tantalize the tastebuds and leave you wanting more as you are licking the plate! Next up is the Veal Colleta Milano. A specialty of our Chefs home town. Pro tip order this one to share! Tender Provimi Veal expertly breaded and sautéed in Butter! Topped with Arugula and fresh Tomatoes and Shaved Pecorino cheese. Two friends are in town from Canada and we wanted to try a different restaurant--somewhere equidistant between Summerlin and the southeast side of town where they are staying. After searching on Yelp, I found Milano in Town Square. We had a reservation for 5:30. I was early and sat for a short while waiting for my friends. We were seated promptly when they arrived. The restaurant is not very large. There is a lovely patio with a great view of Town Square and the park below. We all had the potato soup which was the chef's soup of the day. Very good and just the right start. We had different entrées. One had spaghetti with oil, I had the gnocchi 4 fromaggi. It was very cheesy, and very good. Finally, the third person had their white lasagna. We all agreed on how good the dishes were that we had enjoyed. We each got a different dessert. I got the torta della Nonna, another got affogato her way ( a bit different) and made to her taste, and the third got the torta di Milano. A sweet ending to a good meal. For locals, Milano is on the second floor above Mora ice cream. A short walk from ground parking or the west garage where I parked. I'm glad we tried this restaurant. A fine experience. read more

Made reservations for Mother's Day and was seated right away. Everyone was so nice from the minute we entered the restaurant. We had the Mother's Day special Arancini which were delicious. Came to Milano Pizza as a family of four with two young kids and had a bit of a mixed first impression, but overall a solid experience. When we arrived, we were greeted with a bit of awkwardness after saying we didn't have a reservation, even though there were plenty of open tables in the dining room. It felt a little unwelcoming at first. We were asked if sitting outside was okay, and we agreed, but the initial interaction gave off a slightly uptight, fine-dining vibe -- which felt a little out of place considering the restaurant is upstairs in a mall. That said, our waiter and server completely turned things around. They were warm, extremely friendly, genuine, and great with our family, which made a big difference. Food-wise, everything was delicious. We ordered the Napoli pizza, Las Vegas pizza, and rigatoni with vodka sauce, and all of it hit the spot. Great flavors, well-prepared, and everyone at the table was happy -- including the kids. Overall, the food and service from our server were strong, but the front-of-house/management approach could be more welcoming, especially for families. Mystique is in the finding of how to get to the restaurant. There's an elevator sign but it isn't very helpful once you're in the elevator, surprise, the doors will open behind you. Stairs are pretty steep if you care to climb them. If you're wearing heels I suggest the elevator. I think this is one of those restaurants you only find if someone tells you about it. In our case, the Yelpers did a great job describing both the menu and how to locate it. Without the reviews, we probably would have walked right past and never noticed it. Since it's on the second floor, it's easy to overlook, which is a shame because it actually has a really nice view of the plaza below. The setting is relaxed, with art dotting the hallway as you enter, and patio dining that overlooks the park-like area below. For appetizers we had the Calamari Fritti and the Prosciutto with Burrata. Both were beautifully presented. The calamari paired perfectly with a deliciously seasoned dipping sauce, and the light burrata with olives was the perfect complement to the prosciutto. Note: the picture was of two orders of calamari. We were greeted like family. Eric, our server, along with everyone else we encountered, was gracious and welcoming. It truly had a warm, family touch. I met a friend from college here for a little catch up dinner. We chose this place because we both wanted Italian for dinner and this was close by my hotel. We ended up having such an incredible meal here, I'm still thinking it. We both had one of the specials. I had the nduja paparadelle pasta and she had the lamb with truffle pasta. Both were incredible. The pasta is fresh, perfectly cooked, and just so insanely good. The servers were so wonderful and kind, and the chef came by a couple times to check on us as well. This spot is totally deserving of all the hype and accolades. A friend mentioned in passing that Milano was one of her favorite restaurants to dine with her family, so we made plans to go together - and it did not disappoint! They're upstairs at Town Square (above Coffee Bean, by Blue Martini) with a menu of Italian pastas, pizzas and entrees. We shared the bruschetta and Caesar salad to start, the bolognese and the featured special pizza for our mains, and ended with the Sphere dessert (house vanilla gelato with a nutella shell, topped with a pour of creamy espresso!). They also serve fresh bread for every table, and chef also brought out a beet gnocchi dish she's testing, for feedback. It was SO much food for two (for about $100) and everything was so good. The service during our visit, from Roberta, was stellar - so thoughtful and attentive. My friend does not eat pork, so they suggested substituting bresaola instead of mortadella, rather than omitting the protein altogether (cheaper for them). It was easy to see why they come here regularly - on a rainy weekday evening, they had several tables, many of whom seemed to be return visitors. Place like this thrive on word of mouth, especially with their out-of-the way location. Add it to your list for the next time you're craving Italian, or just when you need a meal in the area. Found this place upstairs in Town Square. It is a bit of a hunt to find this spot bit we were successful. The food was spot on and we really enjoyed it. The fried calamari was excellent. I ordered the lamb chops which were very well prepared but came with a mountain of mashed potatoes. They could have halved the potatoes and added some asparagus and the entree would have been perfect. The service was interesting. Our server was very eager for us to order even though the restaurant was far from full. After his third or fourth pass, we asked him to give us some space. After that it was all good. Great conversation, great food, great service. The space is nicely decorated and felt nice and comfortable. I will definitely come back to Milano. read more

I came to the restaurant to dine for dinner last night and I was really disappointed. The restaurant is on the second story next to blue martini and is really cute and the ambiance was intimate and romantic. We ordered the calamari, spaghetti, and a ravioli dish. I didn't get a chance to take pictures because I was so hungry. I also ordered a cocktail and it was really good. When the food arrived, the portions were small. One entrée was not enough to fill one person's belly. With the two entrées and the calamari and the cocktail, we spent over $100 with tip and we left still hungry. Our server was nice, but there was left to be desired. The food tasted good, but definitely not worth it. read more

Wild that I've been coming to town square so often and always see this place across the park. A couple friends swear by this place so, we came for his birthday. The place is small / intimate. Nice spot for a date night :) It would be super cute if they had live music/band somewhere in there...maybe on the balcony or something. Food seems fresh as we kinda waited (a while) for our food but, it was worth the wait. I love that the pasta wasn't too soft and firm to the bite -- al dente, as they say ! Always love a Caesar salad with anchovies on it; bonus that there was Parmesan shavings !!!!! I ordered the lamb chops and pasta. Don't think I normally see lamb on Italian menus so, it was a nice change. Chops were smaller than expected but, yummy nonetheless. I liked that the pasta wasn't too oily or creamy, like just enough sauce to coat the pasta not overwhelm it. Another friend order the filet with risotto and seemed to really enjoy her dish. They were quick to answer my Yelp questions. Called and made a reservation for 2 on a Friday without any issues. Arrived a little early and they sat us We were greeted with a warm smile and friendliness. The vibe was very relaxed and welcome. It was comfy. Our table was a little squished but not too uncomfortable. Out sever took our drink order along with appetizer. Just a little bit later she took our entree order. Fresh bread was brought out with oil and vinegar. The bread was warm and fresh. The focaccia was so tasty. It was fluffy and soft. The calamari was lightly breaded and not greasy. Very light and not overcooked. I really enjoyed. The gnocchi was amazing. It doesn't look like a lot but I had a hard time finishing. It had fresh blue cheese which made it a little questionable but it was very well blended. It wasn't very doughie. I enjoyed each bite. The spaghetti was quite tasty as well. The sauce was flavorful and the dish wasn't overly swimming in it either. My husband cleaned his plate so I knew it was a good meal. Very cool that they offer a vegan section, which I really appreciated. I tried the gluten free ravioli and it was honestly the perfect portion for me, filling without feeling heavy. The service truly stood out. The servers were beyond kind and made the whole experience feel warm and relaxed, like being at a genuine Italian restaurant. One of them even spoke Italian and was so friendly and welcoming, which added such a special touch. I never felt rushed at any point. The view at night was also beautiful, especially from the chairs near the window overlooking Town Square's central park. This little gem very quickly became one of our favorite all time restaurants...and our favorite Italian food in Vegas so far. The staff is so friendly...all of them! Roberta, Brianna, Augusto, and we were even served by Chef Laura on one visit! Their love of what they do is infectious, and it's like visiting old friends. The atmosphere is cozy, the outside patio is wonderful on a cool evening. The food is outstanding. Best calamari anywhere, and the red sauce it's served with should be sold in jars to take home. Meatballs are fantastic, the red sauce is bright and delicious, and the scallop risotto was savory and amazing. The pizza is also terrific with high quality ingredients. Ok, my first thought was..."Why haven't I been to this place before??" Milano is an incredible restaurant upstairs in the center of Town Square. It has plenty of free parking and is easily accessible. A beautiful venue with panoramic views of the Town Square center and even a lovely patio ( Weather permitting). That in itself would make for a lovely restaurant, however, the true beauty of this venue is the amazing food. Chef Laura, ( who is actually FROM Milan, thus, the name.. LOL) is an absolute perfectionist who puts her heart and soul into every dish. This is not a huge place, so she has the ability to oversee all items individually and the result is nothing short of spectacular. We had amazing starters like the Thin pizza with amazing crust and sauce and mozzarella dollops on top. Delicious baked Clams, Arancini, Burrata and others. Even the Bread is authentic and amazing. Veal Osso Buco entree was just perfect. Tender and Flavorful with incredible Saffron Risotto. Lobster Pasta with beautiful lobster tail and the most amazing sauce ( Like a rich lobster bisque, if it was made in Italy. LOL). Even the Desserts were amazing and authentic. ( Tiramisu and Cannolis). The other proprietor, also conveniently named Laura, is just amazing with the service and operations on the floor. She personally ensures that all guests are having the most amazing experience and brings her Italian Charm to the ambience of the dining room. Milano is like going to your Italian Nonna's house to get home cooked amazing food, IF your grandmother was a beautiful young lady from Milan who used the freshest and most delicious ingredients available. We had such an amazing meal at this amazing restaurant! Service was excellent and the food was spectacular! We started with burrata with prosciutto- it was probably the burrata I have ever had. For dinner I had the chicken and my colleague had the veal. The portions were perfect and the taste was delicious. The owner/chef came by and said hello to make sure all was well. Super sweet person. There's some very authentic Italian recipes here, people that care you won't be disappointed if I had to pick anything that was weak. We had always seen this restaurant at Town Square but had never tried it. We decided to change that. Note that they do take reservations, but unfortunately you cannot make them on their website as many restaurants allow. However, you can message them through Yelp. We did this, and they were very responsive. With a few messages the reservation was booked. The restaurant entrance is tucked away on the second floor very close to the AMC theater. They do have a small outdoor patio that overlooks the middle of the Town Square plaza. The interior is fairly small but is clean and well-kept. Unfortunately, they have no booth seating. As a result, dining does not have a terribly private feeling. The server was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout. Service was responsive and fast, and everything we ordered arrived in a very reasonable timeframe. I had the lemon spritz cocktail to start. It was very tasty and strong, and it was quite refreshing for a warm day. I followed that up later with a pleasant glass of Riesling. Unfortunately, soft drinks are served in cans rather than being poured from a soda fountain. This means no complimentary refills. Complimentary Italian bread and olive oil accompanies the meal. Delicious bread! Very fresh and tender inside with a nice crust. We tried the arancini starter. It was well-fried and crunchy outside with a tender interior. However, it had a LOT of risotto inside (a very thick layer) and very little of the filling which was supposed to be beef. Overall decent but not amazing. For my entree I had the branzino. Delicious! Wonderfully prepared, fresh, and tender with a light lemon sauce and very tasty and crispy fried artichokes. For desserts we tried both the Torta di Milano (basically a chocolate lava cake) and the tiramisu. Both were quite good. The Torta was a perfectly sized portion for one (or two if only wanting a few bites each) with a molten chocolate center. The tiramisu was uniquely presented in a large coffee mug, and it had a very robust coffee flavor. Both quite good! If I could give this place 10 stars I would! From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed. The hostess was lovely. And we were also greeted by co-owner, Laura. Our server Roberta was delightful. You could feel how she cares for her guests. The place is small, but we didn't feel crowded, we felt like we were dining in a home in Italy. We're visiting Las Vegas, but will recommend to our family that live here! For wine we had a bottle of the Super Tuscan, which was perfect with everything we ordered. The wine prices were very fair. The calamari appetizer was great. It has tentacles just the way my hubby likes and I had the special, Bressaola Bundle with carpaccio, arugula and parmigiana drizzle with balsamic. Delicious with the warm bread basket! Our entrees were the Salmon en crosta and the Signature dish, Cavatelli Frutti di Mare al Forno. Chef Laura came out from the kitchen and personally served it. She was so warm! We really felt like we were back in Italy! The location is away from the strip, so the prices were very good. And the portions were full sized. We have brunch already tomorrow with our leftovers! We had the cannoli for dessert which was also amazing! I absolutely recommend this place, especially if you've ever visited Italy. From the customer service to the chefs doing everything from scratch in the back you cannot go wrong. I learned today that Gorgonzola cheese is Italian blue cheese, which my spouse does not like. So, she was down to the bread, calamari, and lemon chicken she ordered. I had a pizza craving and the NOVARA was pretty good. They are personal size pizza's that could be your entire meal. It was pretty loud in here with the music and a large party of 10 or so. I heard a waitress yelling at an older group of four who had questions. The bread was good. The lemon chicken pasta was average.
