Took my mom for her birthday dinner. Everything was amazing the drinks, the food, and our waitress! It was a little loud for my mom but it was a Saturday evening in Town Square so it was also expected. Our waitress KRISTA was AMAZING! She was super nice, attentive, patient, she took the time to explain the menu and certain dishes. My mom to only eat Gluten-free. They have a Gluten-free menu which even better for us to dine there. Krista made sure to let my mom know if something in the dish may upset my mom's stomach like the dressing my mom's appetizer came with. She told her about the Gluten-free beer. Have also tried these for lunch: Fire cracker shrimp 5/5, fried calamari 4/5, boneless wings 4/5, parmesan truffle fries 5/5 and sweet potato fries 3/5, Korean BBQ cheesesteak 5/5. I really like the spicy jambalaya especially with jasmine rice. I don't recall the lobster garlic noodles same as before. We struck out going to one place looking for food so we came to a tried and true place. Yard house is a chain restaurant always packed, and I more or less detest chain restaurants. It's really impossible to fault much about Yard house though as their food is always surprisingly good on every occasion and location we've been to. The employees generally enjoy being here, or fake it really good which is nice. How can I complain about a joint that has a bunch of games on that is clean and moderately priced? We ended up picking The Yard House because the menu had something for everyone - and it was a good decision. The food was absolutely delicious - we snarfed it all down. The atmosphere was dark and loud - like any pub food place would be. One of my daughters struggled with the noise - she said it was "too loud" but it wasn't abnormal for a place like this. I will say the service is great cause they have a lot of staff, but there was a moment where I didn't have water for like 10 minutes. If it's busy, don't forget to join the waitlist online. I'm not sure if the square footage is the same for every Yard House restaurant but this one is pretty big. I may've been seated a minute or two before my Server visited my table. She spoke, I asked her name again cause there was a party of people on the opposite side of me that were really enjoying themselves (that's how loud they were lol). I was even smiling when they all would start laughing. I'm a fool for happiness and people just being in a happy head space...what can I tell ya. This is just ME and who I be lol. Forgive me for not being able to give her a special Yelp S/O. I can tell you that her personality was pleasant, she was friendly, attentive, and very nice. I was undecided on Steak or Pasta. Her recommendations were great. I went with the pasta, Lobster Garlic Noodles to be exact. My food came out in maybe 15-20 minutes time. I wasn't even complaining cause everything came out freshly prepared, hot, and delicious. I had big chunks of lobster, huge pieces of shrimp, shitake mushrooms, spinach, and parmesan cheese. This was my first time ever trying this particular pasta recipe and it was filling. I even had to ask for a 2GO container. I truly loved this dish. This place has always been a go to especially when we are in Town Square. Food has always been good and the happy hour is the great! Las night we have a big group of 16 including kids. To avoid the wait time we agreed to get the patio seating since its not that very cold, most tables are open and only one was occupied there but still ended up waiting for almost an hour because when they're about to seat us, they only set up the table for 11 adults and didnt counted the kids so that what made the wait longer, it took another 10-15 min wait and when we followed up they said they are waiting for a server. We eventually got seated. Our servers were great and that made it up for the long wait and got our food fast! For food we'd get the mushroom truffle pizza, calamari, and poke nachos. I do wish there were more poke and sauce in the nachos. As for the calamari I feel like I'm not getting any calamari and more breading. Service: Whenever we go it seems busy but our servers are always there and we never feel like we have to wait or call out to them. We decided to pick your house because they have a happy hour and decent portions with a regular size just half off prices. We got cocktails as well started off with the dragon fruit Cosmopolitan, which had a little kick, but the Tito's vodka wasn't too strong-it had a light flavor of fruit with a sliver of dried dragon fruit and we also got a vodka soda and I got the Yard sickle cocktail. Just think orange Creamsicle with a foamy cream top... it tasted like melted ice cream in the summer. Overall great service -we had actually had the manager "Mandy" serving us and she was by far one of the top tier hospitality people in the 10 years I've lived here in Las Vegas. We ordered the calamari and the carnivore pizza, and both came out impressively fast. The calamari portion does seem a bit smaller than it used to be, but it's still consistently delicious. The carnivore pizza, while cut a bit unevenly, was flavorful and loaded with a solid variety of meats. Our drinks showed up after about 7-8 minutes. We did notice that our server kept walking past our drinks without bringing them over a few times, but that kind of thing happens. We totally get it. When we arrived we were greeted right away and we didn't have to wait long for a table, just about 5 mins and we were seated. Bummer, Yardhouse use to be one of our go to restaurants when we couldn't figure out where to go. But recently they've been changing their menu and it's not as good as it use to be. They took away the miso seabass, so I found the Sweet and Spicy Shrimp Noodle (yum), they got rid of that, tried their new Pad Thai- yuck, way to much sauce, tasted too sour. So I tried the Steak Bowl, it was ok; so the next time I tried the Shrimp Bowl. I can't believe we paid 25$ for that, 6 Shrimp, hardly any rice or quinoa (felt like maybe 2 tablespoons worth), a bunch of veggies topped with a huge nest of shaved green onions to make it look bigger. I was still hungry, i had to steal some of my husbands fries. A couple of the apps are still good but that doesn't fill me. I was undecided on the beer i wanted and the serve had gotten me a flight of three beers based on what i told her i wanted, and i really appreciated the expertise on her part for know the menu well and what to recommend. The food is bar food so burgers and wings, on the higher end of the scale (which can sound odd, really, upscale bar food). The tablet paying method is also surprising with splitting the bill made easier for larger parties and honestly appreciated. The experience really shines through the service, even bringing a birthday cake for the table and were kind enough not to make it a spectacle by singing (the staff probably overheard us saying we are not a fan of that LOL). read more
