Casa Di Amore knocked it out of the park. Such a fun old-school Vegas atmosphere with live music, vintage Vegas photos all over the dining room, and a tiki bar out back. Our waiter Tony was fantastic. Super friendly, knew the menu, and timed everything perfectly. We started with mozzarella sticks, Caesar salad and the complimentary garlic bread, which was dangerously good. For dinner we had the Tortellini alla Pesto, Chicken Marsala, Gnocchi Alla Prosciutto with sausage, and Linguini Bolognese. Everything was excellent, but the Chicken Marsala was a standout. The chicken was incredibly moist, the sauce was delicious, and the pasta was cooked perfectly. We were celebrating my son's 26th birthday and finished with chocolate cake, gelato, cappuccinos, and a complimentary birthday cannoli. We made a reservation at Casa Di Amore, and I would definitely recommend doing the same if you're planning to visit for dinner. The restaurant was packed, and even with a reservation, we waited about 10 minutes for our table. The atmosphere was fantastic. They had live music, the whole room was lively, and everyone seemed to be enjoying the band. Our server was incredibly sweet and attentive and made the evening feel extra special. We started with the garlic bread, which was so cheesy and delicious that we finished it almost immediately. I ordered the Gypsy Pasta with fried chicken. Since I had never tried their famous Gypsy sauce before, our server kindly brought me a sample first and suggested I taste it before ordering. The sauce is a very spicy blend of chilies and has a bold, unique flavor that may not be for everyone, but I really enjoyed it. My husband ordered the chicken marsala with mashed potatoes, and he said it was one of the best versions he has ever had. My pasta was also delicious and unlike anything I had tried before. My only suggestion would be to use a little less Gypsy sauce, because the generous amount slightly overpowered the pasta and chicken. My parents love this place, so every time they come from Nebraska, I take them. My dad will always get a white sauce and seafood, and the frutti di mare did not disappoint. Their bolognese was fantastic. The only criticism is that there was a pool of oil in the bottom, but the flavor was delicious. My mom got a pink sauce penne and cheesecake (not pictured). The portions are huge, the prices are great, and one of the best parts about coming here is the service. We've never had a bad experience and hit this place up every time we are in town. There was a live solo piano player who sang classics. My wife said he could have sang with a little more emotion. However, you cannot find a better waiter than Stephan who was super attentive and exceedingly friendly. The menu was pretty substantial ranging from various pastas to steaks and chops to sandwiches. The prices seemed reasonable, matching the moderately upscale venue. But you would be hard pressed to find better tasting food. I attached some pictures of the food. We all loved the calamari appetizer. It was superb. My wife loved her linguini bolognes and my daughter her wings. I had veal parmagian - yummy, yummy. This places environment was one of the coolest I have ever seen. The theme of Italian Tiki is extremely unique and I had never seen it before. All the seats at the bar had slot games for those to play while dining/drinking. My service here also was great, I was helped by Debbie and she did a great job. When they mention "Vegas the way it used to be" it is absolutely right! The food: classical Italian staples like cioppino, lasagna, chicken marsala and veal at an affordable price point. I've had the eggplant parm and spaghetti, and they are both flavorful and robust. Not to mention, the portions are very generous! You can easily share a plate with 1-2 other people. Service: excellent! The servers have worked here for years, so you know they have pacing down to a science. Drink orders were taken right away. Then warm bread is served. Apps are dropped with time to digest a little before the meal. Servers check in without being overbearing. The entertainment also makes for an unforgettable experience. They sing the classics and encourage the cowed to join. It feels like your home, or at least visiting Nona's Sunday dinner. What I love about supporting this place is that they explain why tiki culture is popular with Italians. I had no clue. When I saw a tiki bar attached to the restaurant, I just thought it was a gimmick, but after reading about it, I thought it was the coolest thing. I love how they preserve this unique collaboration and influence of Polynesian culture. Also, my hubby is a big fan of the Jersey Shore. We had to check it out since they filmed there several times. They have an old-school Vegas feel interior (think like "Casino" the movie) and entertainment/performers for dinner on weekends, I believe. We always get the Steamers (clams) for an appetizer with a white wine sauce. So good. The broth is liquid gold and pairs so well with the bread. Their pasta dishes are all good & hubby was so excited to see they have Veal on the menu because we haven't been able to find it anywhere here since our trip to Italy. We got it with Parmigiana and my goodness, it was very good. Shrimp and crab ravioli was generous portion and loved the sauce. Crème Brûlée dessert was good. Loved it. Restrooms are fairly clean. We made a reservation for 6 and I was disappointed that the most comfortable booth for 6 had just had a party of three people sat down and we were shoved into a smaller both. Poor planning especially for a reservation made a month ago. I told the hostess before we sat that it was both an anniversary and birthday celebration for the couple to be surprised by the entertainment but the waitress blabbed it out first thing. Then she started telling us how a second basket of bread would be extra before we even ordered....poor form. After I called out what she was doing she quickly got the hint. This place had incredible pasta and steak. I got the filet mignon and the meat was excellent quality and cooked to perfection. I get my steak medium or medium rare (the only ways i steak should be cooked). My sister and mom got different pastas. The pastas were incredible too. My sister got the lasagna (which was a standout) and my mom got the fettuccine alfredo (also delicious). Their appetizers are also delectable, especially their garlic bread, calamari, and lamb chops. As a 52 year Las Vegas native, we love this place. But if you're there on a busy night, prepare to hear happy birthday sung over and over. In time that we were there, we probably heard it seven times. It's honestly too much. He's such a talented artist, and you barely get to hear him sing anything else. I love a birthday moment too, but it became very annoying. The food, of course, is outstanding. The sautéed mushrooms are a standout, and the tiramisu as well. Mushroom Risotto: super rich and creamy - the mushrooms on top were well sauted and seasoned. Beet and Feta: my wife's favorite! The pecans and square cut feta made the dish. I'm not the a huge fan of beets but these were tasty. Eggplant Parm: top three eggplant parm dishes in Vegas! The eggplant was crispy and well layered with sauce and cheese. The spaghetti on the side was surprisingly flavorful and paired well. Vegetarian Pizza: can't go wrong here - well made pizza and zero complaints. I appreciate not getting raked over the coals here. The complementary bread was not an afterthought, rather was completely irresistible. I simply loved the veal osso bucco with risotto. Honestly, I found the appetizer portion to be substantial for me. The $12 Caesar salad is large enough for a family of four. While there is no kids menu, I appreciate the server suggesting that my daughter could have a half portion of the spaghetti and meatballs. I called in advance just to make sure we could snag a table and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and told us to just come on down with our party of 4.One of the great things about this place is they are open until 4am-pretty helpful with some of those late nights that seem to happen when in Vegas. When you walk into this spot,it's almost like walking back in time,feels very old school Vegas,with pictures on the walls featuring Vegas in its glory days,and the cutest old school piano player setting the vibe in the main dining room. As far as food goes,we went with a fried ravioli appetizer for the table.We went with Linguine Bolognese,which was a very tasty dish,the linguine was cooked perfectly and the New York Strip featured meat sauce was great blend of seasonings.Next we went with the Chicken Parmigiana dish,featuring a well textured breaded chicken cutlet with just the right amount of melted cheese over their classic Spaghetti Marinara-we all as a group thoroughly enjoyed the chicken cutlet.Lastly I kinda shocked the group and ordered a Meat Lovers pizza for the table,let me tell ya,not sure if it's underrated or overrated but that pizza was great,their crust had a wonderful buttery flavor that hit just right with each bite-truly enjoyed it!! This made it difficult for everyone to communicate and had our party yelling over the party that was sat in the middle of us. We have been here a few times in the past several years and always enjoy it. They provide a shuttle to hotels but you need to book that early as it fills fast. We love the ambience. All the changing photos on the walls of hotels and the Rat Pack. Service is always friendly and phenomenal. I've not had a bad meal here and portions are nice sized.
