Las Vegas has no shortage of restaurants, but Gaetano's has proven over the years that consistency never goes out of style. I ordered the swordfish, and it was absolutely outstanding--perfectly prepared, flavorful, and one of the best seafood dishes I've had in a long time. The rest of our meal was equally impressive. Our server deserves a special mention. He was attentive without hovering, funny without trying too hard, and seemed to know everything there is to know about "all things Gaetano's." Great service always elevates a meal, and he certainly did. The atmosphere is one of my favorite things about Gaetano's. You can celebrate a special occasion in a sport coat or enjoy dinner in nice Vegas shorts and a Tommy Bahama shirt and feel equally at home. It's elegant without being pretentious. Oh... and did I mention the bread? Let's just say my plan to "eat light" ended the moment the bread basket hit the table. I blame Gaetano's entirely. The red sauce that they serve with the calamari, I could seriously drink by itself... Get a extra side of the sauce for dipping bread. Its truly amazing. I've had wild boar before, but this one is packed full of flavor. It almost knocked me out of my seat when I took a bite. Prepare it perfectly. We were supposed to only have a bite or so of dessert and take the rest home. But we almost licked the plates clean. I highly recommend getting both of these. Our server was amazing. After living in Henderson for 15 years, I can't believe we haven't been here before. After reading some reviews, we decided to check it out. We started with drinks, they even have a nice mocktail list for those who don't drink. I do wish they sold Coke products, probably my biggest complaint. The complimentary bread was very good. We ordered the calamari, it was just ok. A little chewy for my liking. Next time we will try something different. For our entree we ordered two of their specials. I forgot the name of the seafood special, but it came with scallops, oysters, shrimp, fish ontop of a bed of homemade noodle with a slightly spicy tomato sauce. Very very good. We also ordered the pappardelle fileto. This was one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had. Very tender filet and mushrooms mixed in homemade noodles. They had a very nice dessert menu as well as cappuccino. I recommend the tiramisu. Arnaldo was our server. 10 out of 10 on service. We can't wait to go back and try more dishes. read more

I'll just get to the point. Best Italian food I have ever had. It was so good that we brought home the leftovers and ate them for the next two days. I never do that. We did make a reservation for a Friday night at around 7 PM. It was completely packed. Just a warning it is loud. There is valet parking. Our waiter was Jake and he made our experience five stars. He had a lot of recommendations and we took them all. To start we had the mozzarella sticks. Delicious. For my meal I had the risotto which had a pesto sauce and sausage. Probably one of my top five dishes in my life. It was just as good when I had it for leftovers the next day. My spouse had the chicken Parm. He loved it, but could not even get close to finishing it. We also had one of the raviolis which had a brown sauce and peas on top. Also delicious. Jake surprised me with tiramisu for my birthday. It was so delectable. What a beautifully owned family restaurant/business. My family and I have been coming to Gaetano's for over ten years and every experience is special and absolutely worth it. The service is always impeccable. Every person from the staff I have interacted with has been nothing but beyond generous and helpful. This is the second time that our family has eaten in this restaurant. The restaurant itself is very beautiful, however, the front entryway is very tiny and can get overcrowded and stuffy fast. We had reservations, but we were a little bit early. We checked in with the hostess, who told us it would be a few minutes. About six other families walked in after us and we're all seated before us because they had reservations as well. The hostess didn't even realize who we were and asked us if we wanted to check in again. I thought she was quite rude and I let her know. She informed us that we are not the only ones who need to be seated. I did notice that there were plenty of tables and we very well could've been seated easily. The restaurant was not booked out. With that said, our server was very nice. He was very attentive and very fast. For dinner I had the veal marsala, which was excellent very tender. My son had spaghetti and meatballs and he enjoyed that as well. My husband had the Bolognese and he thought it was just OK. The staff was very accommodating and brought us a sweet little treat after our dinner was over to make up for the hostesses rude behavior. We appreciated that. Another mention, the parking lot is a terrible mess. Please valet your car. There is nowhere to park and a lot of the parking spaces are only 15 minutes for the other businesses around. Gaetanos has been my son's favorite restaurant for years and we had not been in for quite some time. I was excited/ happy to see our favorite bartender, Becky, was still there. Ordering took awhile but it was quite busy and there was a medical emergency they were dealing with so we understood. I ordered the seafood cioppino special made with gluten free pasta and it was so much food that even with my husband helping me we left a lot on the plate. Hahaha. My husband had the black truffle pasta as he loves truffles. He didn't leave a bite left so I assume it was delicious! My son ordered his usual..spaghetti and meat balls. My only complaint is it gets so loud in the dining area that it is next to impossible to old a conversation with your table mates. Not sure what the fix or solution would be but it is something to Consider if going on a work dinner etc. read more

First time visit. Arnaldo was my server; knowledgeable, charismatic, made me feel at home. Ambiance was classic modern Italian, and I came in 45 mins before close (8:15m). Dining room was 2/3 full and people were still coming in after I was seated. They do have valet parking as an option if you have mobility challenged party members. Entrance to dining room is one continuous level with no stairs, for those that look for that info, making it wheelchair accessible. Also surprised to see half bottles of wine at reasonable prices. I went for a half bottle of Chianti, as I love a good table wine. It was a 2021 Nozzole, which perfectly complemented the food, even though the starter would normally pair with a white. I am a wine heathen, but at the same time Chianti pairs with anything. Arnaldo was super knowledgeable about wine pairing selections, which again denotes a level of care and passion that translates into a great meal. 17 year veteran of Italian fine dining. Bread offering had variety and was authentic Italian dipping of balsamic vinegar and olive oil with four fresh baked selections of bread, all delicious. Starter - went for the shrimp scampi. While I personally would have liked some angel hair pasta with it instead of the fried shoestring potatoes on first glance, I will say they added a textural variation I wasn't expecting. Nice start. Arnaldo did let me know that in the future if the angel hair pasta was what I craved, the scampi main comes paired with exactly that. Staff does extra touches; waiters that weren't assigned to my section kept my wine full and checked in often. Props to the front of house manager/staff. For main, O went with the risotto of the day, which Ronaldo highly recommended. My normal go to is chicken or veal Marsala; but he recommended that day's risotto as his absolute favorite, so I took the recommendation. It was a creamy pistachio pesto risotto. I have never had - or even seen - a pesto risotto, so I thought it would be interesting. The risotto was cooked perfectly, with the nutty pistachio blending extremely well with the pesto. The sausage was mild, so it did get lost flavor wise, but texturally gave some differentiation that the dish needed to work. The kitchen staff's love shone through on this one and I was really pleasantly surprised. It was earthy, woodsy, creamy and the sausage gave it a hint of smokiness. Would recommend although YMMV since they cycle out risottos daily. I should also mention that the portion size was about 1.5 times what I was expecting, so you'll have leftovers if you're going for dessert. I've included a photo of the dessert menu as it's not on their Google Photos; Renaldo highly suggested if I was going to go gelato, to do the pistachio tortufo, but also recommended the tiramisu as best in town. I went that direction since I had a pistachio main. He also gave me a dessert espresso amuse bouche gratis that was fantastic. As someone who has been to Italy multiple times and taken classes - in Italy - to make tiramisu, I can say the claim is not bravado. They do put chocolate sauce on the plate - which isn't necessary, but the tiramisu is classic, creamy, decadent and I believe it to be the best I've had in the city proper.the ladyfingers prove JUST the right consistency and texture to break up the rest of the layers. Staggeringly good. Receipt included - 119 for a full, excellently executed Italian mid fine dining experience per person - off strip - is extremely reasonable before tip. I attended a party where the host ordered Gaetano's for catering and was blown away by how good the food was. I knew I needed to dine in and try more of their menu so I made reservations for dinner. The restaurant is located in a plaza off of Eastern Ave in Henderson and offers valet or self parking. The restaurant was quite busy and the noise was moderate. It's definitely a popular spot and they seem to have plenty of repeat guests. The owner stops by each table and has amazing hospitality. They offer weekly specials in addition to their regular menu and have a nice happy hour. I ordered an Italian Pink Lemonade after our server suggested it. It was a refreshing hand crafted cocktail. For appetizers, we ordered the meatballs and shrimp scampi. They were excellent dishes to start off our meal alongside the bread basket with oil and vinegar. For entrees, we ordered the specials of that weekend that included the Papardelle Fileto and Mixed Grill. The Papardelle Fileto was such a tasty pasta dish. I would order this every time they offer it because it's that good. The Mixed Grill was a nice serving of lamb chops, filet, and Italian sausage with mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach. For dessert, we ended our meal with a scoop of lemon sorbet. It was the perfect refreshing and light ending to our meal. Gaetano's has earned a spot on my top Italian restaurants in Vegas. We went to Gaetano's for an early Valentine's dinner, and it had been a while since our last visit. It was so nice to be back! We started with the fried artichoke hearts served with lemon aioli. They were perfectly crisp and packed with flavor -- a great way to kick off the meal. I ordered the four-cheese ravioli with pistachio pesto. The ravioli were fresh and pillowy, filled with creamy, cheesy goodness, and the nutty pistachio pesto brought everything together beautifully. Absolutely delicious! My husband chose the homemade gnocchi with Bolognese. He usually compares every restaurant's gnocchi to my homemade version... and I have to admit, this one might have been even better. Broke a fast to come here. SO worth it! 5+ stars to Beto and his team! I did a reservation through OpenTable but the night we went it wasn't as busy but I'll still take the OT points. It's like this little hidden gem. Where I used to go to B Dubs and only really see that and the energy it takes up. This place is like a hidden garden opening to old world Italy. We were promptly greeted and sat. Service was only dimmed by the food. We asked for water w gas and were off to the races, never wanting for a thing! I even thought my water was getting low, a second or two later my glass was full again. There was 2-3 people helping Beto with our service. For reverse hh you have to order a mock/cocktail. I did the faux champs and woman did the margarita. The margarita was beautiful in presentation and tasted good, but my favorite was the faux bubbles. I stopped drinking mock type drinks shortly after ditching alcohol. Most are riddled with sugar and a waste of calories. This actually tasted like bubbles wo the alcohol. Didn't try to be overly sweet or something it wasn't. Fabulous! I've looked at this menu for some time. I knew from jump I wanted mozzarella sticks so I ordered those immediately. Calamari's usually a winner so we agreed on that too. Entrees took a bit longer. I appreciate the robust offerings for 50% off! Such a deal. I was torn between the boar ragu, the eggplant speciality and the chicky parm. Beto suggested the parm and I get it now. Woman had the eggplant. The mozzy sticks were SO good! If I'm honest they could've been a little hotter but the flavors and sauce went together so well! I kept the plate to dip the bread in the sauce! Then the calamari came, piping hot, tasty, they got better with time! The bread and evoo/balsamic was amazing. The evoo they use is phenomenal! It's robust and flavorful. How you imagine olive oil tasting. The menu shared the story of Gaetano, how he actually grew a big following in Calabasas before this place. Since his passing in 19, his youngest son runs it and I think it's phenomenal! Honestly between drinks, fuzzy water, two apps and bread - we were getting full. Then the entrees came! Beto had that parm and I said I'm never saying when! That was truly the best chicken parm I've had. I'm not sure if it was the sauce or batter, all the cheese didn't hurt, but it was out of this world. The pasta wasn't as amazing, the chick was definitely the star! I tried the eggplant, it was good, but had nothing on my chicken. This is the type of place that boxes your food. I always appreciate that. Beto boxed the rest of our calamari, bread + evoo/balsamic and of course our entrees. My only concern was the use of plastic with warm/hot foods. I left my food out overnight (airs on) the pasta tasted like the tomatoes went bad. I put it in the fridge and the next day, same, so I tossed it but the chicken never lost any flavor or deliciousness from that first bite. Bathroom was clean, staff was amazing, truly. Usually woman has a gripe somewhere in our service. That night you left her speechless. That's ridiculously hard to do. Hats off to everyone involved in the experience. We stopped by on for a quick mother's day lunch with reservations booked via OpenTable. Gaetano's did great... My mother (and I noticed all mothers walking in) were delightfully greeted Happy Mother's Day upon entry. We were seated immediately and our main server introduced himself and we were off. His helper was great with keeping all our drinks fresh and the kitchen sent our dishes to the table quickly on a busy day. Spaghetti Carbonara - Great serving size and half of it had to be taken home. Chicken Parmesan - My nephew cleaned his plate off quickly Rigatoni Vodka with chicken - this was my entree, and it was fantastic. The pasta and sauces were fresh. Creme Brulee - a classic dessert done well Spumoni - was shaped like a cut of Ice cream cake and it was great. That's something I haven't seen before The open dining area is very classy with tall ceilings for a great look. The tables and chairs were all new and contemporary. The servers were sharply dressed and I appreciated the manager working the room, greeting diners at the tables and asking how their meals were coming along. We've wanted to visit Gaetano's for ages and just couldn't get the timing right - we stopped in for reverse happy hour and we enjoyed every minute! Becky the bartender was so kind and entertaining with great conversation and was so happy to serve us even though it was late. We enjoyed our dinner and bread, and then the star of the show was the after dinner complimentary hot drink - it was a mix of espresso, amaretto, idk the rest or if that's even right but my gosh it was so delicious! This review is based on a first-time visit on 2/12/25. My husband and I wanted to go a nice neighborhood restaurant for a low-key birthday celebration. Fortuitously, Wednesdays happen to be "Wine Wednesdays" which means bottles are 50% off. Score! We were ravenous and proceeded to order the following items: 1. Veal Ossobuco: this was an incredible dish. The meat was so SOOO flavorful and tender. No knife needed. It came alongside a nice hunk of bone chock full of unctuous bone marrow, which I mixed into the sauce and ate with the perfectly-cooked risotto, perfumed with saffron. I typically don't tend to order the same thing more than once, but can certainly see myself ordering this one again and again. 2. Kurobuta pork chop: this was a daily special and boy was it special! It was suuuuper thick double bone chop, and came with a lovely butter-based sauce and butternut squash ravioli. 3. Dessert: the restaurant sent out a piece of their tiramisu for the birthday boy. It was probably the best tiramisu I've ever had, no joke. We also ordered the Torta Della Nonna was beautifully lemony, peppered with fat juicy blueberries. We loved our dinner here, and will definitely plan to come back for another dinner soon - probably on a Wednesday. 10/10 recommend! read more

Best Italian I've ever had. Hands down. Side note I used to work for the number 1 Italian deli in the country accounting to Zagat reviews. Im so blown away by this place Im just going to start from when I walked through the door. As I walked in it was an attractive restaurant that was clean and packed with people. We were a few minutes early for our reservation so I figured as busy as it was there would be a little wait. Nope, right to our table the friendly hostess took us. Sat down, looked at the menu had a few things that caught my eye. My standard first visit to an Italian restaurant I always get the chicken parm. It's a standard dish pretty much every place has and it's not complicated so if it isn't good, I know what to expect. (Gaetano's chix parm was great but I'll get to that). I believe our server's name was Jake (if Im wrong Im sorry. Im bad w names), he was polite, friendly, very knowledgeable about the menu and had very articulate descriptions of the dishes. This guy was aces. Knew the bar, the menu, I mean really really good. The food. My God the food. I got the chicken parm, well executed, cooked to perfection and the breading was perfect. As I had mentioned we had a few things that caught our eye. We don't often do this but we got three entrees because we wanted to try so many things. I wish I could recall the name of the dish, it was one I had not heard of before and Jake said it was his favorite. Wasn't exactly a tortellini wasn't exactly a ravioli. I'll call it due to my ignorance a kind of Italian dumpling (no it wasn't gnocchi). When it came out there were several of these dumplings in a brown gravy topped with bacon or some delicious crumbled pork whatever it was and peas. I HATE peas. I tried it anyway. I do not know what magic they used but they made peas delicious. Not only did they complement the dish but whatever seasonings they used in the gravy complemented the peas. I sat there in stunned silence. I couldn't believe how delicious this meal was. This will likely be my go to meal going forward. Dessert great, wine great, overall experience WOW! My good friend moved to Vegas and she heard great things about this place, so when I came to Vegas we decided to try it out. Let me preface this by saying that my standard for Italian food is NYC which is where I'm from. We are super spoiled in New York with Italian food. Gaetano's is in a strip mall but is decorated lovely and has a high end feel. The servers were attentive, professional, and the environment was really nice. To start we had fried artichoke hearts which we all enjoyed. I had the linguine with vongole, which was really good, and also had a house salad, which I also enjoyed. One of my friends had the Cacio E Pepe, and one of my other friends had the Pappardelle with filet mignon which I think was a special. You can tell the pasta is Quality, it is homemade tasting and really pairs well with the sauces. We all enjoyed our meals, and would definitely come back. Next time we would like to try dessert, but the server got a big party and took about 20 minutes to come back to us, and we had to go catch a show so we didn't get to have dessert, but the menu selection looked yummy. Loved loved loved! We had a little Tuesday date night and picked this place and so glad we did. My meal was delicious! We did make a reservation, but it wasn't busy when we got there. It's lit very nicely inside and is pretty open. Our service was absolutely wonderful! Started with drinks and everyone was very attentive. For drinks, I ordered a peach bellini and my husband an old-fashioned. We ordered the fried artichoke hearts as an appetizer and I got the spaghetti carbonara for my main. I was debating between that, the Alfredo, the Cacio y Pepe, and the Bolognese. We of course started with bread, 3 different kinds, and olive oil and balsamic vinegar mix. Very good bread! The artichoke hearts were good as well, and it came with an anchovy aioli. Now, the pasta! Sooooo good. The guanciale in it, OMG! I tend to pick around the meat because it can be fatty, but the way they charred that meat I died it was so good. I wanted to finish that whole thing so bad because carbonara doesn't always reheat well, but I couldn't do it. I loved it so much, I also got a tiramisu to go. When I finally ate it later that night, delicious. I was so glad I got it. I had a bite of my husband's rigatoni alla vodka and that was also very tasty. If I could give this place more stars I would. I absolutely loved every bite of food I had and the pasta was probably the best I've had. Ok so just to start, service is excellent. Really really incredible service, the 4 stars is mostly bc of their cioppino. Came here with my family while visiting Vegas and we had the zucca ravioli, papperdelle, carbonara, cacio de Pepe, the gnocchi w the pesto sauce (BY FAR MY FAV W THE RAVIOLI) and the osso bucco along w the cioppino lol. Everything was amazing. Except for the cioppino. Maybe it's just their style compared to mine i make at home lol but i really hated it and it had noodles in it. So i def rec everything else on the menu, but totally skip the cioppino. If I wasn't with my family I would've asked their chef for a cioppino off like iron chef style bc that's how confident I am in mine vs theirs. It was just a weird bowl for me. I was not a fan of the noods in there. Was not a fan of their broth, it lacked a lot of flavor. I also was not into the octopus addition. TL:DR - all food was delicious, service was great, with professional wait staff (hi Angel!, atmosphere classy and great. Party of 5 came in for early dinner on a Friday night. The location is like a neighborhood eatery, but it's much classier inside with tablecloths. Valet parking is available but seems weird in a shopping center parking lot (could get very busy, I suppose). The inside ambiance is warm and friendly. The tables had those rechargeable LED lamps that added a nice glow. It wasn't too noisy when we got there, but it did get noisier later (but in a good way). Our waiter Angel was great. He got all our orders correct without writing them down and had them delivered correctly too. Kudos! The starter bread basket was divine. Warm bread, and different types as well. We had the calamari appetizer and a special portobello mushroom appetizer as well. Both were excellent. Great taste on the mushroom one, with the cheese and sauce. We ordered 2 of the special wild mushroom soups to share with the 4 of us. We asked for 4 spoons, but they actually split the 2 soups into 4 bowls for us. That is great service!! The soup was also spectacular, wonderful creamy flavor. Entrees (all portions were large) - all pasta was great and tasted freshly made: - The pasta with sausage was good. The sausage was perfect, not hard. - My pappardelle cinghiale (wild boar) was fantastic. Meat was very tender. - The lasagne was perfect, yummy. - The eggplant rollatine was also yummy. Dessert: - NY cheesecake. I haven't had cheesecake like this, with the sour cream layer on top, in ages. It was great! - The creme brulee was good, but the only nit was the center of it was slightly too cold. Otherwise, the custard was smooth, and the sugar was perfectly crunchy. Sad to have to update my review because I really like this place and used to recommend it to everyone as my favorite Italian in Vegas but I was really upset by my last experience where I got a to go order of fettuccine alfredo and calamari and despite it being a very pricey meal, the lady charged me because I asked for grated parmesan which is included with the meal for dine in. It felt very "nickle and dimey" and petty to me. I also wasnt given silverware, the normal friendly customer service vibe wasn't there, and the food wasnt as good as it used to be for me. Im not writing this place off because I really used to love their food, but this experience really didn't sit well with me. read more

If you are in Henderson this is a must try dinner spot. Let start off with the service as it was phenomenal. Our waiter was very polite and greeted our table as soon as we walked in. Then he went over with us the menu and was very knowledgeable of the speciality items. Our water was always filled curiosity of the dining room attendant. We even had the chef bring out the speciality dish we ordered which was a Cillapino. About amazing seafood pasta. Gaetano's does italian food the right way and is deliciously seasoned, savory, sweet and a party of flavors in each bite. I really enjoyed the fun in a room set up as it had every plate you needed and more. Especially as with every dish the sever gives you a fresh new plate so you can really soak up all the flavors from every dish. Almost great atmospheric lighting for a nice calm dinner. read more

Fantastic food, possibly the best Italian food we've had in 20 years since moving from NY. We ordered salad, chicken parm, and home made pasta + the softest, freshest bread, and it was enough for 2 full dinners for 6 people. It was high quality food and great presentation. We're so glad we finally decided to try somewhere different and Gaetano's is officially our new favorite spot for happy hour! The service is outstanding, the food is delicious, and the drinks are some of the best we've had. You can truly tell they value their regular as the bartenders know their customers' orders and often have drinks ready as soon as they walk in.
