The office has been completely unreachable for billing. They billed my insurance incorrectly and I get text and email reminders constantly to pay my "outstanding balance". I have left many messages over the course of months and have not heard back from them. Still unresolved. Leaving this review solely because of their office staff and lack of professionalism. Made an appointment a week ago, attempted to fill out the pre-appointment forms but because I didn't have my dental insurance card wouldn't let me finish. Day of the appointment they begin blowing up my phone, called and texted them back letting them know I didn't have the insurance card but have the information for them. They let me know it would be $125 charge because they had been "trying to reach me for weeks". Not sure how that's even possible considering I only made the appointment exactly a week ago. The girl became argumentative and rude. My family owns a dental practice in another state and this is not at ALL a normal practice to demand payment even though a patient has insurance. Once again I am updating my review. I cannot seem to rid myself of this practice. I have not set foot in their business since my initial encounter. I felt that I was very gracious in my patience with them after the initial incident and was grateful for the opportunity to speak with the manager. Well, since then, I have just received my FOURTH bill for nearly $200 of services that I never received. Each previous time I have called the office, they confirmed it was a mistake on their end and the charge was either removed or confirmed to be taken care of and I was told to ignore it. I'm very patient with businesses- no one likes a Karen- but now that we are over a year out and I am STILL dealing with this after everything else, my patience has run out and I am updating my review to one star as this is just ridiculous. I have contacted Station Dental yet again to get the latest charge resolved. All I wanted was my teeth cleaned. Who knows if I will ever be free of them, so help me. read more

This practice is the reason I now have a fear of dentists. The hygienists are not well trained (they fill fillings, x-ray, perform cleanings, etc.). I had eleven cavities found & treated here, one needing a crown. The dental assistant/hygienist dropped the permanent crown while trying to place it, and I nearly choked on the crown. Luckily I reacted in time, and I sat up quickly to cough it up. The assistant quietly apologized with a slight "sorry". I ended up needing three root canals (one on the crowned tooth and two on two of the tooth they filled cavities on), and I am still working through pain on two other teeth they worked on 6 months later. October 2024 Aurora Office - STATION DENTAL STAY AWAY. My Front crown fell off in 4 HOURS. I've had this crown replaced over 3 decades and never did it pop off like a chiclet. Ever. Dr. D and 2 dental techs put in my crowns (took over an hour). The 2nd crown was cemented, but I noticed they let the cement dry considerably before pressing it on. It came off like it was secured with toothpaste and a wish. Human beings - Don't go near this place. Do not piss away your insurance benefits on gross negligence and possibly malicious people messing with your smile. I paid for everything at the initial appointment along with a rush on the crowns, so I didn't have to extend my benefits. $1300. Details: BS from jump - my teeth took 2 weeks to arrive (YES, after I paid for a rush). The office blamed the lab. We live in a world of instant crowns - so this was nonsense. They also gave me AustinPowers yellow front temps for the duration. Pick another dentist, NOW. I found a new one and he corrected the tooth in minutes with a few simple actions. Lastly, after telling me everything was paid, Station sent me a past due bill for $45. (Insert middle finger here) I've texted and emailed them asking what this is for and advised them of their failed service - NO response. I already disputed the charges, but we all know how far that will go. Save yourself the time/energy/$$$$. read more

Watch out for these guys! The clinical providers are very nice and competent, but billing department is dishonest. DO NOT agree to any services without consulting your insurance first. I received a crown that my insurance says is a covered benefit, but did not pay because SDG did not provide requested documentation. My insurance says my responsibility is zero, however billing department never contacted me and then a year later, took my payment for another service and applied it to this service instead and continues to bill me despite my insurance telling them in a 3 way conversation, including myself, that I am not responsible for any portion of the bill, as per the contract SDG has with my provider. There are similar complaints to Better Business Bureau, so I am not a one-off. Needless to say I will seek my care elsewhere and so should you! read more

I've been hunting for new dentist for years - one that I can settle in with, who will help me take exemplary care of the teeth I'm fastidious about in my day to day life, and who will help guide my at home care in a fashion that will help me keep my teeth as I age, and whose service will provide the maintenance that enables all of that. This process has been consistently infuriating for me as getting the care I want has always come with an inability to plan out it out financially. I seem to have resolved that problem. I am beyond happy with Station Dental Aurora. I came in with some distress. My dentist patiently talked me through my concerns, and then returned my smile to a state it hadn't been in months. He answered my questions, and provided feedback on my at home care. Moreover, Station's office staff ran my insurance proactively and gave me no-pressure estimates with choices on where my care needed to go next so that I can plan financially. Everyone in this office is so kind but that is their only good quality I've had crowns crack and break in less than a year They disrespected my wishes to be number during extraction and had to go through an immense amount of pain They also gave me 2 failed bone graft surgery's, I had to get my third done by a different doctor who said that they had caused infection and so much other damage to the site due to cheap sutures and cheap practices I don't ever want anyone reading an instruction manual on how to perform something on an open wound in my mouth in front of me Overall they made me feel like the doctors were learning how to do this procedure on me. Horrible experience and I wish I never came here. In 2019 I chipped a tooth and when I came in and got it fixed (mind you this took almost the whole day, it was a ridiculous amount of time) they told me I had to get root canal on two teeth. Fast forward.. failed root canal, got sepsis, ended up losing tooth, and my bill I got from them was extremely high. Like others have stated, this place seems to just be after money. Former patient of 3 years. Station Dental canceled on my husband and me three times this last month. The first was because they switched to a different day for routine cleanings. Ok. The second was due to office illness. Legit. So, we've been patient and understanding, but today they texted me saying, "To avoid cancellation charge, text back to confirm." I texted to confirm, but they also sent the text to my husband who could not respond because he was at work. They texted him hours later saying his appointment was canceled. I called within twenty minutes, and they'd already given the slot to someone else. We've never missed an appointment, and it's never been communicated to us that we'd need to speak to someone in office to confirm. Who contacts every doctor's office when they get an appointment reminder?! It's a ridiculous new policy. They gave us 4 hours to confirm and then canceled. We've never canceled on them. We taken several days off work so we could get our teeth cleaned, all for naught. They told us they have a long waitlist, so I suppose business is booming and they're not worried about losing patients. So go find somewhere else with a better reception staff. read more

They will "find" cavities that do not actually exist, then over-drill your teeth leaving you with permanent sensitivity problems, then do a terrible job with the filling, then over-bill your insurance, and leave you footing a steep price - far higher than you would have paid out of pocket at an honest and reputable dentist. At 29, best experience I've ever had at a dental office, every time, without exaggeration. Clearly this place is doing something right with training and hiring, because the staff is competent, compassionate and efficient. Stacey and her team are the best! I told them about my history with anxiety and nausea at the dentist the first visit and since then they make it a point to check in throughout every visit to make sure I'm comfortable and get small breaks as needed. They also are very accommodating with nitrous as needed on days where I wake up and my head thinks things are worse than there are without rational triggers. I'm so lucky to have found Dr. Miller and all of the lovely ladies that work here. The work needed on my mouth has been extensive, yet from the beginning, they were very clear in helping me formulate a plan of care that would best work with my schedule and my finances. In the past few weeks since finding this gem, I have gotten numerous fillings and a crown, all which have been done beautifully. The staff really makes you feel like family, and due to their scheduling system, I have always gotten seen upon arrival. This office is very conscious about keeping the facility sanitized, and they check and screen every patient that walks through the door. If you need any work done, Dr. Miller knows what she is doing, is very honest about care options, and provides top-level services. Probably the worst experience I have ever had at a dentist. They charged me 70$ for a cleaning and quoted me $200 for deep cleaning. The only nice person was the hygienist. It was obvious all they were after was money. The doctor was a complete bitch. She talked down to me and honestly was disgusting when explaining stuff, and so were all the associates. They made me wait over 2 hours and were so inconsiderate. If you want to save money and not be ripped off please go somewhere else. I feel bad Aaron the hygienist even has to work at such a miserable place because he is the only nice person there. I will never return here and never recommend my friends here. When I came in, they had me sign a treatment plan. They didn't explain that the services insurance didn't cover were optional. I felt like I was drowning through the cleaning because the hygienist didn't suck the water that built up out of my mouth frequently enough--it poured out of my mouth a couple of times. While she was cleaning she also put her hands in my mouth and then on my face. When I finally got to my car (after a 90+ min appt. that was just a cleaning and check up), I had dried toothpaste all over my face. Have been here several times with no problems previously so I don't know what the problem is now, but I won't be back to find out. read more

Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Station Dental Aurora. Because I advocated for my own health and wellbeing and did not want xrays when I did not have any problems with my teeth, I was told not to come back. I was called by the Office Manager to inform me that if I did not get the xray they would discontinue their services. This is a breach of my health privacy rights. I was bullied and pressured and I believe that I experienced malicious intent on two occasions because I did not want extra exposure to xrays. I have never met the new doctor who would have been responsible for my care. The comment by Miranda stating based on the dentists visual exam is untrue. read more

Be cautious. In their treatment plan they will offer you a lot of optional treatments (extra numbing, herbal mouth rinse, deeper cleanings etc) that insurance doesn't cover, which is fine on paper. The issue is how they handle people who don't want all the extras- like me. My insurance covered everything essential (cleaning, fillings) and I was very clear on what nonessential services I was willing to pay out of pocket for and what I did not want done. They acknowledged this and then proceeded to do things I hadn't agreed to anyway without making it clear what they were doing. This showed up on my bill and I was not happy. I was able to talk them into reducing it but not to what it would have been if they had done exactly what I agreed to. Weeks later they sent me a bill for the amount they had agreed to take off! Extremely scummy. The total lack of regard for my consent plus some other reviews make me suspicious about the necessity of the fillings I received. I have never had a cavity before in my life but Station Dental found several, or so they say. I am very good about getting regular dental checkups so there wouldn't have been a lot of time for cavities to form. Doesn't mean it can't happen and I am aware that I lack expertise but I wish I had sought a second opinion. At least they were friendly and the office was clean. read more

I tried to set up appointments at the Aurora office for my family. Things did not go well at all. I went with my husband to his first exam as always. They called him back, and I was told to wait because they were just taking him back for xrays. After about 40 minutes I confronted the front office desk when I saw the tech that took him back and told me she was doing the xrays at the desk. She knew that he wanted me there and I wanted to be there to talk with the dentist. That is when I was told he did not sign the HIPPA form and that he didn't ask for it to sign it. I told them no one offered it to us. Since he did not sign the HIPPA form, I could not be back there while he and the doctor were discussing his plan of care. So the Tech that took him back was less than honest, sneaky, and not truly accountable to me, but I am sure doing exactly what the dentist wanted her to do. That is, keep the patient seperated from the rest of the family, because things can move faster and easier that way I am sure. There was no kindness shown here and truly not family centered. Little do they know, I am a legal nurse consultant and understand HIPPA quite well. Abuse of HIPPA also has fines associated with it and maybe your practice needs to look this. My appointment was cancelled and we will be getting his xrays and record from you transferred to the new dentist that we go will be going to. ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS MEET THE DENTIST - your loss. read more

Station Dental - Aurora with Dr. Kim Kennelly recommended a root canal and crown on a badly infected tooth but the endodontist said the tooth can't be saved! Dr. Kennelly is a very precise liar, she attempted to scam me and the insurance company out of big bucks nearly $4,000! Always get a second and third opinion from a specialist. Station Dental also claims the unnecessary x-ray ($300+) will be written off but I have a feeling this dentist office will be submitting a bill to my insurance company. I was there in June, it was so hut and the AC was not working!! I found the door open!! They charged me $55 for a new patient exam and X-rays but the X-rays was broken!! I went into the office 15 minutes before my appointment to fill out paperwork. The front office was friendly and professional. I waited in the waiting room for 25 minutes pasted my appointed time. Then they finally came and took me back. The dental assistant was polite and took a bitewing xray and a pa. Then I waited again, for the dentist to come it. She finally showed up, with no introduction of who she was, and never said hello. She just informed me that she cant save my tooth, that it needed to be extracted and a bridge or an implant to replace the tooth. I was so shocked at this. I had been to another dentist, and was told that I needed a build up and a new crown. I came to this dentist because they do one day crns. This dentist was only seeing me as dollars not as a human. I was so angry at this so callled dentist. I am a retired EDDA. I know that if I had not been she would have taken my tooth and my money. Very unprofessional Dentist. Did she even past the exam? Beware of this office... They do not have your best interest at hand. I did get my dental work done. At another office and will never go back to this hack dental office.
