Great service getting us beer (*** they are currently a bar and grill with none of their own beer on tap) as we walked in, but we waited a very long time for a server to even acknowledge our presence afterwards. All we wanted was a plate of truffle fries. For $7, it was a pitiful portion and had been sitting around for a bit. I saw a sandwich plate go out afterwards and it seemed to have almost the same amount we received. The fries were still tasty and we were hungry, so they disappeared quickly. The atmosphere is nice, so I would consider a stop again when they're actually brewing. read more

I ordered the fish and chips after asking how they were. The waitress said they were good, but what she brought me was three chunks of burnt fish and a plate of burnt fries. I tried the fish and it was dry (since it was burnt), so I told her it wasn't good and ordered a burger instead. She asked if I wanted the fries I already had or a different side. I got a salad, which was incredibly small, but it was the side so I wasn't terribly upset. The burger was already soggy by the time I finished the salad, because it was incredibly greasy. I ate most of it since I was very hungry, but knew I would never be back. Then my bill came. They charged me $6.99 for that dinky salad that came on a saucer plate!! Food deserves a 1 star but only giving it a two star as the server was doing her best and was very friendly. $16.99 for Fish & Chips, I've had better Fish & Chips at Skipper's for less than $10. Two pieces of my Milepost fish could fit in the palm of my hand, third piece could have fit also, absolutely nothing good to say about them. The Cole Slaw, I can buy better Cole Slaw at Safeway or Fred Meyer. And the truffle fries were burned. My wife had fish tacos she could never find the fish in the tacos. Should have sent both orders back but because the waitress was really nice, very busy I didn't want to bother her. The place use to be average, not a bad place just average, now I would never suggest it and I will never go back. $60 for fish & chips, fish tacos and 2 beers. Done, not going back. read more

Short rude host said nothing more than 2? No goodbye or even a smile. Specifically asked for soup first had to ask, response, oh yeah, your food won't be much after. Not pleased so far. Asked for my burger rare. She delivered a well done burger stated that it was the rarest it was going to get, then walked away. Food average, service poor. This was our second stop on our beer tour. I got the house IPA. Very hoppy, but has good flavor. Now the Root beer with a vodka floater was amazing. They make their own root beer in house. And, yes it is very good. They has a table reserved for our group, but my group is very impatient and just went straight to the bar. Sorry serving staff. We all greeted when we walked in, and we were all said goodbye to as we left. Not much to complain about, it just was not as remember able as the other stops on our journey. This place used to be a favorite stop. However, the prices seem to keep going up. $55 for a beer, coke, burger, mini burger & fries (Fries are no longer included. The server failed to mention they're not included; nor did she mention one order could be big enough to share). Service was horrible. Yes, they were busy, and service is usually slow when they're busy, but this was over the top bad. After several requests, our server actually told us she was "too busy" to go get condiments. Seriously?! And this was after our order sat under the heat lamps for at least 15 minutes. (I watched it sit there and finally asked if someone could serve it). It was such a bad experience, I actually wrote to the owner. No response. Which to me says: we don't really care. Next time we wanted a burger in the area, we just drove on to Gustav's in Leavenworth - which was excellent. read more

This restaurant was recommended by The Applets and Cotlets candy folks. The chicken pot pie is very good but what had been good service declined. Had to wait forever for the check and no follow up for drink refills or desert. Good but with bad service I had to give it 3 stars. Maybe you will get better service so give it a try. Best. Nachos. Ever. We stopped for a cold beer to break up a long drive. We ordered a couple of pints - their amber and another WA one and the decided to try the nachos with chilil. Cooked to perfection - just the right blend of cheese and chili. Chips still crisp - amazing. Sitting in the sun, great view, good beer and and nacho nirvana = great start to a weekend. read more

My first experience at milepost 111. It's a fine place but they could certainly polish things up just a bit. I'm not talking cleanliness, I'd give them a solid four star on cleanliness. The bathroom was clean and well stocked- a definite bonus! The positives are cleanliness, good beer and good food! I'd give them a four star food and beer - only four because the fries were cold ish and a bit greasy but the burger was hot, fresh and tasty. The beer was cold and they had a decent variety. Overpriced burger - really slow, slow service. That's all. Usually I only post five star reviews for restaurants but I'm learning to expand. read more

So my wife and I just ordered take out (1milepost burger and 1 southwest chicken burger) and while waiting had 1 glass of house red wine and 1/2 order of chips with bluecheese dressing. We got the bill and it was $60 without tip!! Not sure where they pulled that out of their butt. The fact is we live in Cashmere and have been loyal customers for years and after this will not be going back. We want so badly to support our local businesses but not at this cost. Was visiting the Leavenworth/Wenatchee area for the weekend with family. There were 7 of us in total. We were told our wait time would be about 25min because of COVID mandated limited seating. Not a problem. She put us at two different tables across the patio from each other. There was a table in between us and the people at that table literally got up and left about 30 seconds after we all sat down and another family took that table. Would have been nice to simply wait until they left in the first place so we could at least have been somewhat close to our other family members. And if this wasn't bad enough - we sat and watched 4 tables who got there after us order and receive their drinks before we were even offered water. To top of the experience we watched about 6 tables rotate without being wiped off. The table next to us had a baby with them so we made sure they understood that the table wasn't wiped off and they cleaned it themselves. I am patient due to COVID restrictions, but this experience was ridiculous AND posed great danger to people who may be compromised. VERY VERY irresponsible. We will not be returning, nor will be ever recommend this place to our beer loving friends who visit that area often. read more

Beautiful location on the Wenatchee River - and the best $7.95 slice of key lime pie I have ever eaten. Their suds were certainly swallowable, to boot. I liked the Steelhead Red, and I loved that you could take your pint out to sit by the river and wave at people rafting by. The service was efficient and friendly during our visit, in contrast to the portrait painted by other reviewers. They have a lot of tap handles, but for a brew pub surprisingly poor beer etiquette. The beer only comes by the "pint", no pitchers, and not sure if the glasses are even 16oz or if they use those glasses that look like a pint glass but with diminished internal volume. Also both times I have gone there, the glasses were not filled to the top. I expect a full 16oz when buying a $6 beer. I have only had the Rye IPA they brew, and the other people and I found it was nearly undrinkable; underfermented with off flavors from possible contamination or poor temperature control. Food is ok if you stick with basic burger and fries, but the crab cakes we got were mushy and unappetizing. The menu is over priced for what it is. Service was very slow and not especially friendly on both occasions. The seating on the deck is far and away the best feature of Milepost. It gives a terrific view of the river. Would not recommend. read more

Milepost 111 made our gathering special indeed. We met in the private room and received excellent service throughout our 3 hour event. Servers were without exception smiling and helpful and efficient. The room itself is well appointed and pleasingly decorated, and the table set up was thoughtfully done to meet our plan for the evening. A large television was provided and the overall media set up satisfied our needs very well. Beverages and food came quickly from the bar and the kitchen. The beer was cold and the burgers hot. The chicken pot pies were all sold out and some of us were disappointed. Still, we enjoyed a variety appetizers and main dishes. Thank you Milepost 111 and especially your able manager and staff. Good beer from the brewery, and if the milepost brews are not your style they have a good taplist with a healthy variety of brews from other breweries. This place is great, especially for a small town mountain brewery. The food was fantastic and truffle fries come standard with all the burgers and sandwiches. If you are looking to get out of the tourist hell in Leavenworth, this is the perfect lunch spot. read more

Since my first review I have had mixed results with this place. Mostly to do with the service and the workers. The food has been good but service can be downright slow or rude at times. I stopped going a few months back. It amazes me that the management hasn't cleaned house and set ground rules on how to treat costumers. ... Is it possible to leave less than one star? Well - where should I start? The service was average - pretty good beer menu - but never never order the caprese salad. It is $11.00 and it consists of 4 tomato slices - three basil leaves and if you are lucky they may have mozzarella - not this time - I added Gorgonzola which came out with provolone - I had to send it back (which I hate doing) and it was mediocre. It was a Saturday night and they close at 10:00 pm promptly. This was apparent as they were clearing our table and handing us our check at 9:40. We still had half of our beers and food left. GOURMET FOOD IN A BREW PUB? YOU BETCHA! We have been to the Milepost 5 times now and have never been disappointed. Tonight I tried their Smokejumper wings. Best wings I have ever had. (6.95) I also had the crab and shrimp bisque (3.95). Full of seafood, not overly heavy with cream but great flavor. My all time favorite is the brisket burger with truffle fries. Milepost has breakfast on weekends and if you go, you must try the cheesy biscuit covered with sausage gravy. read more

When my Nephew invited me out for a couple of beers at this Brewery... I thought to myself "Hmm, a Brewery in my little hometown? It's Cashmere, so it's probably just a Bar". I should add that I have been living in Portland, Oregon for the last 15 years so my expectation of a Brewery in Cashmere was not high. As we pulled up, I was pleasantly surprised! The entire dining area was wide open so that you could enjoy the summer weather and they have a large patio for outside seating that looks over the river with a view of the mountains. I was immediately in heaven. We walked through to the bar and we both ordered their IPA. Delicious and actually lighter tasting than I'm used to for an IPA. We decided to sit outside and as we walked back through we past the open kitchen were the staff was busily preparing orders. The food that was up looked amazing and the aroma made my mouth water! We sat outside on the patio, a bit breezy at times but we are on the river so no biggie. About 4 beers in , a guy came out and appeared to be setting up for music, naturally , we asked and he told us that his wife was here for her 20 year High school reunion and he was to be playing some music for them. It just happened that it was my cousins' reunion, which I haven't seen in many years, so not only did I get to try a fabulous new place but also got to attend a great social event with some familiar faces. I couldn't think of better place in the area to have a reunion. All in all, atmosphere was great, service was decent and the beer was totes delish. I cannot wait to go back and try out the food. As we were leaving, I thought, "Nice to have a little piece of NW Portland in my tiny hometown". I will be going back to the Milepost for sure! read more
