Really poor service. Waited to be seated, because no one was manning the front, then waited 15 min to get a drink order. Food was ok, waitress finally came by when food arrived and asked how it was, before we had a chance to take a bite. Poor beer selection. read more

Service was good. Food not so much. My husband and I had ordered steak med rare. It came almost well done. Dry w/ pink the size of a dime in the middle. We would have sent it back but we had waited over half and hour for it to arrive and were too feed up to stay any longer than necessary. Our son tho had to wait another 6 mins past when the rest of our order arrived to receive his but his steak was perfect! So 1 out of 3 seems to be the odds. Our Parmesan fries were very salty and limp and the aioli sauce tasted pretty much like mayo. Our daughters shrimp creole dish was creamy and no spark. Nothing exciting on the menu but waitress was attentive and helpful so for that I give this restaurant 2 stars. read more

Between 3 and 4 stars. The food is pretty good, I have liked (not loved) everything I have had there. Service is good. We have always sat out on the patio, which has a great view of the harbour, the Empress, and the Parliament building. We keeping going here, just because the view is so nice, and the weather has been great this whole week. Really can't think of a nicer location. read more

I like how accommodating this restaurant is to big groups. I've had two functions here so far, and both went great. I had one server that seemed stressed that there were 20 of us (and was a bit rude about it), and another that was fantastic. I've had problems with the servers at this restaurant on/off. They don't have a tonne of options for me as someone who doesn't eat meat other than fish... but I love the seafood salad so much that it doesn't really matter:) Love the modern decor. read more

Unfortunately we chose to come here for breakfast. It was not at all busy but our food took a long time. I was brought the wrong thing, and three other dishes were stone cold. We sent it back, and on the second try one of our party's food was still cold but by that time he gave up and just ate it. My mothers eggs were soft when she ordered hard, mine were soft when I ordered medium. We also just gave up and ate it - we were starving, and what's the point of sending it back twice. Service was not the problem, we felt bad for the poor girl who had to deliver from the kitchen! It's a shame because I usually really like Milestones food and atmosphere. They comped some meals and did 50% off the rest. I hope they sort out that kitchen! read more

Great place to enjoy the weather, people watch, and enjoy good food and drink. Mojitos by the pitcher, appetizers and salads are all yummy! Good service and good location make this worth a visit. I'm starting to think all food experiences in Victoria are going to be positive. read more

It's just okay. There are other restaurants in the area that are doing it better for less money and presumption. The family decided to try the vegetarian burgers, with one being gluten free. There was little effort to elevate the burger beyond heating a preformed patty and bun and serving it with bagged, pre-washed greens. Service was pretty good, but food delivery was quite slow even though it wasn't busy. Either add some value to the food or lower the prices. read more

My family and I go her quite regularly but one time we were here for dinner and my daughter ordered the poutine, when it had arrived she was a couple bites in until she noticed there was a huge black fly sitting in the gravy! We immediately notified are waiter and she was was very nice and apologetic also the manager personally apologized and gave us a refund but my husband,daughter and I all felt sick to are stomach after. read more

On a recent visit, the service was dreadful. The lunch order took almost an hour to arrive, and at no time did a waitperson inform us that there was a delay or apologize for why things were taking inordinately long. Our coffee arrived after about a 10 minute wait, and then we were ignored until the food arrived. We did not even see a waitperson so we could flag her/him down for more coffee. The table next to us waited almost 40 minutes for their order, before being told that the kitchen had run out of one of the main courses they had ordered. The restaurant did not look overly busy, with only about 60% - 70% of the tables occupied at any one time. When it did arrive, the food was average; neither poor nor excellent. I eat here often and enjoy it every time. For brunch the Prime rib hash is amazing. In the evening I love their prime rib, the crust is amazing. The kids menu is nice too my boys love it. read more

Recently took my 94 year old aunt for lunch and was very disappointed . We were seated in the far back corner. It was tricky to manoeuvre her Walker back there. The thing is, there were lots of empty tables near the front. Were they trying to hide her? The food was cold. The service was ehh. It took 15 minutes to get lukewarm coffee. Server was not unpleasant but you got the feeling she was doing you a favour by taking your order. We were very very disappointed and will not be back soon. read more

A chain that suffers from poor management and indigent staff. Arrived at the reception area to be told 15 minuet wait. Was offered a table in the bar area right next to the only other couple in the area. Ignored by staff, after taking the little piece of paper, while the table next to us was served. We waited and waited and after 25 mins another couple came into the bar and sat on the stools, they received immediate recognition and service. We got up and left but on the way out the bar staff member came after us begging us to return as we exited the door. We wrote to the company on their website but as of yet got no response all we wanted was a reply nothing else just to know we made them aware and they would correct the issue. Result we never will go back and I suggest to all try any other place. No regard for customers or follow up why spend your hard earned money where people don't care? read more

Came to Milestones for lunch on a saturday. We were hungry and after assessing the various options in the westshore via some googling, decided to go to Milestones for lunch and drinks before heading back into Victoria. It was quite busy when we got there and were told it would be a 10 minute wait while they cleared some tables and got us seated. We said no problem and patiently waited until they were ready to seat us. unfortunately, I cannot rank the food as we left after sitting at our table for 15 minutes waiting to even get a glass of water or order a drink. Our server walked by the table twice very briskly in that time frame and said something along the lines of "I'm sorry but it's super busy and i will be with you in a few minutes". That was fine but after ten minutes of no contact, we had picked out our drinks and our food and we were ready to go. I flagged down a hostess and said "hey since you guys are slammed, can we just grab a caesar for my wife and a beer for me while we wait for the server", she curtly replied " no, you will have to wait for your server" and walked away. So we waited and after 15 minutes of sitting their with glasses of water and no one talking to us, we got up and left. Restaurants get busy and i understand that leads to wait times but if you cannot get even a server to talk to folks within 15 minutes, you need more staff or you shouldn't be sitting those people. Won't be going back to this location again due to the poor service read more
