For the most part, the work is good, but attention to minor details would give them 5 stars. Last time I had to ask the man to take off the black streaks on the bottom of the car (they did it on their own the first time). He did it with no hesitation, just applied that crazy chemical stuff they have and it came right off. My wife wants me to bring it back this week, and I most likely will, I'm just not okay with having to ask for little things to be done when it was already paid for in the package and you could clearly see that it needed to be done. Bit of advice: Attention to detail on every job, especially when we're paying $240 brudda. I'm going to this week and if I'm good and don't have to ask for an obvious dirt piece to get cleaned, I will continue to come. read more

I am only giving this one star because you can't give any less. I walked up on Tuesday and asked for an appointment for Wednesday at noon. They told me it was no problem. When I came back Wednesday they told me that they were closing at noon. How could you not call a customer who had an appointment? I then booked for Thursday at 10am. I show up at 950 and they tell me it'll be an hour and a half for a wax, wash, and seat shampoo. I come back 2 hours and 10 minutes later to find my car hasn't even been touched! They apologize and say that go backed up. They then tell me my car will be ready in 20 minutes but I have a meeting so I leave and they say they'll call me. 90 minutes later still no phone call so i call them. They explain that it was done in 20 minutes and forgot to call. When I go pick it up, there are wax spots everywhere. The guys attempt to clean some of them off but don't bet them all. I pay $50 as was the negotiated price and leave as arguing won't do any good. I run to the store and when i get out, I notice my seats are still dirty, there is dirt on the wheels, and there are spots everywhere. Also, the carpet was vacuumed. Maybe that should be on me but i have never been to a car wash where they don't vacuum your car for you. I come back and ask them for the owners number and they are hesitant to give it to me and after about 10 minutes of question and answer they offer me $20 back because "we don't wash leather seats." I would not recommend this place to my enemy and will never be going back again. I am not sure if they are registered with the Better Business Bureau but i will find out and make a report. read more

We bring our car here often to get it detailed. The first time we came here they did an amazing job, spotless. This time will probably be the last time we bring our car here. For the amount we pay to get our car detailed & the fact that we had to leave our car there for 4 hours I would've expected a spotless car. Sadly that isn't the case. Every single window is dirty. All the chrome on the inside of the car is dirty. Behind the back tires on the back bumper is dirty. The leather is semi clean. Honestly I don't feel like I got what I paid for. read more

I took my car to be detailed with water spot removal. A few days later I noticed that I had a difficult time seeing out of the window at night, especially when headlight were shining towards me. Brought my vehicle back they buffed the windshield which we thought was scratched. Was o.k. but still hard to see. Bottom line is the clear tint on front windshield has fine scratches which were not there before. I was willing to half the $ 350 repair cost but they said the scratches were there before. Don't waste your time or money here. Detailer has since contacted me and says it was my wiper blade that scratched the window; I should change them and quit complaining. Einstein the clear film is on the inside of the front windshield. They still have not offered to make good on the damage and now they insult me. read more

I had taken our honda element which is the two tone black silver to an auto car plex wash on thursday had the full works. noticed on friday spots all over the black portion anyway lousy job so I took it to this place and the guy Don mentioned it was the black thing that they put on wheels that was splattered all over the black trim. and they could take it off now there were hundreds of spots. I was able to get appt for saturday today I just picked up the car and it was as if the car was brand new. Koichi and his staff did such an excellent job I am going to bring the other cars here also this is a great birthday or christmas gift for the person who has everything Koichi was terrific in explaining what other service the car may need in the future no pressure no force selling just done in a very professional curteous way Now Koichi is from japan and having been to asia several times. it is very hard to beat the work ethics of people from asia. this is very true Koichi does not hard sell, but truly cares about the conditions of the car, the staff has very good work ethics and pride in what they do The prices are very reasonable especially for the wash vacuum and wax. cant beat the price they are also fast but very efficient would highly recommend Koichi, Don and staff to this place thank you, mililani auto detailing you have made a new fan. will tell everyone about your business and again thank you for making a seven year old car look almost new read more

Service: $35 hand wash and vacuum, 4 door car My first thought was 'hmmm kind of expensive but oh well my car is in bad shape just get it done'. It took about 30 minutes as no one else was there and they took my car right away. I had to walk to the farthest gas station to get cash out because they didn't take cards. That was my first pet peeve... Whatever, got the cash out and waited for them to finish. At first glance I was happy to finally have a clean car. Customer service was minimal, no one barely spoke a word and kind of mumbled through our very short conversations. As I got down the road I noticed finger prints on the inside of the windshield. Nothing is more annoying than finger prints in your driving vision. I then noticed that not even the dash board was wiped down at all. Like not even with a dry towel. Mind you the service did say "Handwash and vacuum" but I guess I should have clarified with them if that was literally all they did for $35! I know this is Hawaii and things are ridiculously expensive but come on put some effort into your work! Not even the trash was taken out of the side door trash holder. I've never been to a car wash where they didn't do this for a basic clean. Needless to say I'll be looking for a new car wash place and won't be back here ever again! The two stars is for the outside wash and quick service. That was at least done properly. It also was a bit annoying that they don't have chairs or anything for you to sit and wait. read more

im sorry to say, but if you go to mililani auto detail after reading this yelp, your nuts! i paid 300 dollars to get my truck detailed and when i went to pick it up, there was still sand under the folding seats in my truck, the windshield was cleaned half ass, there was still stuff in cracks of the dash. the top outside roof wasnt done, plastics were made shiny only as far as an arm could reach by my windshield wiper area, i could keep going and going on the lack of dedication to doing a good job these people have. i took my truck here because i couldn't get an appointment with ben @ hawaii auto detail in pearl ridge. i should have just waited, because i got a half ass detail for 60 more dollars then i paid hawaii auto detail to do an exellent job on my wifes suv! what should i expect for a auto detail place under a damn sun shade, i had a bad feeling and it came true... waste waste waste of money plan better then i did and go to hawaii auto detail in pearl ridge area i live and love mililani but will drive to pearl for a 200x better job for less money.. read more

I should have listened to all the negative reviews on here :( I took my car in to get it "professionally detailed" before shipment. I paid $85 for an exterior wash and wax, and interior detailing + carpets vacuumed. I waited 3 hours and still no phone call, so I called and asked if my car was ready and they said yes. When I arrived, my car was parked beside another car they were power washing. Who the hell does that?? All the mist, dirt and rocks were flying all over the place, especially on my car! When I got home I took a closer look at my car and saw that they have shined my tires but failed to clean the wheels, my vinyl/dashboard were wiped down but no protector was applied (which I was charged for), and there were still bird poop all over my damn car. What does that tell me?? Not only did they not spend enough time washing it, but they probably also didn't WAX it. What a joke! I spent a good hour picking up where they left off. I was soooo disappointed. I couldn't believe I was doing the work I PAID them to do. Please.....do NOT take your car here. You've been warned! I would never recommend them to anyone. Extremely disappointed. Please BEWARE of leaving any kind of belongings in your car. You would think that it would be okay to leave just a pair a shades in the car because what's the worst that could happen? Right? Wrong. A pair of shades that had been left in my car was completely damaged. I'm not talking about scratches on the lens. They were completely destroyed, one lens was missing and the frame was broken. Went in there today just before 5 and they were already closing up shop. An hour before they close. Got told no and that they were done for the day. My Truck is huge! It won't fit in a car wash. The crew at Mililani Auto Detail know they have their work cut out for them when I arrive because I use my truck to drive to the ranch... Unlike Christine I call the guys before I come and schedule an approximate appointment. They are so kind and treat me like Ohana. I'm kind of pissed off I just bought a brand new car less than 6 months ago and I've taken it to these guys 2 times before today and they have done a great job but they have managed to literally break my car key for it which seems really weird and hard to do having it being brand spanking new so that only tells me that they were forcing my key in the ignition the wrong way or whatever or were tampering with it in some way and the guy helping me just told me it just fell apart by itself which seems impossible soooooooo....... I'm leaving this review in complete disappointment cause now I have to go fix or possibly pay for a new key which is gonna cost me more money if I can do it myself, let me add that I will send if my dealership can fix it or replace it and if they do and I have to pay for it then please note employees and employer-owner I will be bringing a receipt for my paying for the fix to the establishment and expecting compensation if not I WILL TAKE MEASURES FURTHER CAUSE I AM FURIOUS!!!! read more
