    Freal shakes and smoothies!

If possible I try to avoid having to purchase things at the register. We'll stop in for snacks, freal shakes, field trip lunches and "my tank is all the way on E and I just need enough to get me to Costco" gas LOL. But everytime I go inside to pay there's at least two people in line. Sometimes the people in line are rude and the cashiers don't care if they go in order of who is there first. On the very rare occasion I will have my car washed here. It's not a good wash at all but what the hey, up to you right? I do find it convenient that there's an air/water machine outside as well as a vacuum. All in all, it can be convenient for me but when I get in I think "why do I keep coming in here?".

Not a super fancy car wash, but gives exactly what is advertised. $10 gives you a double pass wash with wax and other small nice things. What I really love is the exit dryers have a timer you can watch, so you can ease your car forward and get as much of the excess water off the car as possible. I try to avoid high traffic times so I can get the most out of that last blow drying. People inside the spot are helpful and courteous, and I've seen a lot of people stopping in for musubis and quick bites in the mornings. I've read a few reviews about their gasoline being slow to pump and a few reviews of the car wash being less than what they paid for. I always pay inside and have a receipt so I'm not sure if paying at the touchpad before entering is not as reliable.

I expected it to miss a bit of the hubcaps but NOT this much.

Worst car wash in the area. Today we had some record heat and very little rain so I decided to finally take my car in to get it washed. I had a dinner to attend later on so I was slightly pressed for time, the Tony Autoplex car wash was shut down due to "bad weather" and the line at Liquid Aloha was one of the longest I've ever seen so I decided to just pop down to the Island Minimart car wash which is usually not too busy. Now I know why it's usually not too busy, this thing. . .what words am I allowed to use on Yelp? Hold on let me go read the terms of service for the site. . Oh, cool, I can use "sucks?" "sucks" is good? Yes, I can say "sucks", alright, cool. This car wash SUCKS! I drive a 2013 Mazda 2, it's a sub-compact car and it couldn't even wash it properly. I have dirt still up in the middle of my doors, it didn't even try with the wheels and the back of the car was still just as bad as when I drove in, with the exception of the windows. I had to take my plates off the car and clean them manually, I'll likely be re-washing the whole car myself again as a result of this. Don't get me wrong, this isn't the employees fault, they didn't build this thing and I doubt they are responsible for quality control so don't go yelling at them, but that is another issue! Who the gosh-darn-golly-gumdrops do you talk to about this? I will NOT be coming back here for a car wash, I'd rather wait an hour and a half trying to get into Liquid Aloha at town center.

Arguably the slowest car wash on the island. 1-hour and still in line. There were 5 cars ahead of me...

ETHANOL-FREEEEE (= EtOH-free) GAS SOLD HERE!…read more Do you crave better gas mileage!? Does your car make funny sounds?! Does your engine feel like it grinds?! Ppl think Ethanol gas is less expensive than real gas. Completely not true in more ways than one. I once drove an Ethanol gas-consuming vehicle and let me tell you, it was not a pretty sight. When the vehicle was first new, we filled with regular gas and it worked just fine but soon after ethanol gas became available is when that same vehicle broke down often and engine ran rough like it was grinding away it's short life! So not good! Why?! Because of the Ethanol gas! Ethanol gas contains that additive so is not pure gas! If not yet, the ethanol will eventually do bad things to you car's engine! :( Ethanol-free gas is more efficient and cleaner burning. It may seem like it costs a bit more but the gas mileage you will see will be well worth the price. It will make your car drive more miles = better gas mileage! Hey, if you're half Chinese like me, this matters! Hehe :) Well, if you're not sure, give it a try. No doubt that you will definitely see improved gas mileage pretty instantaneously! :) --- SELF-SERVICE -- As for the service? This is a self-service gas station. You pay at the pump or inside the station kiosk. The attendants usually found inside the kiosk are always very nice and pleasant. CASH = DEBIT = 8¢/gal DISCOUNT -- If you pay cash or use your debit card as cash (you have to let them know you want to use your card as debit), you will receive a discount per gallon. When using your debit card, you will have to guess how much gas you'll need in terms of dollars, pay that amount, then go back into the kiosk for your change if you don't use the entire allotment: - With prices now about $3.05/gal, I usually get $50 to fill my four-door sedan tank. - If you pay cash or by debit, be sure to go back inside the kiosk to get a receipt for your exact purchase. WINDOW WASHING SUPPLIES - If you are needing window washing/wiping accessories (wiping towels, soapy water, and squeegee), find the the dark grey towers located between the gas pumps that double as trash cans. TIRE AIR & WINDOW WASHER WATER EQUIPMENT -- I have never used this equipment but it's on the side of the station nearest Zippy's Waipio (next door). I believe there is a charge to use the equipment but I am not aware of the pricing so I cannot post it here.

He like ethanol free gas cause it doesnt have any of the junk, you get better mileage and its better for the engines. We found this station in Waipio by chance (we were going to my sisters house and saw the banners advertising Ethanol Free). My hubby says that this place has the best price for ethanol free gas.

Pro tip: Avoid coming around 12-1pm, they close down for lunch and the line gets backed up. I came in last time right before their lunch break, and you could tell that they were going quickly to get through all the cars waiting so they could go on break. Overall, they are really friendly and even with the line it seems to move very efficiently. It does seem a little dangerous when the line of cars goes out of the parking lot and there's a pile up of cars on the side of the main road. Service is friendly ,efficient and I will come back next year when my safety expires.

They seem pretty efficient but what annoyed me is that I did not realize is that one line is for re-inspect and the other is for the regular inspection. First time I've encountered two lines. The dude (younger of the two) who came to my window said, "you got your papers for re-inspect?" I said, um re-inspect? Then he tells me, "yeah you're in the wrong line." And just walked away. Mind you, I'm parked in the middle of the long line and had to get out of line and turn around in a tight spot. Ugh. Then I could only assume that the other line was for regular inspections. But there is no sign to indicate what the lines are for. Pretty rude on his part too. I get that they're busy but a little customer service goes a long way. Remember, we're patrons of your business.
