The Clubhouse at Mililani Golf Club is a casual restaurant that serves up delicious local food and sushi. We ordered a few appetizers, sushi rolls, and bowls. Rainbow roll & spicy ahi roll were fine but the Aburi salmon roll was bomb! Gyoza & fries were great. Overall, everything was good and we would come back especially if we're hitting at the driving range. Kids menu also available. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Ample parking in the lot. I just read my review from 2021. What the? Mililani is still great but I absolutely do NOT play my best here! For some reason this course has my number. I mean, something bad always happens and my usually somewhat reliable swing just falls apart at the wrong times!!!!! If it's not a hook at the wrong places or a perfect drive, perfect layup and a great iron to the par 5 green - which ends in a big 3 putt!!!!!! I cannot handle the first par 3. Over the years, I layup and go into the ravine, or into a bunker or short and pitch lousy and 3 putt. Or on the 11th hole my GPS says 70 yards to the ravine for layup - I find out it's wrong - more like 30. I go into the ravine/water. Next hole par 3, hit left short, pitch too high, 3 putt argggggh But I continue to go back hoping one day I may play like the person I am on other courses (except Kapolei and New Ewa). Some courses just have my number. Very sad but beautiful course!!!! read more

This review is for the restaurant only: INCREDIBLE food is an understatement. So so Ono. We loved their spider roll (so fresh tasting), Cesar salad and chow fun. Oh, and their local moco is really tasty because the gravy is home made. Beef stew was good but not as impressive as others. Service is pretty good though they can get super busy and slow at times. The only negative, is their desserts. We got their creme brulee yuzu pie slice and it was SO TINY. Truly I thought it was a sample.... the bread pudding was also hard. Meant to write a review two weeks ago in response to a a wonderful late lunch experience here with my daughter (and her newborn son, who, thankfully, slept through the meal). Actually, past dining experiences here have always been great because of the awesome food and wonderful service. This time last time around, it was terrific because we made it for the sushi menu (starts at 2pm), which was fresh and delicious, as usual; the Korean chicken was the bomb, as usual; and our server, Shan, was truly exceptional: friendly, warm, attentive, and she truly went out of our way to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. Went here for a party. It was Chinese style where they bring food to your table. Service was ok but felt terrible for the one person who serviced the whole party. The food was mediocre. First off the salad was the best thing on the menu, refreshing and the dressing was good! Tater tot nachos and the fries were good. The steak with grilled mushrooms and Korean chicken was flavorful and cooked to perfection. Their hamburger steaks where huge but unfortunately they were very tough to cut through. The fried pork belly was dry and super tough to chew as well. As for the fried noodles I don't know what went wrong but it was very very very salty. Tons of free parking. Restaurant located at Mililani golf course. They have inside and outside seating with nice views of the course. Went on a weekday for lunch and was seated immediately. Service was friendly. I was bummed because we missed breakfast by like 5 minutes. Can't be mad bout that tho lol. I had the clubhouse ... it was weird to have cheese and mustard in my sandwich. I've eaten clubhouse sandwiches at a ton of places and I don't think I've ever had either before so it was just a different taste. I just took it off and that fixed it lol. Played here a couple times in a month. Was pleasantly surprised how good shape the course was in. The maintenance is being kept up in this hard to hire environment. Surprisingly, they even rake the 10th hole (formerly the 1st). I can recall in the past that groups spent so much time turning over leaves looking for balls... LOL. All the employees were helpful and seemed glad to see you. Beer isn't to expensive and our 1 pm time only ran around $75. Almost a bargain on a Saturday in Oahu recently. Bring your own towel, charge up your phone (usb disabled), and the gps has been removed from the carts. But the golf is good. read more

This is for The Clubhouse. My cousin said to meet them here and I'm glad it's open to the public. We got their before the lunch rush and there were a couple of big tables, and a private party going on, so must be good! We ordered the ahi salad, since they don't do sushi until 2 pm, and it was delicious! The calimari was pretty standard, as were the tater tot tachos. But it was the Korean fried chicken that was soooooooooo ONOOOOO! I would just come up here for that!!! Oh, and I tried the dried sting ray fin for the first time and it was really good! We dropped in for dinner at Mililani Golf Club Restaurant. We lived here in Mililani for quite some time and never stopped in. We were surprised at their menu. It has some of our favorite Japanese items, such as chicken nanban, agedashi tofu and calamari. They were delicious. So 'ono. We sat outside and enjoyed the pretty view of the course. The tables were clean and wait staff were friendly and very attentive. I'm so glad we stopped in for a meal and a beer. Looking forward to our next visit. read more

Mililani Golf course overbooked T times and didn't even have enough carts. We waited past our scheduled time before we even got carts. Then the first T box was backed up because they overbooked. we went out over an hour past our scheduled time . We waited every shot because it was backed up so much. To top it all off, they called us in while we were about to tee off on 17, so we couldn't even finish the round. I emailed the clubhouse but never received a response. I gave two stars rather than one because the people in the pro shop were nice and the course is in good shape, but there are a lot of other places to play that don't treat their customers this way therefore I won't patronize this course for a long time. read more

We play here on occasion, most frequently twilight rounds but have played a few full 18's. I consider Mililani my home course, and I don't have any complaints that are in the staff's control. The pro shop guy is really nice, the starters are always good fun to talk to. I will say that the driving range gets CRAZY busy on Fridays and Saturdays so try to go during "off" times. Not a fan of how some golf clubs take up multiple stalls instead of sharing to be considerate of others who want to practice, but that's not on the staff (or is it lol). I would recommend this course to anyone looking to have a chill round! read more

Solid course, there's nothing special about it but that might be the thing that makes it special. Locally ran, good price, great food at the turn, solid range, good customer service. The course itself is in good condition and the greens run true, it's not long at all there's a lot of gettable par 5s. overall course is solid and i'll definitely be coming back. read more

Main Entrees are over-powering with flavors that made it hard to eat, such as the very sour kimchee fried rice, very salty fried pork chops and fried Ahi Belly with cream sauce and capers. The chicken katsu was good and balanced and the sushi was excellent. Service and Ambience were fine. We haven't dined here for over a year and were hoping the main dishes improved. Today was supposed to be a relaxing fun day with a fellow coworker! Was excited to play here for the first time! Also my last time! Everything started off good but then shortly after 2 older idiots behind us playing from the red tee just hits the ball past us! 1st time let it slide but 2nd time the ball flys past my friends head ! I'm pissed now but being that they're elderly I don't get nutz but yell at them! But there response to me yelling at them to stop hitting the ball .. is f@k you! So we finished the 18th hole and instead of handling it myself I went to the front desk and told them! They said they would talk to them .. so dropped off my golf bag to the car and came back to drop off the cart! There I met the 2 older guys that are regulars there! The manager or seemed to be tried to talk to them and they kept on going by that's when I confronted them and there response was you suck at golf and your white go back to the mainland and there old!I guess this gives them every reason to hit the ball and try to kill someone! As management or person In charge they should have handled this much better and make them realize not only could they really hurt someone but there coulda been a fight and coulda ended really bad but instead they let them try to make excuses to justify there wrong doing!If you looking to fight old people hitting balls at you! If I ever find out who spoke to my Mom like she wasn't a human being I pray karma gets you first! Don't ever degrade a women because she came up to you to make time on a Sunday for her and my family! Love the staff. Course in horrible condition. You cannot put a tee into the ground on the tee boxes. Large places on fairways where there is no grass. Bunkers are packed sand. Pace of play is horrendously slow. Sad because the course features a nice layout with mature trees. read more

The cleanliness really stood out to me. $6 bucket of balls. Driving range is open from 6:30 AM to 10 PM. There's a new restaurant at the club and it is a wonderful restaurant. We've dined in there once, the food and service was great. read more

Would give 0 stars if I could. Management did a terrible job at communicating tee times. We were backed up 45min- 1hr. Then threatened to kick us out for playing too slow, when we were stuck behind a group of 5 the entire time. They claimed it was like this every weekend, but if that's the case they should fix their tee times instead of letting golfers book unrealistic times. The group in front of us also wanted to start a fist fight because we were constantly behind them. They started shoving and yelling at our friend, which was honestly understandable for the conditions we were all put in. Unsafe and unreliable management. Fix your system instead of blaming the golfers. read more

This is more than a golf course. It's a poo. Poo platter extravaganza. I love to go here in the evening and get some ribs.

Some people may view my experience as a benefit of playing here, but I was completely turned off. Keep in mind we are not drinking, not horse-playing, not idly spending time chatting away. We're just playing a round of golf with friends. Background: I am a newer golfer and line up and swing a couple times before each shot. So I get that I may be a bit slower than your average player, but the other 3 people in my group didn't seem to be a lot faster, but they could have been being kind and going at my pace. My complaint: by the 3rd hole the course 'policeman' came to us to tell us that we needed to go faster as the group before us was 2 holes ahead. We hadn't seen them even when we were checking in. By the 5th hole we received another warning and the patrolman decided to stalk us from then on, and remind us every hole that there was a gap in front of us. By the 7th hole I had enough packed my clubs ready to depart after my friends had finished the 9th hole. Another reminder on the 8th hole, of which I wasn't even playing - I was simply driving the cart. My cartmate also skipped a couple of the first nine holes to try to speed things up. I'm not sure if this is how courses are usually run, but I have no desire to play on a course with constant badgering. Being somewhat new I'm also kinda turned off by the sport if this is the type of treatment I can expect for a $280 round of golf. While the rest of the group played the back 9, I left after the front 9 as I can find more welcoming ways to spend Christmas eve day. read more

Be careful how you book a tee time. Never use the website if you don't want your credit card used. Used the online site reserve the tee time expecting to pay cash but the starter said no can do. You already paid. Explained to her that is not explicitly explained on the website and she said they have nothing to do with the website. Nice explanation. Then after the round forgot my range finder on the cart which was returned straight to the cart barn yet no range finder was ever recovered from it. Hmmm? Lose money. Course was in decent shape at least. Still too many leafs. read more

A one time long ago great course. I'd rate the staff in terms of service, friendliness and professionalism towards the customers very very high and exceptional. Big plus. We didn't eat at the club house so no rating available. The course layout or design is very good though not a lot of dynamic contour but a great track. The bad news is the maintenance of the course though mowed and relatively clean some leaves on some holes due to the beautiful trees lining this parkland course. They also provide ample shade for the golfer to enjoy. But there are loads of bald spots through the fairways and the greens are all splotched with ball marks never properly repaired which is sad because otherwise they would be rated 4/5. This is very sad you can readily see that once upon a time it was a great course. The golf carts are right out of the extra old and used club car lot. Pretty terrible shape though a few are newer eg 10 years old vs 30 years. I rate courses based on 5 stars ready for the PGA / LPGA tour event. And down. The price is no where commensurate with the conditions. The bunkers look great not sure how they spread the sand over hard pan clay at 1/2" thick. So be prepared if you play it. I will only return if they improve the conditions. read more

Oh you are so sneaky hiding ditches behind well manicured low hedges or right after a little rolling hill so you can't see it UNTIL YOU ALMOST DRIVE INTO IT! Yes I know you have fancy GPS on the cart which documents the above mentioned ditches, but my polarized sunglasses cancels it out so I couldn't really see the screen unless I removed my glasses. My bad. And I love that you give us hope to win a hole-in-one jackpot even if it's not a tournament. But let's get real, I can't even get a hole-in-3. Thank you for not putting sand bunkers flanking every hole, because that's just rude. You have just the right amount of bunkers and water hazards. However, the greens must've just been aerated because my ball was getting motion sick trying to get in the hole from all the bouncing. Love the tall Christmas tree looking pines, the cooler weather (compared to Ewa), and the course was pleasant even for a rookie like me. Oh and the starter was super friendly and awesome. Great straightforward course for a recreational golfer. The restaurant is worthy of a visit even if you didn't golf, great food too! read more

We recently had a wedding rehearsal dinner at Mililani Golf Club, and it was over the top great service and the food was delish! Recommend the Kalbi, butterfish and the sushi, although everything was yummy! As the private inside group dining room was already booked we were able to sit on the lanai outdoors which overlooked the golf course. The servers were attentive and Wade our event manager was a pleasure to work with. The parking was spacious and ez access from the highway tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. We come here quite often. I have tried both the driving range on the restaurant, but I've never actually been on the golf course. However, my other half said it was quite enjoyable. This is one of the only driving ranges that will allow my three-year-old to practice on the range so that he can follow his dreams of becoming a professional golfer. The restaurant itself was amazing and I was actually pleasantly surprised at how tasty all of the food that we ordered was. We will be returning to this golf course often as it is near our new home can't wait. read more

Mililani Golf Course's greens are among the best. It was fast when I played and in great condition. The fairways are well maintained and the grass in the roughs are pretty short. They have several narrow canals that cross the fairways that you can't see until you are almost right upon them so it's good to know the layout of the course. What makes MGC an outstanding facility IMHO is the driving range, putting greens, chipping area and concession. All were still open after I left around 8:15 pm. I had the Mahi plate and it was excellent. I rarely eat Mahi Mahi but craved it so I ordered it with no regrets. Even more excellent was that I had it at about 8:00 pm while listening to live music. No other course I know of has a concession/restaurant open after 6. Some close before 4 pm. Some have no concession, driving range and/or chipping green. If I lived in Mililani, MGC would definitely be my number one, ichiban hang out. read more

Check in was great. He was welcoming. On the other hand, the starter was unnecessarily rude. After paying I asked to get a cart to get my bag and he said he was too busy to give me a cart. Then my golf partner carried her bag from the parking lot to the check in area and asked the starter if she could get a cart to help a person in the parking lot to get her bag since we were all seniors and golf bags tend to be heavy. He promptly responded we shouldn't be playing golf if we couldn't carry our bags. She was taken aback by his gruffness and insensitivity. Of course we can carry our bags but it's much easier if we can get the bags on a cart from the parking lot. So much for customer service and aloha. The course itself was okay. The women's tee boxes were unkempt with deep, huge bald spots and unevenness. It's seems like they don't take pride in how the women's tee boxes look. Not sure what the men's tee boxes looked like. The greens were in fair to good shape. Fairways had bald spots here and there but tolerable. Also, no sand holders to refill divots. Restaurant food and service was exceptional! read more

I almost don't want to put up this review... But, Service was great. The food was surprisingly amazing! Got the chicken sandwich with garlic truffle fries and the white dragon roll. I could actually taste the truffle oil!!! The shrimp was warm and crunchy in the roll and the chicken was crunchy and smothered in what tasted like BBQ with hint of wasabi?!?!? I don't know, but it worked. The garlic fries were hot, crispy and perfect with the right amount of garlic ( tons, which i like) And it wasn't too salty!! I made a reservations here over 3 weeks ago. My fiancé also made reservations here and today was the day of our reservations; and less than 4 hours before our tee time they call us and say that they actually have a golf tournament today and they have to cancel our reservation and find somewhere else. Aloha all; this is one of the top golf courses on Oahu. They take great care of their course from the fairways to the greens. The greens are very well groomed and the fairways are immaculate. The staffing is really great as well. Just watch out when the leaves are on the ground , if you don't keep your all on the fairways it could be hard to find. At one time they had upgraded thier carts with course info package but it didn't work well so they took it out during covid, unsure if they will replace it at sometime. They also have a new owner of the restaurant and it's good. They are not open until 8am so you can't get snacks or drinks for early tee times but when you make the turn they will be open. They also have a good driving range and two practice putting surfaces as well as a chipping green with bunker. Check it out and let me know what you think. read more
