My set fee was for all representation required in the case. But a critical document must yet be filed with the court. But when I call, I'm told that he had closed the case (which is clearly false as far as the court is concerned) and he therefore cannot do anything more. I understand that the older brother and owner of the practice is very good, but my experience is that my attorney made well more than $500/hour doing the least work he could.

During the time he was my attorney the only effort he put in was to try to get me to accept a plea despite my saying from the start I would not accept a plea and wanting to fight. I have requested a refund and they are denying it with lawyer word salad and so I will seek an investigation.
