The cupcakes were beautiful but the cake was very dry and crumbly like the consistency of cornbread. The icing also had chunks in it that were not mixed up all the way. This might have just been a one off so I would actually try this place again sometime in the future to see if we can get a better result. And also, all we got was cupcakes. I specially was trying find a place that would offer cookie dough inside of a custom cake. I visited this place and they confirmed that they could do this and confirmed their lead time would be 48 hours. I then came back and tried to order the cake only to be told that it wasn't possible to put the cookie dough on the inside as I had previously confirmed with them. It's now too late to order a custom cake at any of the other shops. They really need to work on their customer service as this is really unacceptable to flip flop with this. I think the issue is they have inexperienced workers on the cash register, they should instead give you the number to call the cake master whenever they are open instead of having their hourly workers say things they can't deliver. read more

The closest froyo place to us that's not a chain.. being an east coast gal I do prefer ice cream and soft serve over froyo but since those places are far and few between.. froyo shops will have to do! This is a cute place..with froyo and all the toppings and then cupcakes. They have larger cupcakes and then mini cupcakes..plenty to choose from. The selection of froyo and toppings are pretty good as well! I tried the peanut butter fudge mixed with chocolate with some sprinkles and cherries. Kiddo had chocolate n vanilla with sprinkles and fruity pebbles (sweetness overload!) and a mini birthday cake cupcake. He normally loves cupcakes but he didn't like the frosting at all. I couldn't get any real reason why out of him besides "just don't like it". For our two small bowls of froyo and the mini cupcake we paid about $11 which seemed a little high to me. As cute as the place is(and freezing cold inside might I add), it is just like all the other chain froyo places around. I'm sure we will be back though since like i said it's the closest place Update: went in today during lunch to get a treat for my boss and I. Wanted to see if I felt the cupcakes were any better. Just finished a sampling of these pretty looking cupcakes. The wedding cake was very plain and didn't taste like any flavor besides vanilla. The birthday cake was also plain and the icing had nothing special to it besides pink sprinkles...I guess I was expecting it to taste like an actual birthday cake or something that wasn't vanilla on vanilla. The Oreo was decent, caramel turtle was super decedent but not moist. The chocolate based cupcakes are a lot more drier. The chocolate chocolate was not bad. My favorite has to be the Reese's cupcake! It had all of the flavors you'd expect to taste in it when you bite into it and the actual Reese's adds more moisture to the overall cupcake. I would want to try other flavors next time to see if there are any other favorites besides Reese's. I saw they do cakes and those look great. Would consider for a birthday! read more

We got a half dozen when we were staying nearby on vacation. We didn't plan to come here but we were craving something sweet and saw that this place was nearby and had good reviews on yelp. For me, the cupcakes were too sweet and the flavors were a bit muddled. I wasn't quite sure of the flavors but I was overwhelmed by sweetness. My daughter seemed to really enjoy the pink (strawberry) one. There is a private parking lot and a few tables outside of this place - but seems to be more of the "pick-up and go" kind of spot. Coming back from a work meeting, my friend and I felt the need for a drink at a coffee shop that happens to be close to Milk and Cake. And after sampling the cupcakes, I can say I am a fan! I ordered the salted toffee cupcake and my friend got the turtle cupcake. We both took cupcakes to go for our husbands. I came here for the cupcakes and left with three regular size and a dozen minis. I ate the full size ones myself and enjoyed all of them thoroughly. The minis came with me to the office the next morning and everyone LOVED them and couldn't stop asking me where I'd gotten them. The cupcakes were not dry at all, and had lots of frosting on them. Some of them come with filling, though not all. I really liked the double chocolate, raspberry lemonade, and lemon cupcake. By far the best frozen yogurt anywhere in Denver and surrounding suburbs. I frequent this place and there are always 1-3 new flavors every time I go. They have unique flavors that I haven't seen anywhere else - fruity pebbles, almond lavender poppyseed, lemon cake, key lime pie - and they always have plenty of sample cups available to use for tasting. Their yogurt and ice cream never tastes too sweet and is always a rich and smooth consistency. Too often I've been to froyo where the yogurt is runny and/or only a few of the machines are actually dispensing yogurt. Staff behind the counter is very nice and friendly, they never rush their customers, and there is rarely a line. Toppings are varied and plenty, and always filled (not much of a topping guy here, more of a froyo purist but I do occasionally grab some cinnamon crumbles).
