Called up the owner Danny and got a specific quote over the phone to do a simple wall mount for a 55" TV. Was told prices are $79 flat rate. 1st upsell, it's too big, $100 2nd, too heavy, $50 (they both have to lift it). 3rd, hide HDMI cords, $50 4th, to run power cord through the whole that they were going to have made for HDMI cord, $75 (literally to drop the cord 5 feet) was told it's the law to have a electrician do it that's why they HAVE to charge me. 5th and final straw, was told my perfectly fine wall mount (that is in place working great now) was unusable and I needed to purchase one from them $200. Most companies always give a four hour window and don't get there until the last hour, not this company, they gave me a window between 5:00pm-6:00pm and they were there right at 5:00pm. He called me en route to let me know his progress and once here he made sure to give me options on best positioning for the room before installation. He has wide-ranging knowledge of home entertainment systems and offered his advice on updating our old equipment. I want to be clear: this wasn't about upsell. After an initial tv mount install from Just Hang I got an estimate for my surround sound with hidden cables and also for my security camera system with HVR and 8 cameras. I got a good estimate so scheduled them to come back for the installation. Dan and Tony came on a Saturday morning and worked straight all day even in the attic where it was over 100 degrees +. They are pros and licensed electricians so everything was done according to their and my high standards. Everything was done in a clean and organized manner. They stayed until the evening and it was more work then initially needed as the exterior cameras were tricky to drill and mount so they set everything up to finish the next morning. They came back Sunday at 9am as I told them we had plans the next day so they were able to finish everything on time. Overall I was happy and more impressed then I expected which says a lot. I don't do reviews unless I know it is well deserved. Any other electrical or display work they have my business and those looking for a referral. Thanks again for the great work. read more

Danny explained the different mount options....flat, tilt or swivel/articulating and he brought all of the mounts so I could choose the one I wanted. Buyer Beware! After missing the first appointment to give me a quote on upgrading my home theatre, 'Danny' did make the second time we booked an appointment. Found him to be very uninterested (maybe the $2000-3000 scope of work was not large enough for him?). Nonetheless, after his 15 minute 'consult', he made sure I wrote him a check for the $75 home visit fee (which, by the way, is not applied to any future work with this outfit!). Days and weeks went by, with me having to remind him on providing the home theatre upgrade quote, as we wanted to complete the work soon to enjoy our new television. He finally told me the quote was coming within a day. Still with no quote delivered, I attempted to cancel the $75 check but of course he had it cashed immediately. I have since asked for a refund and again no response. Don't waste your time reaching out to this sham business. There are other really good home theatre companies in our area who actually want to work with the customer. read more

This was the THIRD job that Danny and his crew have expertly completed for me. This was installing security cameras and the system including the HD DVR and tv monitor. It was certainly a complex install, requiring the positioning of 11 cameras (many on the second level), and particularly, running the wires to connect to the DVR and internet to a central location. The first thing, Danny and Tony are EXPERT electricians. Danny hates seeing wires....anywhere! So they do everything they can to run the cable through attics, walls (minimal openings) etc without having a bunch of exposed wire or conduits. The easy solution is often to run conduit on the outside which is quicker and easier but not as aesthetically pleasing. They do the work like they would in THEIR house. It shows. You will just need to patch places where they go through drywall. I did this myself but they can recommend someone. I like people who do what they do WELL and try not to do other things. They had to fix some wiring done by a plumber to highlight the point. Also, you need creativity with these kinds of jobs. How to optimize your system. An eye for detail. It takes time to position the cameras correctly. TIME! They will not leave until the job is done and will adjust as appropriate. I find their pricing reasonable and definitely worth it if you want the job done well and correctly. I also had some external speakers which they optimized the wiring and helped with recommendations for maximizing wi-fi for my home office and the grounds. Would I hire them again? YES. I have already hired them for another extensive wiring job in my home. I'm sure that experience will be just as positive! read more

I contacted Just Hang after reading the many 5-star reviews on Yelp. I was very pleased with the quality of service. We had a subwoofer that was not working and a wireless headset for my TV that I wanted installed. I kept putting it off because it seemed like such a small job and wasn't sure anyone would have time for it and if they did I thought they would charge me an arm and a leg. When I spoke to Brandon, he told me that it probably wouldn't take a lot of time and if it takes only a half hour, that's all he'll charge me for. His rates are very fair. We had spent money having other so-called professionals look at our subwoofer and they were unable to fix it. I thought I was going to have a get a whole new unit. Brandon came in, pushed a few buttons, and it was fixed in a matter of minutes! Amazing! He showed me which buttons to push in case we run into the same problem again in the future. As for the wireless headset, Brandon said we needed a few items (cables and converters) to make the headset work with our new TV. He told me he could pick those up for me and be back to install in a few days. Super easy, as another media guy wanted me to do the research and buy the items myself, and I'm sure I would've made a mistake, as I am not a tech person. He came back a few days later with all the right parts and got it working in no time! I felt the prices were very fair for parts and labor.
