Such a hidden gem! We've passed Danish & Donuts several times and decided to stop in today after reading the great reviews. Others have shared how stellar the customer service is, and we couldn't agree more. Sophia instantly made us feel at home and had us smiling and laughing with her the entire time we were there. We left feeling like our cups were full. :) She let us know their family owned business has been in the community for 40+ years and after trying the donuts it's obvious why. All of the donuts were super fresh, extremely fluffy, and so tasty, while the case and the rest of the shop was well maintained and clean...it's obvious a great amount of heart and care goes into their operation. We chose a variety of apple fritters, donut holes, old fashions, custard-filled, glazed, chocolate, maple, and a cinnamon crunch, cinnamon roll, and sugar twist donut along with a breakfast sandwich. Talk about choices! I mentioned to Sophia that I had a certain allergy and she immediately offered to special make a modified breakfast option for me without hesitation. Amazing donuts. Super fluffy and fresh. I came early in the morning for a mixed dozen + a bear claw and they were honestly the freshest and fluffiest donuts I've ever had. I love artisan donuts like sidecar donuts etc but these were even better! I'm not usually a fan of bear claw donuts because they're usually kinda dense, but their bear claw was so light and fluffy and the filling was warm and gooey The price was super cheap compared to the area as well around $16 I think for 1 dozen and a bear claw was around $2.25 read more

I stopped by here be sheer happenstance as I was in desperate need of coffee and wouldn't mind a donut. After having a sip of the really good coffee and talking to the super friendly woman behind the counter I ended up getting a dozen for the family and we are all very happy. We came on the weekend around 9 am and these guys were super busy. Happy to see that! We usually go for a different donut shop in town and wanted to try something new. I asked for a couple of danishes and donuts but the danishes weren't the open faced kind I'm used to. They seemed like folded up croissant dough with almost no filling in either the strawberry or the cheese one and the donuts were just okay. I am happy they are busy as a local business but I don't think we will come back. read more

Let me tell ya as someone who has mostly grown up near mom n pop donut shops, Danish & Donuts has continuously exceeded my expectations and satisfied all my craving both in form of delicious croissant sandwiches and soft fluffy the absolute best donuts. Susie, Annie and staff are always so welcoming and doing their best to keep all their guest happy. I appreciate all the work they do for the surrounding community as well. Open during COVID19. The customer service here is amazing! The woman working the counter was so friendly and chattery. When we picked out our 12 donuts (we originally came for 8, but she told us it would be a better deal/discount if we got a dozen). We are fans of yeast donuts so all 12 we chose were yeast. She was helpful in recommending different options and flavors and since she notice we didn't choose any cake donuts, she threw one in for free! It was so sweet of her! We also decided to get the boba slushees. We originally wanted milk tea, but the slush was so good and sweet! The boba was also pretty good quality. The donuts were good, but not particularly fresh (we went around 10AM on a Saturday. I would love to come back to just support this small shop! read more

If it wasn't for the ridiculously overpriced McDonald's in the same plaza, I wouldn't have ever known about this place. I'm not sure if it's inflation, or just free market capitalization, but $7.89 for an "Extra Value Meal" at MCDONALD'S?!? $8... am I required to leave tip on that too? Wow... I felt like I've been out of touch with society, or at least McDonald's prices. What's a gallon of milk go for now, like $50? Anyways, after I saw the prices at this particular McD's I looked around at what else was in this plaza. There was an El Salvadorean restaurant, which I thought to myself it's probably just lighter cleaner Mexican food. There was a Mexican market, and a cafe. I didn't feel like spending $10+ at a cafe, so I saw that there was a place called "Danish & Donuts" tucked in the corner of the plaza. Funnily enough the night before, I had just had a discussion with a friend about how the danish was really the start of my culinary career. See, back in first grade when I was a wee 6 year old, my mom told me to make my own sandwich so I did. Being the 6 year old that I was, I put whatever I wanted in my sandwich. Those 2 things happened to be strawberry jam, and cheese. Of course back then my mom yelled at me for making such a ridiculous sandwich and for the rest of my childhood I thought I was a failure as a sandwich maker. But later on I realized I had actually re-created the classic Dutch pastry. In any case, I had Danish on my mind and there it was, Danish and Donuts. So I walk on in and a little old Asian lady greets me and helps me in choosing which delectable pastry I wanted. I opted for the strawberry danish and was merrily on my way. The danish itself was good. Nothing spectacular, though leaps and bounds above my first edible creation. It was flaky, it wasn't too sweet, and overall it was your typical Dutch custardy goodness. I would have rated it about a 3 to 3.5 star. But what really made me decide to give Danish and Donuts 4 stars was that when I reached into my wax paper bag, there was a little sample donut. I didn't ask for it, but there it was. A little bitesize piece of donut that said "I know you wanted a danish today, but please come back another time and enjoy our donuts. I value your business." The little old lady didn't have to say it to me, but all of that was communicated to me through that bitesize piece. With mega Walmarts and the McD's of this world taking over, there is little room for mom and pop stores that create that atmosphere of valued patronage. But there is Danish and Donuts. read more

The ham and cheese croissants where pretty good but my only complaint which is totally based on preference where the solid real slices of jalapeños. I am use to the soft jalapeños melted inside. She also gave me some free donut holes as a surprised when I opened the bag. Good snack on the way home hungry. I don't actually like donuts all that much, but I have to pick them up for work now and again, and this place is walking distance from my house. Self-serve coffee and quick service. As can be expected, the lines get long around 7:30 am. There isn't a lot of seating, a few people will come and enjoy the paper but most folks grab-and-go. Prices are great! I've only tried the donut holes (which were great), but no complaints from my coworkers on the donuts! read more
