first time here from out of state! i'm from kansas city, mo and we don't have much boba places. once i found milk run on yelp, i had to try it out! the different cups and jars that were offered were cute! i got the milk run jar (not sure which drink i got, but it was delicious and pretty hehe). if i'm ever back in arizona, i am coming back!! read more

I got the AZ sunset with honey boba and Peach bits. I expected it to be mango-ey and sweet like some of the reviews say but it literally tastes like water (not even tea).. I hope it's just a one time thing but it still was a disappointment for sure read more

Stopped by this spot for some bubble tea. Was not disappointed. The plaza is a bit crazy when it's busy, ppl can't park! But the spot is pretty cute inside. All the drinks we got came out super delicious. They also have a punch card if you go there often. The bottles cost $1 more if you what that ig picture. I thought the rainbow drink was ok, not much flavor but that's just me. The matcha drink was delicious. Their Boba is also sweet and the right tenderness to it. read more

I felt this place was very inexpensive just looking at the prices and hoped that it wouldn't disappoint. I ordered the Peach Berry slush and it tasted good! I was a little nervous to try something being it was my first time but I can say it wont be my last time coming. I hope to try a new drink next time. I had a good experience. read more

I love milk run. This place is small and not trying to really do anything grand or gimmicky. But they make great Boba. Perfect for my sad girl days when I need a nice boba and think. There isn't really seating it's really a takeout place and the area it's located looks a bit secluded but all the people are super nice. I think it's just tucked in a very empty parking lot. You best believe this is the best boba in town. The staff are super sweet and the gaff looks clean and well decorated. The Thai iced tea with boba is the best I've had in and around Phoenix. Usually it is made too sweet for my liking but this is just right. They have a bunch of options for other drinks that look delicious. I know the vietnamese coffee is awesome (obviously) and the Arizona sunrise is tasty too. The drinks always look awesome when you get them too, I never want to shake and mix the milk in the drink because it looks so cool. read more

Finding good boba in Arizona can be a difficult task. Unfortunately, milk run is not an exception. I've had the taro milk tea with boba and the milk tea was overly sweet and the boba was on the harder side. That being said, there are other drinks that set Milk Run apart from other places in the area. First and foremost, their Vietnamese coffee floats. SO GOOD. It's the perfect drink on a hot summer day, a blend of creamy, rich ice cream with the caffeine of the Vietnamese coffee it definitely gives me enough energy to make it through my work day. The flavor of the Vietnamese coffee is different from traditional Vietnamese coffees I've had in the past, but still good in its own way. I've also had their mangonada, which is another refreshing drink in the summer. Not overly sweet, it's a good balance of flavor and the tamarind candy wrapped straw gives it a good burst of spiciness as well. Can't go wrong with this choice! Unless you're allergic to mangoes, then you probably want to stay away from this one. read more

I'm pretty much a regular at this place. My go to drink rotates between their milk tea and the "secret menu item" basil seed drink. Sometimes I'll sneak a nutella milk tea in between. My only gripe is that they should extend their hours past Pho Thanh's hours since the two businesses share a door. 8:30PM just ain't cutting it, ya'll can do better. Weekends starting on Friday should run to at least 10-11P. Please consider this Tho. read more

I am new to Boba and milk teas, an occasional indulgence. I purchased a split tea, one side Thai tea the other was a honeydew. Both were delicious! What I liked most was that they were not overly sweet like other bubble teas I have tried. Nice space and great customer service! read more

Boba SUCKS. No flavor to the boba tasted like chewing gum with no flavor. The drinks are really good though, nice and creamy. The AZ SUNSET was not the best even though many people get it, it tastes like ginger and is not the best. This place has alot of cute and fun looking drinks and combinations. Overall the drinks were fairly good, although a bit too sweet for my taste. I had a split cup with Thai tea and Matcha. The Thai was my favorite drink of the two though probably could do with a little less sweetener. The boba itself was fantastic in consistency and taste. Service was exceptional and very friendly. This place is conveniently located next to one of my favorite (one of the best in Phoenix, I think) pho restaurants, Pho Thanh! It's a cool little Shop. The inside is small but the space is very open, nice place to lounge and enjoy your drink! I always get the same drink... Taro milk tea with honey boba. It's great for any boba craving you may have. Their menu is limited, but the options they have should satisfy everyone. It's not too sweet and the taro milk tea has a good taro taste and texture, not watery or thin. Overall I think it's a great boba shop! Their glass bottles are good for an instagram photo-op and the drinks are cheap and tasty. It's always on my radar when I'm in the area! read more

This place has some bomb Thai tea ice cream!! There aren't many places around here that have this flavor so I know I'll keep coming back. I got the Thai Tea Float and the ice cream was so good that I had to also pick up a pint of it! The only thing I don't like is the boba, but it's probably just because of personal preference. I like my boba to be sweet and this tastes kinda bland to me. The drinks are good though! Totally worth a visit :) read more

Is the ice cream non dairy?

Most are not. The have a non dairy coconut vanilla option and it's pretty good.

Are only single-use cups allowed, or can customers bring in their own Milk Run bottles again?

They are only using the recyclable single-use plastic cups right now. They will be using the bottles again in the future; they just don't know when.

Are there any Sugar free options or one that uses Stevia instead of real sugar?

Not at this time unfortunately. As a diabetic I asked recently and no options

Yes. Almond, soy, coconut.

Is this store still open? Tried coming a few times during business hours but the store was closed and locked up. Is it open now?

Milk Run is open and our normal business hours are everyday 11am-8:30pm, and closed on Tuesdays. If you referring to Pho Thanh Restaurant next door then they are closed for Lunar New Year and will reopen on Sat, March 2nd.

We don't use creamer but we do offer soy and almond milk.

They were all so delicious but the whipped ricotta was my favorite! They do charge for refilling the bread just a heads up! We also got the fries and they were okay, definitely would pass on them next time but I enjoyed trying them. We also go the skirt steak which was delicious and the steak kabob! For the table, Camarones Locos is an easy choice. The flame grilled shrimp comes out hot and full of flavor, perfect for passing around. La Patrona ceviche tower is massive and worth the order. When it hits the table, you immediately feel good about the decision. El Pulpazo is technically an entrée, but we always order it as a shareable. The octopus is grilled perfectly and it comes with rice and beans, so everyone gets a little of everything. For entrées, my number one pick is the Lobster and Crab Enchiladas with green sauce. I think about this dish at least once a week. The enchiladas are packed with lobster and crab, and the green sauce ties the whole thing together. Honestly, I could talk about this place all day. For my main, I had the salmom rillete. Well made and pesented - I only thought to take pictures after I ate. I even chose to spend Mother's Day here this year because it has always been one of my favorite local spots. Over the years, we've brought our small 12-pound bichon on several occasions and comfortably dined on the patio without issue. Unfortunately, during today's visit, we were told that animals are no longer allowed on the patio and were instead directed to sit on the metal benches in front of the restaurant ...benches that had no table space and clearly were not set up for dining. What made the experience disappointing wasn't necessarily the policy itself, but the way it was handled. As longtime patrons who have supported this restaurant regularly for years to be on a regular basis with staff, the interaction felt dismissive and honestly a little offensive. It was surprising to feel so unwelcome at a place we've consistently supported and recommended to others. I still value this restaurant and appreciate the many good experiences we've had here over the years, which is why this visit was especially disappointing. I hope management takes customer loyalty and consistency of service more seriously moving forward.
