Mild Popcorn chicken and roasted honey with egg pudding
    Pheap S.

I love a milk tea spot that opens late. And the snacks are good! There's seatings and its clean. The milk tea is also pretty darn good. I had the roasted honey milk tea with egg pudding.

The best combo! Popcorn chicken with sriracha Mayo dipping sauce. The drink is the Matcha Milk Tea!

Every time we've come here the food has been absolutely above any expectation we had. Huge portions, great pricing, delicious and customizable drinks. It was absolutely 5 stars every time. Today though absolutely missed the mark food-wise and we hope it's not the new way of doing things. We ordered our favorite snacks- popcorn chicken and fried calamari. The popcorn chicken had far less breading which would normally be a welcome thing health wise but instead there was an increase of squishy texture and fat? It had so much fat my husband thought it was pork at first. When we ordered it we were anticipating it's regular 'crunchy' texture while also receiving enough to fill both of us (as has been the standard) but this time there wasn't enough chicken to fill the container it was in. To top it off, the container seemed smaller than previous times. The calamari was way too soft that I feel like I can't quite call it fried....more like baked & then steamed. The breading was crispy enough that it LOOKED crunchy but immediately started falling apart when you go to take it out of the container. The taste it the actual calamari was tender and delicious but a whole ring was not at its usual (or previous?) standard of excellence. They really skimped out on the quantity of the calamari too by making sure there was ample room for the dip and lemon wedges inside the container it comes in. Whereas before these containers were barely being kept shut because of house much calamari was in them WITH the lemon wedges. All in all the tea was absolutely the saving grace of this meal but the food quality fell wayyyy short of what we remembered. I'd probably try ordering the snacks once more but if this is the new standard of food then we won't be buying it at all and we'll stick to their tea.

This is another tea place that open late. Most places close by 9:30 pm but this place close at 12 am. Very unique on the time. This place attract different crowds after 9 pm. The Tea. And snack are average . Good to enjoy when you have the munchies. Go try it after hours

Mango milk tea with mango stars - watered down

tl;dr Watered down, basically undrinkable boba, but cool food machine in the corner My fiancée and I have been looking for possible boba caterers for our wedding and found Milk Tea Lab through a Google search. We came to this location to try it out to see if we liked it enough. When we entered at 3 pm the Sunday after Thanksgiving, it was empty. They're open super late until midnight, so maybe it's busier at those hours. Card transactions are required as it doesn't seem like they take cash. There is no human interaction until getting the drink as orders are taken on a tablet. My fiancée ordered the jasmine tea with honey boba (on the favorites list) and I got a mango milk tea with mango stars. My fiancé's grimacing face upon his first sip said it all. I tried it myself and confirmed that it tasted like strange water with boba. No tea taste at all. The boba was decently chewy though. My drink was noticeably better, with recognizable mango taste but a slightly powdery mouthfeel. The mango stars were my favorite part of the drink, so the toppings are good here at least. Considering both drinks, unfortunately I cannot recommend Milk Tea Lab for boba. We didn't try the food here, but it's definitely a no go for boba.

Plaza parking but it is tiny- abt 20 car spaces available Online order via their website is available! In-person, it'll be self-serve kiosk for placing orders and no cash is accepted Their smallest size here is (L)arge and is a 24oz and their biggest size is (G)iant and is 32oz...on the online portal I was wondering what "G" could possibly stand for lol Placed an online order Mango Green Tea with lychee jelly - standard and on the sweeter side so I added some green tea to it at home haha Jasmine Milk Tea with boba - tea flavor isn't very present but overall still OK, boba was a nice soft chew to it Popcorn chicken - 3.5/5 $7 for the portion was alright since I've paid more for less, pretty standard snack in terms of taste and I liked the spice, it helped scratch the itch for popcorn chicken but think it's overall OK Summer hours are great~ 3pm to 12am so it'll definitely be popular + I'll keep it in mind if I ever need a late-night place with friends

Jenga and Boba tea kind of day!

Cute, cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The decor was trendy and modern, with a touch of Chemistry influence that gave the place a unique flair. But of course, the real star of the show was the Tiger Milk boba tea. Absolutely delicious. I love how you can adjust the ice level to zero unlike some other Boba places. I highly recommend this boba tea place to anyone looking for a cozy and delicious tea experience. The tea and snacks are top-notch, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. I'll definitely be coming back here again!

This store is located in a very tiny strip mall. Cute, modern, clean place with a chemistry flair. They have a crane arcade game and a ramen vending machine, which also does pho, udon, and rice. We didn't try it but, we liked the concept that you can get something late night. Very cool. One kiosk (accepts credit card, no cash) to order from. If using cash, I guess they would have a person take your order. It's a pretty cool place to hang out as they have tables/chairs inside and a karaoke machine inside. They just had music playing when we went. I got the Classic Milk Tea with honey boba. I think the boba was soft and chewy - good. The MT itself was a bit weak or too light. They have a lot of drink options and interesting ones as well. The drinks are on the pricey side. I wish they had more descriptions for some of them. Like a drink named Star Wars - Trust me, I know what the reference is. If it was blue milk looking...it's yellowish-orange like a fruit tea. Bottom line, what's in it? Overall, I like the concept and design. I like that they are open til very late - midnight. Most places close at 9pm. I'd go back to try some other drink flavors.

Peach Milk Tea & Jasmine Milk Tea

Was craving boba and this was the closest one nearby as we were on aa time crunch. Entrance is located on the opposite side from the street with a handful of parking. There were a couple people already waiting for their drinks as my friends and I put in our drink orders on the kiosk. I placed my order first and it came out within 5 mins.. friend after me got her drink about 5 mins after me. My other two friends got their drinks after a family of 5-6 people who placed their order after us.. not sure how this happened but we were there for over 45 mins (5+ drinks & snacks came out before my friend's 2 drinks). When we asked, they did not apologize but instead said they are behind and working on it.. somehow the orders got mixed up. The peach milk tea and jasmine milk tea were super watery. After reading a few other reviews, it seems like other customers were also experiencing this. I was super curious of the milk tea hot pot experience but I don't think I will be back due to the first bad experience I had here.

Milk tea lab has been one of our go-to milk tea spots whenever we're craving a fix. I would say they're mostly consistent with their drinks with my absolute favorite being the mango lover. Make sure you adjust the sweetness because they're definitely on the sweeter side! Also their popcorn chicken is indisputably the most bang for your buck. I love that they're always well seasoned, crispy and pack the box to the brim!

    Honey Roasted Milk Tea (L)
    Alisa B.

2.5 stars. This place is a last resort boba shop for me... The only appeal for me is the late night hours. The milk tea "hot pot" is just a gimmick. The service is always slow and the prices have gone up gradually. Their smallest size (without toppings) is almost $7 now after tax. I usually get the Jasmine Milk Tea or the Honey Roasted Milk Tea. These can honestly be a hit or kiss for me though. The tea flavor sometimes comes through; other times it can be watered down. Not a fan of the tonic drinks here. It's just a can of Sprite with some artificial syrups mixed in.

Super cute and I love that the menu has a wide variety of fruit teas and milk teas, as well as SNACKS. Not many boba places do that any more (especially for the franchises in SoCal), so huge W for me. You can order ahead of time to pick up or you can order from their kiosk screen. They'll text you when the order is done. Definitely worth signing up for their points rewards systems especially since there are so many Ume Teas in NorCal and I believe they carry over to each one. I got their Crème Brûlée Thai Tea since it's a nice sweet dessert drink and I wanted something along the sort after having a very savory dinner. Also wanted our friend to try a bit since he has never really had milk tea before and doesn't like tea in general. He did enjoy this drink and said it was like a cake in a cup. So true! It's a simple Thai tea that's sweetened by the creme brulee cream smeared on the sides of the cup inside. Just mix it up well and it's a yummy dessert drink. My boyfriend got a 0% sweet milk tea and enjoyed it. I also got a fragrance ornament (you drop the scent oil on top and you can get it in 2 scents, I got the pear one) and a cute bunny plushie clip/drink holder and surprisingly it was only $4. I've seen boba places charge more for their merch. Really love how Ume has a lot of merch that's unique and affordable, ranging from stickers, plushies, tumblers, collab items, and much more. There's photo ops here. Though the bunny is a bit scuffed and dirty (wish it was a bit cleaner, would have been perfect for photos). Solid Ume Tea location.

Slightly my fault for coming ~50 minutes before close since I know it's usually a time that most smaller boba shops don't have fresh boba, but, as usual, old soggy-ish boba sucks. Banana cream/topping actually pretty solid, matches similar flavors from some of my other favorite banana matcha spots like Aroma/Haiku. Matcha itself, kind of a bit weaker which was not as fun. So I appreciate, not being hounded with 90% ice and 10% drink, but there needs to be a balance, as the drink basically came lukewarm with no ice to help it cool down into a nicer temperature to drink. Ambiance is a bit nicer/more modern than what Tleaf Teapresso had, although that may just be due to the holiday decor. Pricing is a bit high, although the sizing does match the pricing a bit nicer than most spots so this is a hit or miss for me. Overall I think it's just a matter of trying them out at a better time that they have fresher ingredients.
