I'll always say yes to boba. When I heard about the banana matcha, you know I was down. The banana matcha is really good, with the perfect balance of banana and matcha flavors. Plus, at most places, the matcha settles at the bottom and you can taste the powder, but here, the matcha powder is definitely dissolved, which I enjoy because nobody wants a matcha drink that tastes like powder. They also had other new hojicha drinks. They are good, but I wasn't a fan. If you love earthy matchas, you'll love these new drinks. They are very earthy and strong, but I had the hojicha with coffee, so I didn't enjoy it as much. The inside is breathtaking. It's got good vibes and a very aesthetic look. I love the walls. It gives off a New York style with exposed brick walls. It's a great place to study.

Cute little place that's well decorated and welcoming for a hang out or study! I was a bit confused at the kiosk because you are only able to add one topping and if you want more than one, you would have to order at the register with a worker. One of the workers kindly explained this to me as I added a little note to my drink wanting an additional topping and that I'd pay at the register upon review of the note. What I didn't know was that the note appears on all drinks ordered, which made it confusing [for them] so I appreciated the explanation for next time :) Drinks are good - I ordered the matcha cloud and the flavor was interesting. I had expected it to be sweeter but it was mild and wasn't able to be customized, at least with the kiosk. The boba was very chewy, I loved it! There were so many options I wanted to try them all!

I had the pleasure of trying this boba spot in San Jose. I didn't know that this place was here until recently so I decided to check it out. The interior is very cute. It doesn't seem to get that busy so you can usually find a table and it doesn't take long for your order. I got one of their new drinks, the hojicha latte with black sesame foam. I love the combination of the two. My boyfriend got the honeydew green tea and loved that one just as much. Can't wait to try their other drinks!

Super cute, plant-filled tea spot with cozy, rustic vibes. The green bisou and black sesame were my favs since both of them had a bold & earthy taste. The pistachio cream top was so good, and the strawberry croffle was delicious!

I would say by far, this is the best Takoyaki I've had compared to other boba places. It always so fresh and so good. It does take a while to come out, which is understandable! Don't even get me started on the drink, me and my boyfriend would always get the mango green tea or milk tea. I recently try the white peach oolong and it's going on my list of top three drinks from here! The service here are always so nice and welcoming, and they keep the place clean too! Which I really appreciate it.

Went on a rainy day so it was empty inside but it was such a cute atmosphere that I would've totally wanted to sit and hang with my friends! Ordered one of their new drinks the green bisou which was matcha with a pistachio cream top. Sooo good! I would get it with less sweetness next time though.

Visited again on a Sundar afternoon and the shop was empty. I heard that they had new drinks on the menu so I ordered a Roasted Nutcracker (Hojicha latte with pistachio cream top). I tasted the cream top and it tasted like pistachio and was slightly sweet and slightly salty. It tasted so good on its own but combined with the Hojicha latte, it definitely elevated the drink. The Hojicha had a roasted flavor and isn't watered down like some boba shops would make it. I'm excited to try the other new drinks, especially the coconut water matcha cloud.

It's so pretty in here! It's small, but they did a great job with the space.. (it's been about 10 years since I last visited). Ordered a roasted oolong with coffee jelly and a popcorn chicken ($17 without tip) They're both good. I really liked my tea. The chicken portion is on the smaller side... and there's only flavor on top.. wish there was those places that put the spices outside so you can season it yourself. Another weird thing is that none of their menus have pricing.. so the total is just a surprise at the end, lol.

I really enjoyed this boba spot! The boba was so good and definitely fulfilled my expectations. I loved how many options they offer -- from coffee and matcha to slushies and shaved ice cream. There's so much to choose from, which makes it a great place for different cravings. The food, however, was a bit disappointing. I tried the garlic fries and a sandwich, but everything was cold. I was really looking forward to hot, delicious garlic fries, so that was a letdown, and the sandwich didn't stand out either. That said, I absolutely fell in love with the place itself. It's aesthetically pleasing, clean, and calm -- perfect for hanging out or getting some work done. The decor is beautiful and totally my vibe. I especially appreciated the real plants; they really elevate the space and make it feel cozy and welcoming. Overall, I'd give this place a 4 out of 5. It was almost perfect -- the drinks and atmosphere were amazing, but the food could definitely be improved. Btw service was great. The guy helped us figure out what we wanted ( I came in with my two kids, we ordered a lot, but he was nice and patient, so thank you.)

My First time here at this Pop Up Tea, Coffee and Snacks! Super Glad I came across this Welcoming and Charming Boba Shop. I came to this side of town to meet my friends 4 lunch and have been wanting to visit this place for quite sometime now. Loving the indoor and outdoor seatings area. Cool, Cute, and Cozy interior setting too! Drinks are great for my taste. Many Great Snacks Options here as well! Will absolutely come back to try other items and food on their menu!

Pop Up Tea is hands-down my new favorite boba spot! The moment you walk in, you're greeted with the coziest vibe and friendliest staff. Their drinks are delicious & Who doesn't love a boba shop that's Instagram-worthy and tasty? They got a area decorated with cute Christmas decor where you can take selfies The menu has such a fun variety, and everything I've tried so far has been amazing! Their house milk tea is perfectly sweet and creamy, and the egg pudding is also a great topping. I also love their avocado smoothie with ice cream so creamy, like a sip of happiness! What really makes Pop Up Tea stand out is the little details: thoughtful customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to stay and sip all day. If you're in San Jose and craving boba, you have to pop by Pop Up Tea. It's a total 10/10 experience every time!

I ordered the Power Panini, which is a chicken sandwich with pesto, mozzarella, greens, and roasted tomatoes on multigrain wheat bread. Wow was it good. I loved everything about it, including the bread. It was pretty big, too. I asked the cashier if I could get plain apple juice, which wasn't on the menu, and she offered to make a fresh squeezed drink or one from store bought apple juice. I went with store bought and it tasted great. My sister had The Incredibowl, which is organic açaí, different kinds of fruit, granola, almond butter and milk, and honey. She seemed to enjoy it at first and then pushed it away when she got about halfway through. Not sure what happened. The cafe is small and cozy with just a few tables inside and a few more outside. We were the only customers inside, which was nice. The staff was quick to make our food and friendly. I also want to mention they had the best '70s music playing softly overhead. I'll definitely be back for another Power Panini.

I ordered the Power Panini with chicken and multi-grain bread and a green tea. Luckily, we got there when it wasn't busy, so all tables were available. Our food was brought out to us in a bag, which I thought was weird since we were dining in. My sandwich was hot and very delicious. The chicken was very tender and not dry at all. My green tea was iced cold and refreshing. My husband enjoyed his salad but thought the beef texture was off and tasted old. He said he wouldn't order it again. But the salad part was very good and fresh. He enjoyed his kombucha. He thought the nutty açaí bowl was just okay and didn't taste any peanut butter. We think they forgot to add it. I didn't like the nutty açaí bowl. I didn't care for the flavor. I prefer the açaí bowls at Palmetto Superfoods. I'd probably come back for the sandwich but nothing else.

Typically I'm skeptical of places with huge menus like that (quality over quantity mindset) but I was soon to be proven wrong. I ordered the mango lemon breeze from their jasmine series, a basil popcorn chicken, and a tofu dish. The drink was super refreshing, had fresh mango chunks and a big serving of perfectly chewy boba. The drink was definitely 10/10. The chicken was super hot and crispy, definitely fresh from the fryer. They seasoned it really well, and garnished with basil and garlic. Unfortunately, it was a little dry, and could have used a dipping sauce. Overall the chicken was a 8.5/10. This brings us to our final dish, the tofu. It was a more silky tofu, which was harder to skewer, but still tasted delicious. The presentation was beautiful (see below) the mayo, teriyaki, and furikake toppings gave the tofu great flavor and looks. Definitely a 10/10 dish. And after moving to San Jose 3 years it has truly become one of my comfort spots. Every single time I walk in, I'm taken care of. The staff is kind, efficient and have been pretty friendly every time I come in. My usual is the Jasmine Green Tea with honey and boba, and it never disappoints. The tea is always fresh and fragrant, not bitter, and not watered down like other boba spots. The honey adds that smooth sweetness without overpowering the jasmine, and the boba is consistently soft and chewy. If you're a texture person like me, you know that matters. What I appreciate most is the consistency. In a world where service can feel rushed or impersonal, this location keeps it simple and does it right for me. Clean space, quick service, quality drinks, and some pretty bomb food! I highly suggest their Y22 Beef Don Buri Rice Bowl. My absolute favorite.
