The Mill Creek Inn is a warm inviting place that is usually hopping with fun waiters and waitresses that really know what they're doing! They are very fast and efficient and friendly. As for the food. Here is where my review takes a turn. I have had their beef sandwiches 2 different times now. Both times were quite disappointing. The beef tastes old...very old and has a funky taste as if it has been sitting around for a while. It is also overcooked and not tender. My husband has had the burgers which I have tasted and the burger is good. Their bloody Mary is very good!! So we will come back for the drinks and burgers. But if The Mill is reading this...do yourselves a big favor and check your meat. read more

Bomb dot com wings, one of the best wings I've ever had in my life. Super awesome dive bar, local restaurant joint with great weekday specials and happy hour drinks. The "Insane Infused Bloody Mary" is totally worth it and great either as a appetizer meal or to share among a few people. Staff was amazing, very friendly with great recommendations. Great food! Been here a couple times. 1st time was to try a giant bloody mary. It's enough to share and comes with bacon, olives, cheese cubes, chicken wings and enough other stuff to be it's own appetizer! This most recent time was with a larger group. The brisket sandwich has a decent portion of smoked brisket. It needed some more seasoning but the spicy BBQ sauce with it was a good compliment. Their slaw is amazing! Sh2redded broccoli, brussel sprouts, apples and other stuff in a sweet, savory dressing! Our group also had a black and blue burger, which was excellent, and a smokehouse burger which was exceptional! The smokehouse was gigantic! It's a burger with bacon, pulled pork, onion rings and BBQ sauce! Hard to go wrong with that combo. We also tried some fried pickles. TWO FOR ONE TAP BEERS- All day everyday. This place was pleasantly surprisingly great. The beer deal and a menu that offers enough exciting options each person toggled between a few options. I admit we were intimidated at first because it looked busy but it's large and we were seated immediately in a cozy booth. Admittedly we felt a bit like invading city folk to the spread of locals, but this place is popular and for good reason. We had the Reuben balls and fried pickles as starters. Both were tasty and I recommend them. The only weird thing was the pickles were hot, but the Reuben balls were lukewarm. That certainly didn't stop us, but was noticeable. Lover pants had the Day Breaker Burger. He loves breakfast and this burger IS breakfast. It's got ham, an egg, hash browns, gravy and is perfect. It wasn't as sloppy as we anticipated. If your favorite food is breakfast this is your jam! I had the Brisket Grilled Cheese. It was fabulous! My love affair with cheese was on full display. This had plenty of gooey cheese and the brisket was tender and plentiful. If I had total control, I would have had just a bit less of the BBQ sauce. It made the bread soggier than preferred. Ultimately the bread held together. I would order it again in a heartbeat. I opted for the onion rings because onion rings rock....The breading on the onion rings had a sweet flavor. I like that but not everyone would. Service was speedy and helpful. Hit this spot up when visiting lovely Buffalo. The outdoor seating looks enjoyable if summer ever shows its face in Minnesnowtah. Be sure to keep your eye out for the discreet sign on a lonesome highway. Designate your most responsible friend to sit shotgun and prevent you from making a U-turn... my responsible friend did not help me navigate, but DID drive me home after slamming some of those 2 for 1 beers. Holy crap, I had the best bloody of MY LIFE at Mill Creek!!!! The Insane Infusion bloody is 22 ounces of bloody, fixings galore and comes with a pint chaser. There's a picture of it on the menu and when I saw it I got supper giddy!! I pointed to it and said "I'll have that". I couldn't wait for it to arrive. I was seriously beside myself. Other people in our party ordered food, but I was not paying attention to a thing. I was focused on being ready for my masterpiece to arrive. I sent a text to a follow bloody loving friend and we geeked out for a bit. Meanwhile, my pint chaser (summer shady - my pick) arrived and so did a PLATE. I about died. My drink needs it's own plate! And then. The heavens opened up and it arrived. Food for the table did too, but I only had eyes for my bloody. IT WAS EVERYTHING! I didn't know where to start so I took about a thousand pictures, smiled and did other things you'd expect to see a five year old do on Christmas morning. This it what was IN my bloody: 6 olives 4 chicken wings 3 onion rings 2 strips of bacon 2 shrimp 1 meat sick 1 giant whole pickle 1 pickled egg Blocks of cheese and pepperoni Stalk of celery IT WAS SO GOOD! Had one of my best meals Garden walleye with the MCI sauce. It was delicious and like always great service at the bar, server and the staff.

Found this place on Yelp and went mid week, late afternoon for an early supper. Sat on the patio, great outdoor seating, lots of umbrellas for ample shade. The service was fast and friendly. This is a tricky review because of the simple fact I've only eaten here once. But here is why I'm giving it five stars. Every day there are food and drink specials. BOGO for beer, all day every day, and for other drinks during HH. There is a modest selection of good beers available, and a very nice (and filling) bloody option, which they infuse their own peppery vodka for. From what I understand, BBQ is something this place is known for, and after trying the brisket, I can unequivocally tell you it was the best I've ever had. Also check out their monster prime rib. You will be drooling. Seeing pics of other dishes, I know I can't wait to get back to try others, and hope that they are similarly delectable. The one downside here is that they WILL NOT seat you if your entire party is not present. And believe me, they don't mind losing hundreds of dollars to maintain this policy. Keep this in mind. The servers I've had have been really nice, and the kitchen actually stays open later on weekends, which for a smaller town is quite nice. read more

I don't feel you get the value for your money here. Roughly $15.00 for a burger - come with chips, you want fries add another $2.00. So you are looking at $20.00 for more for a burger and drink. And then if you choose to pay with a card, add another 3.5% to your bill. I firmly believe that credit usage fees are a cost of doing business - here they are a cost for the customer. This is too bad, Mill Creek has been a fun summer stop on the motorcycle for a number of years. read more

This is my to go place for prime rib. It is offered on Friday and Saturday evenings and it's worth every bite. I typically bring so much of it home and I love that I can enjoy this more then once! This place is amazing! Some friends of ours told us about it and we went on a Saturday evening for the prime rib special. The prime rib was only $24 and was 2 1/2 to 3 pounds of meat. It was not only huge, It was fantastically delicious. We have been back several times since and Monday nights are taco night ($1 tacos) so it is very busy but worth the wait. Sunday is also very crowded because it is one dollar hamburger night and they have drink specials. Again, worth the wait. The staff is always fantastic and very friendly. The positives: Nightly specials, big outdoor deck (no great views), pull tabs, low prices, hometown bar feel, Sundays are awesome with 2 for 1's and 25 cent wings. I heard so much about their Bloody Mary so we decided to go there for Father's Day dinner. We go there around 4pm, it was not busy yet, we ordered our food, and I also ordered a Bloody Mary. I was very excited and waited patiently for the banquet of edibles in the drink. When it finally came, I was shocked. It was not fancy and not worth $4. The people behind us also ordered bloody Marys too and theirs looked pretty fancy with lots of edibles on sticks and an American flag. I felt slighted. But the burgers were good. We didn't get our drinks refill. We didn't see our server until another server gave us our tab, then our server came and took payment and we left. Their sour cream came in a single serving package like what you would get at the had station or from s fast food place. They no longer have the sampler appetizer basket. Last 2 times we ate here we were rudely kicked out of the table we sat at by the table patrol gal ( that is a new employee) because we came in the back door not knowing we had to make our reservations at the front door? this was during the week and never needed to do this before. I have been eating here for over 30 years. A few changes in ownership during that time but a few things have remained consistent that brings me back even though I don't live in Buffalo anymore. Fabulous wait staff. Friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Ribs, a smokey sauce on top of fall off the bones ribs makes these tops on the menu.
