The market is exceptionally clean, well organized, and beautifully maintained. Everything was neatly displayed, making it easy to browse without feeling rushed. Working behind the counter was Ms. Jenna. She greeted us with a warm smile and a friendly, welcoming attitude that made us feel right at home. She kindly let us know that if we needed anything, all we had to do was ask. We took our time wandering through the store, looking at all the unique items they had to offer. I couldn't leave empty-handed, so I picked up two bags of their chipotle-flavored pecans as souvenirs for my brothers. Whether they'll share them with anyone else is another story entirely. The Homestead Market is a really neat place and well worth a visit. I have no doubt I'll be back the next time I'm in the area. Maybe I'll see you there!

While the food selection is a bit limited there are great specialty items available. There is a large quantity of organic, raw, and vegan supplements. The household and body natural care selection is nice and you'll find some rarities you won't see at larger "natural" chains. This is another Bring Your Own Bag friendly location and a local business that I would recommend to others and happily support.

I'm sure one reason they've been around that long is because of the great food a great service. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. I've stopped in several times when passing thru Marble Falls and have never been disappointed. They have everything you can think of-- alternative organic vegan health related; even crystals, books--you name it. Also, they have a kitchen that serves up fresh health food daily--what must be the best tasting health food I think I've ever had. This place feels like home. Almost makes me wish I lived in Mineral Wells. Everything is Gluten Free and Dairy Free--even the sweeties. So, if you have any food, allergies or sensitivities, this is the place. They also offer all kinds of health and healing modalities and therapies in the back. I'm usually just passing thru whenever I stop by, so haven't checked out their other services yet, but they do have an online sight where you can find more info. The frozen entree dishes are my fav. Prices are reasonable for this type of fare--except certain supplements I found in the apothecary, I thought are a bit overpriced, IMO. But on the upside--if there's something you need they probably have it. Regular parking is usually no problem with plenty of spaces out front just off Highway 281. If, however, you're like me, pulling a travel trailer or driving a big rig, then the best option is to park on Northwood Drive where there's plenty of free street curb parking available and then take a short walk to the store. I walked up and down every single aisle in the whole store scanning the huge variety of products offered for sale. I noticed the staff members were diligently working stocking the shelfs, cleaning as they worked. This store is very clean, very well organized. As I completed my tour of this store I walked up to the exit doors and I stopped and paused for maybe 3 to 4 seconds then I proceeded to my vehicle got in and I sat there and felt a bit sad , I feel like it was because the whole time I was looking over your store I was never looked at or spoken to by any of your staff members. The business owner refused to refund or exchange the item, insisting it wasn't his fault. For an $18.00 product, this level of inflexibility and lack of empathy was surprising and unnecessary. As a business owner, he writes off losses every year, so accommodating a clearly defective item should not have been an issue. This kind of treatment makes me not want to patronize this establishment again, and I will be sure to let others know how they choose to operate.

So we headed out to Natural Grocers and they do have them. I've decided to look for Duck Fat and yes they have them. I use it to cook. It has K2 Vitamin properties and you know what they say, its better to eat your food than taking supplements. But if you got only supplements why not. I also bought MCT oil and my mom also bought Jarrows: Glutathione supplements. We really loved it here. I just ran out of Duck Fat, I am due again to return and get a new jar. I should stock them up.

The baked fries were defiantly a hit! Fresh, unlike anywhere you'll find. Overall a bit pricey but that is the cost of natural organic food. Pizza was ok but the fries what made this place stand out.
