The wild rice soup was so bad I wonder if it was rotten, and the turkey wrap was worse than the ones you get at the convenience store but 3x the cost. The pilsner was great, though. On the food alone I'd probably give two or three stars, but they also have a 15% junk fee, AND they have something set up wrong such that they overcharge on taxes, which of course nobody there knows how to fix. It's a cool location but the business practices are bad enough to merit the worse possible review.

Had zero idea that this existed and was thrilled to stumble across it! Located inside the trail park building, you will find a lovely establishment with large windows that allow natural sunlight in, long community tables that are very good for meetings or general working stations and then individual smaller tables - all which have electrical outlets. What a joy it was to have a quiet place for the day to do work emails and enjoy a DELICIOUS breakfast. Days have passed since I came here and I'm still craving the fluffy egg sandwich. This is not something that was microwaved - it was clearly made fresh and I enjoyed every bite. I paired the sandwich with a cup of fruit and a chai tea latte. Once you order, you will get a beeper which is very nice to understand when your order is ready for pickup vs. looking each time. I am very impressed! Yum, yum, yum.

We had a wonderful experience at the Mill Valley Market inside the Theodore Wirth Trailhead building! We just moved to the neighborhood and walked here with friends for a weekend morning stroll and snack. They were about to close up to prep for a wedding but got our order in. LOCATION: You can go inside to order and sit at one of the several seating options inside, or order from the window outside and sit outside on their patio furniture. FOOD/DRINK: I loooved my iced chai - one of the best I've had recently! We also got some banana bread to split - a huge, delicious loaf! It was served with herb butter which seemed like an odd pairing, but it kinda worked. The menu is limited to simpler, light bfast and lunch options and a bit on the spendier side, but SO nice to have a spot like this here. SERVICE: The team welcomed us warmly, got our food and drink efficiently, and told us a bit about the space, their wedding/catering setup, etc. This will be a frequent neighborhood spot for us!

To be clear, I liked the food here (I did give this 4 stars), but there's no question you pay a few extra dollars for your meal because of the trail adjacent views and atmosphere. They make a decent cold press and their chicken sandwich is a bit small, but tastes great.

$9.16 wow...so overpriced...love the atmosphere but value menu no way...

$9.16 for this 1/4 waffle with five blueberries and a strawberry ...great atmosphere but wow

Hot ham and cheese sandwich on their patio

Mill Valley Market, within Theodore Wirth, will be a go-to for us through every season. We ordered takeout on a snowy evening, and we really enjoyed sticking around and eating it by the bonfire. Process: Order ahead online or walk up to their window, masked. I got the "Hot ham and cheese sandwich": delicious compart duroc shaved ham, smothered in an indulgent cheese sauce, housemade pickles on the perfect roll. He got: the "chicken sandwich": Wild Acres smoked chicken, soft baguette, fig jam, brie cheese, arugula. Plus fries and vegan chili. Everything was incredible! That was the best ham sandwich I've ever had, and the smoked chicken was flavorful, tender and juicy. The chili was comforting and the fries were super crispy. The service was wonderful to boot! Our order was done on time, they were friendly, and even came out to ask how everything was when we were happily eating it by the outdoor fire while enjoying their live music.

I had heard good things and it was on my list for a while so was excited to try it. Clean place. I ordered at the counter. They told me there would be a 10 mins or so wait for my sandwich which was fine. Ordered my 12 inch turkey pastrami which is their most popular sandwich and a bottled drink. The total was 22 and change before tip which I thought was a little steep. The sandwich came in 4 pieces. Had the pastrami, tomato, pickle, peppers on a soft bread. The bread was fresh and soft. The sandwich was filled well with a good ratio of filling to bread. The taste was very well balanced and fresh. I wish there was more of the pastrami. Overall, I had a good and tasty lunch even though a little expensive. Happy to support a local black owned business. PASS: - My partner and I both remarked that there wasn't much cheese on our pizzas - maybe we're just dairy fanatics, but I could've used a lot more! - I found my Bianca pizza a bit dry, though the flavor was good - the fries were soggy by the time it was delivered, and it was a really small portion. I just can't quite get over the amount it cost. Which I guess might be why there aren't any prices listed on the menu signs. Like, my hubbie and I DIDN'T get drinks or chips or a side or dessert. None of that. Just a sandwich for the each of us and it was $30. If we had added stuff, I bet we'd've run the bill up to $50 in no time. For lunch! Gotta be trippin'! I like supporting small local business when I can but I think this place isn't in my budget.
