I've had some bad experiences with Mexican seafood so I was a little hesitant. But they advertise their seafood so figured I'd roll the midnight puketrain dice and see. Am I glad I did!! The raw shrimp tostada was amazing. Piled high with shrimp, cabbage and tomatoes and generously doused in lime juice I was shoveling that baby in just as fast as it would go. Mmm, mmm, mmm. The mix tostada was good too but not quite as awesome as the shrimp. The chips and salsa were terrific. The margarita was good even if it was heavy on the ice. And Sandra was a sweetheart in English, Spanish or Spanglish, you choose. The worst part of the night was being drawn into the goofy action movie starring The Rock. Came here today after finding a deal on amazon local. When we first sat down at one of the booths, I instantly was discouraged from staying, as I almost toppled over and hit myself against the table because the booth seat is broken. I let it slide and decided to order. I ordered the "Carnitas de Pescado" & my boyfriend ordered "Camarones-Estilo El Ranchito." The Carnitas de Pescado, is basically fried fish nuggets. They are really good, well seasoned and with a nice crunch. These come with a chipotle dipping salsa, which is pretty good, not spicy at all, just extra flavor for the fish, which the fish can be enjoyed alone. The Camarones- Estilo El Ranchito were just okay, you really couldn't taste the crab stuffing. We would have given this place a 4 star if they didn't use canned beans and prepackaged rice. Fresh beans and homemade rice are always better than the prepackaged junk, even if the beans are Rosarita. The tortillas were hand-made; hence why I added the extra star. A downside was that we originally hadn't met the $40 requirement of the voucher; therefore, when we decided to place an extra order to go, our server, Ingrid, informed us we couldn't take this last order to go. Really? The voucher did not state "dine-in only" plus we had already dined in, what difference would it have made to take it to go!? Ridiculous. Overall, we might return to give this place one more chance, but we wouldn't go out of our way to return. read more

I have visit their location on Soto and the food and service is great. I went to this location because the other location was closed. We ordered a Mexican combination which comes with a Chile relleno, enchilada and taco. Well they totally forgot the Chile relleno, we had to tell the waitress who seemed surprised it was missing. It took them about 20 minutes to bring it, she said the cook confused the combination. When it came the cheese was burnt like rubber! read more

I want to start by saying that customer service was spot on. Our waitress took good care of us. The menu had a lot of seafood. Which is what I expected, so I was not disappointed. I order a plate of shrimp. and I am 100 percent that that was the best shrimp I have ever eaten in my life. My cousin thinks that food was the best food he's ever had in his life the rice was cooked to perfection and the big fat steak. I LOVE the Burritos de asada mojados en chile verde! besides the wet burritos being delicious their only $6.50! BUT you get a side salad chips and salsa. Me and my boyfriend always get 2 burritos to go and our check always comes out to $13. When we do eat there around $16 cause of our drinks.
