I had a little bit of an emergency on my next and back. I had insane amounts of pain and needed relief badly! I had been interested in trying this place for a while. After calling with my needs, the owner recommended I try the CBD massage to alleviate pain. What I liked was, the owner came in and assessed how much pressure I would need to help. After an hour, I walked out nearly in tears from relief, called my mom right away to express my happiness lol. Although the pain did not go away completely, it was better and I was able to move my neck again and sleep better. I got a stress relief massage and a basic facial for my first visit, and unfortunately my experience was less than pleasant.. the massage was extremely painful to the point where I am in considerable pain nearly five hours later. I usually wouldn't complain however I told her the pressure was too hard multiple times but she persisted, stating my back and neck is just tight. I'm still in shock at how severely hurt my neck is, and unfortunately it doesn't look like I'll be sleeping well tonight. The extraction process during my facial was less of an extraction and more of the feeling of my skin being scraped. I verbally asked her to stop scraping my skin and I told her she was being too hard on my skin but she just apologized and continued. I was trying to keep a positive outlook over the experience but my jawline is inflamed significantly more than any other facial I have ever received. it seems I must have been bleeding at a few of the overaggressive extraction points before she applied the final mask. On a positive side the front desk staff was extremely pleasant to deal with. read more

Thanks for responding, but the information provided above is not true. I did not know how firm the "hard" pressure would be. I asked her to apply less, and she did not. I was asked repeatedly for the add on of hot stone, not just once. As you were not in the room, I am not sure how you would know.I did give you 3 stars at the time, which isn't horrible. I was there on vacation, and so I will not have the opportunity to return to this location to give you a second chance. Instead of trying to defend each issue I brought up, just accept that your spa is not for everyone. I am now changing my star rating. read more

I recently had a massage last week at another spot in Springfield... They killed my experience by being too forceful on trying to sell me on different products!! They wouldn't take no for an answer and kept trying to up sale me even during my massage!!!! Needless to say that I won't go back there for a massage anymore. Then I arrived here and thank god!!!! They are extremely welcoming and professional. I love the fact that they have you fill out exactly what you want done, areas you want them to focus on and the different ranges for pressure (soft, medium,hard). I was gifted a massage here for my birthday. I had never been here prior. I went in and the staff was welcoming and the environment was very clean & socially distanced. My masseuse was Lynn, and she was amazing! I had the 1hr full body massage. She had the perfect balance of pressure that didn't hurt at all, but was deep enough to really release muscle tension. I had THE best sinus massage today by Susan! I didn't even know I could get one done. It was amazing. Once Susan started massaging my sinuses I could breathe immediately. I was referred by a friend to Soothing Zen. I was told that this Spa is one of the best spas in this area. I got the First Time Special for one hour massage and one hour facial. Cici was my therapist. She was friendly, caring and professional. She focused on the areas that are very tight without me telling her. The facial with her was also very relaxing. I fall asleep during my facial and I noticed my skin was much softer after. I had concerns over my aged skin and the Casmara mask worked perfectly to reduce the wrinkles. First of all I have been here on a couple of occasions. Everyone is so professional, unlike other spas they do not pressure you into buying alot of stuff you probably might not use. Me and my gf always get a couple massage which is VERY relaxing. Hint-- as a guy I always ask for Jessica, she is great. Jessica was my therapist. She was amazing. Easily one of the best massages I've had in some time. And 90 minutes is only $90. Fantastic value. And we used a $70 for $90 Yelp coupon so BOOYAH. $70 for 90 minutes. I ended up adding hot stones onto it...so glad I did.
