I went for a facial scheduled on a holiday so understandably they were running a little late for my appointment. Nothing crazy, but just about a 15 minute delay. Just the fact that they acknowledged this and apologized profusely was enough for me since I'm very understanding that things happen. To top it off, they gave me a $10 certificate at the end of my facial, completely unexpected, to make up for this minor inconvenience. The facial itself was very relaxing and the technician also checked in with me on how her pressure was. My face was definitely clearer the following day and the acne had diminished. I stated that I was concerned about my large pores and they were noticeably minimized afterwards. They didn't try to upsell me or cross sell me on anything either which is something I disliked from other spas that I've been to. Was looking through yelp and stumbled onto this little gem. My husband and I came in for the 2 hr first time special of massage and facial. I had cici and my husband had Jessica. My husband could not stop talking about the massage all the way home. He enjoyed it that much. I as well enjoyed it. Cici knew what areas to focus on and my pain went away. She also performed my facial. What an amazing mask peek. It revealed new skin, so soft. All in all I highly recommend you stopping in. Also forgot to mention, the young lady at the desk answered my email on a Saturday night at 10:45pm, now that is dedication. She was super nice. read more

The first time I went, I a cupping procedure that was very good. So I decided to go back unfortunately this experience will not have me coming back. I had a facial\massage/ and cupping session done. The facial was ok then the lady went into the massage portion on it. This is where is turns south. After about 20 minutes the door opens, and the sheet is not covering my body with my butt exposed. So after an excahnge between the two people i notice a different pair of shoe. Again after about 5 minutes, door wide open again, another person comes in, with a different pair of shoes and starts the massage again. Not at all relaxing. At the end of the massage, I find out the final massage therapist is a guy. Not cool I should have been told. Then the cupping, oh boy. The first time great experience. This time was a nightmare. He put the cups in random place and adjusted the suction so tight I got blisters. He left me there and about after 20 minutes I start calling out because of the pain. By the look on the lady's face I could tell it was as bad as I felt. She did call me the next day if I was ok. So in summary nice prices, decent price, but this experience made me so uncomfortable and taken advantage of I wont be coming back. read more

My first reaction of this spa was very good, the atmosphere was very nice and the services went very well for the most part but I will have to say that overall it was not as relaxing as I would have wished. I have had many massages before but the face port on this massage table made it very difficult to enjoy my massage and hurt my neck. I am just now getting over this stiff neck over a week later. I really don't know how this place has gotten anything above 1 star. It was the worst spa experience we've ever had. We had booked a couple's massage for 1pm on a saturday and was told to arrive 10-15 mins early. We arrived at 12:40pm and were told that the only couple's massage room was currently being used by ONE guest (not even a couple) and we wouldn't get started until about 1:05-1:10. They offered us to go into individual spa rooms for our treatments, but as we booked a couple's massage we wanted to be together. We thought waiting 5-10 mins extra would be ok. They didn't take us into the back until closer to 1:30 so already I was stressed. Then the torture started. On the paperwork, they ask you which areas on the body to avoid and as I have shoulder problems, I noted to avoid my left shoulder and neck, but if they do touch it, please be soft. The woman started the massage off directly on my left shoulder and neck. I couldn't believe it. Then she continually focused her attention on my both my shoulders and neck for about 30 mins of the 60 mins massage. She couldn't understand the difference between a knot in the muscle and a tendon. I don't know how many times she kept thinking she was working out a knot but really just rolling off the tendon in my upper back/shoulder. At one point, she tried putting both my arms behind me back (I was lying on my stomach) and then stretch them up towards my head. I quickly told her to stop as I couldn't make that movement with my shoulder. I couldn't believe what she was doing. She's not a physical therapist. My boyfriend's massage was mostly all elbows and she actually hurt him to the point his body jolted and she apologized to him. She continually had to keep telling him to relax because he was so tense from what she was doing to him. We are both very active people and workout 6 days a week. We have never been hurt during a massage before. But I immediately had to start icing both my shoulders, back and neck for the last 2 days after the massage. I would never recommend this place to anyone. We both told each other that there were so many moments during the massage we were going to ask them to just stop touching us, but we thought the other person was enjoying their massage so we just kept quiet. That's how bad it was. read more

We went for the couples massage, and had to go in two separate rooms because the appointment in front of us went late. It was no problem to be separated and the front desk woman was so nice and more than apologetic. Since they were behind they gave me a complementary facial mask. Stopped in to this spa on the recommendation of a good friend who frequents this establishment and raves about the service. I must say I totally agree with his assessment of the spa and its staff. Upon entering, I can see that a great deal of effort was put in to the design and details of the spa by the owners. The store is immaculate which above all else is very important to me! I am greeted by management and asked to fill out a short questionnaire to help the staff in identifying how to best serve me. I felt this was a great touch and began looking forward to my massage. But the best was yet to come!!.. I was introduced to Monica, who would be doing my massage. We spoke for a few minutes before she led me to my massage room. Along the way she showed me the various speciality rooms where facials and body treatments are preformed. The massage I received from Monica was worthy of the five stars I have given this spa. She was professional, knowledgeable and an absolute wiz at her craft. Her massage was both therapeutic and relaxing. I not only recommend Monica for a massage, but next time here I will ask her to add a facial to my visit. In my opinion a massage by Monica is a gift you must give yourself and a friend.
