The dental cleaning I received was very good. The staff are helpful. The clinic is very clean and people are friendly.

I had a root canal done and about a month later I started feeling ng pain in my tooth when I tried to eat. I went back to have them look at it, Ms. Ho I believe his name is (short Asian gentleman with glasses) he said there was nothing he could do and recommended pulling the tooth. I went to a specialist and they told me he did not fully clean the infection and I would need the procedure done again but I would have to pay out of pocket. He's rude and does crappy work, even when I go for a cleaning he doesn't numb to numb. He's rude just pokes you a thousand times read more

They cancelled my appointment as soon as I walked through the door. I really wish I made that up. They want you to pay them $50 and waste gas money if you decide to cancel. They take over 30 minutes to an hour or longer to even get you seated. I tried to give them a chance but I'll be seeking other dentist in the area. Unprofessional. Unreliable. The cleanings weren't the best but if I communicated any issues they always had an excuse never a real solution. I could go on and on but I'm done wasting more time on this "business." read more

As someone with severe dental anxiety & a gag relfex, it's extremely difficult to find a dentist that can cater to your needs. Dr. Lee and his staff were extremely attentive & sensitive to my needs and made me feel so comfortable and not like I was a burden. During my initial cleaning, Lerma was so sweet and nice and made me completely relaxed during my cleaning which is an arduous task. I'll be recommending this place to so many people. Reading these reviews on here really made me skeptical at first. But coming as a healthcare provider myself, I care more about the quality of care v. potentially how someone at the front desk treats me. If you didn't know, the job of a front desk is all-encompassing and difficult trying to juggle the front, the phones, the insurances, the complaints, and the exit/follow up appts. So be gentle. I agree, some could be nicer, could also be a bit more attentive, but give them a break. With that said, hands down, will only go to Dr. Flake for any and all of my concerns. She's not only gentle with her work, she makes sure you're overall comfortable and understanding of all issues involving your dental care. Her bedside manner makes you completely comfortable and I literally have almost fallen asleep a few times. All the dental hygienists I've had also had very gentle touches. I personally hate going to the dentist lol and I genuinely enjoy coming to this location. Highly suggest Dr. Flake and the hygienists here! read more

I just moved to the area and the location of this office was convenient. I tried to look them up to read reviews but I couldn't find much since they just opened in March. I walked in to set up my appointment as well as my husband's. I went in the very next day to get a regular cleaning and check up. Since I was a new patient, I had to fill out a questionnaire on an iPad before I was seen. This was super quick. Once I was called, Dr. C brought me into a small office area to go over my answers on that questionnaire and to discuss any prior dental work I've had. Immediately after I was seen by the X-ray tech. This was very normal. Once X-rays we're done, she walked my to a separate cleaning room. Dr. C saw me right away to check on my gums. The X-ray tech stayed in the room with me. Once Dr. C was done on his first check, he left and the hygienist saw me (3rd person looking in my mouth). She seemed nice and tried to make small talk but she was very heavy handed. Very heavy handed. I think she could tell from my facial expressions that it was a lot of weight/pressure. Once I got my teeth cleaned, Dr. C came back in. He showed me X-rays and the front desk assistant also came in to discuss pricing. Once they were done he took a last look in my mouth and said I was all finished. I was confused because typically at my cleanings I will have my gums measured. I know the feeling of the measuring because the dentist gives me anxiety so I hate that part. I sat up on the chair and asked if he measured my gums. HE SAID YES AND THAT I HAVE SOME 4's. Enter the 4th person to check my mouth. He did a fluoride treatment. I have no idea what his role was - just an assistant? But he didn't seem too friendly. I just said okay and paid at the front still really confused. Fast forward one week later. I called to get my x-rays and perio chart (a chart that measures your gums i.e. 1,2,3,4,5). Well turns out I didn't get my gums measured. I clearly asked if they were and Dr. C said YES and even told me what number I measured at! Like what??? How does he know how deep my pockets are without even using anything. Overall I would never come back. I sent an email back asking why there was that miscommunication about my gums being measured and never got a response back. They knew they were in the wrong. read more

Update: Rachel in the front was sooo much more helpful than the person who answered the phone the first time I asked why I had an outstanding balance. She was able to confirm that my 2nd insurance was not charged. Rachel deserves a good raise and vacation for how well she handles disgruntled patients. read more

I'm new to the area, and I'm looking for a dentist in the area. I was interested and excited that I found a new Dentist right up the street from my house. Unfortunately, I never got acknowledgment while standing at the front desk for 2 or 3 minutes. I completely understand if no one knew I was at the front desk; however, one staff member, a lady who came out to the lobby, walked right past me standing at the front desk and addressed another patient sitting down, and told them to come to the back. Then this same lady, about 1 minute later, reappears from back. I can see her from the window. Once again, nobody said anything to me, and I had given up on this dentist's office. I like my experience with the staff and service at Millenia Dental. They are very accomodating and explains every procedure they will do to you. And make sure you are well informed. I am thankful for "Jose" the one in the reception area because he was able to help me settle my account with them. I never knew I had to pay something (which was a procedure made a year ago?!) until he approached me in a calm manner and explained to me what happened. Whoever the first receptionist was last year, she was not doing her job properly. Fortunately, she is not with Millenia Dental anymore. Furthermore, Dr. Flake is very informative and she explained and answered my questions and the way she performs her procedures are very hygeinic and careful. And Alejandra who assisted her during my visit, she is the best one that I can say so far because she knows what she's doing. At the dentist my mouth is open and you know how hard that can be but she made sure that my saliva is suctioned properly, so there is no mess and they gave me a break from my mouth being opened for a while and my hair was not pulled. Because I had an experience with one of the Dental assistants my saliva dripped on my hair and my hair being pulled. Thus, I am really glad I experienced this amazing team at Millenia Dental, Dr.Flake, Alejandra and Jose.Keep up the good work because that's what patients look for during their Dental visits and they will surely come back just like me. read more

I haven't been to the dentist in over 3 years so you can imagine how nervous I was coming into the office... As soon as I walked into the office I was greeted by Jose and he quickly checked me in. I waited about 5 minutes and Rebecca (hygienist) introduced herself and came out to get me. Once I sat in the chair she explained the cleaning process to me, and answered all my questions (no matter how silly). She went over my x-rays (that were taken from Western Dental the previous month, where zero work was done) and started the probing process. Following the probing she began the cleaning! I really appreciated how she would explain what she was doing before and during the process. I was so extremely comfortable during my entire cleaning and my nerves were gone. Rebecca was extremely personable and I've never had such a wonderful experience during any of my previous visits from other offices. She showed me before she after pictures of my teeth and wow, I was blown away! She also explained some areas that may be of concern and didn't make me feel bad at all! I am definitely looking forward to my next cleaning in 6 months because of her. I hope I don't make any of you jealous but she said I am her new favorite patient, haha. Shortly after Dr. Zaku introduced herself, and welcomed me to the family. She did an examination, and explained the treatment recommendations moving forward. She explained everything in an easy to understand way so I wasn't confused at any point. I mentioned I wanted to get a few crowns replaced on my front teeth so I can whiten them. Without hesitation she said we can make it happen. Dr. Zaku was so sweet and I am looking forward to getting my dental work done by her. I definitely recommend her if you're looking for a dentist. After the examination I met with Jose to go over the treatment plan. He was so friendly and broke down the options for payment. I never felt any pressure for any upgrades and he did a fantastic job addressing any questions I had in regards to insurance and payments. He even scheduled my appointment for the following week so I could use my insurance allowance before the year is over. Overall my experience was extremely positive and I am so glad I reached out to this office when searching for a new dentist. I felt so welcome by Rebecca, Dr. Zaku, and Jose. The entire process was seamless. I left today feeling elated and instantly recommend them to my brother and sister. My sister made an appointment for a cleaning as soon as I shared my experience. I called Millenia Dental during my break and requested a new patient appointment and was delighted to be told they could book me next day. I agreed and explained the reason for my visit and was actually offered a same day emergency appointment. I was amazed by the customer service. During my appointment I was seen by Dr. Kim and Assistant Erica, they were both amazing. Erica welcomed me and began my treatment by taking x-rays, she made me feel very comfortable and she eased my worries. The doctor explained that I needed a root canal, he answered all my questions and again made me feel very comfortable and eased my anxiety. I was given a quote, which was very very reasonable and was given a next day appointment for the root canal, Erica came out front and let me know there was a cancelation and they could do my root canal immediately. I was a bit scared for the procedure but Erica and Dr. Kim made me feel at ease so I decided to move forward then and there. My original appointment started at 2pm and I was out with the root canal and another cavity filling done by 3:45. I couldn't belive how quick, easy, and pain-free everything was. Terrible experience/incomplete communication. This dentist, Dr Roy was isupposed to call me back concerning some questions that I had about a partial dental appliance. He never called me back! I didn't need x-rays and he charged me $97 for nothing. Then he wanted to take impressions without even telling me the price of the dental appliance! Rebecca was very cool and explained stuff about teeth clearly to someone like me that knows nothing about teeth. The atmosphere was pretty clean and my appointments were pretty prompt. Didn't have to wait around or anything. They did my deep cleaning for the right side first session and left session the week after. Overall pretty good experience! read more

I tried this clinic for teeth cleaning since driving to my former dentist is longer now. First of all i made my appointment in advance, then the day of my appointment, the front desk told me i have no appointments and even accused me of maybe making an appointment with a different dental clinic by mistake, now who does that? Secondly, the dentist (male) although talks calmly to me during the cleaning, but oh my goodness it felt like he's scraping off my whole enamel. It was not a pleasant feeling at all, his hands felt heavy and i was just not satisfied. Third, despite of telling them that i decided to go back to my former dentist they still keep calling me for an appointment and even calls my husband for the same thing. Now that's very annoying. I hope they see this review and look up my file with them, they can't deny i'm not one of their former patients. read more

Lmao. This dentist is a complete jackass!!!! I called two days ago because my crown fell off. I let the staff know I'd be coming in to re-cement the crown. He unfortunately refused to fix the crown as I wanted it. He wanted to put in a new crown even though I blatantly said I did not want a new crown done by him because I would see my personal dentist when he was back in town. I wanted my old one still. I don't usually like going to the dentist but my visit the other day was so enjoyable. I'd like to start by saying I didn't sit in the waiting room for more than 5 minutes before being seen and the office was clean and tidy. I went for a routine dental exam and my hygienist Rebecca was amazing! I really give all the credit to her for my experience there because she had such great energy! Millenia Dental 9-7-2021 I was referred for a root canal by Dr. Noor Sharrak to another dentist practicing in this office. His name is Dr. John Kim. He is the go to guy when it comes to root canals for Millenia Dental. My appointment was scheduled on September 7, 2021 at 3:30pm. I received a text message at 2:46pm the day of my appointment from the office manager named Rachel. The message stated,"Hi Christopher we are ready for you if you want to come in earlier." I was able to arrive about 10 minutes before my 3:30pm appointment. Things go wrong quickly after my arrival. I look down at my watch and fifteen minutes have gone by. So I ask Yovanna, who is part of the front desk staff about how much longer my wait would be? Her reply was confusing to me because she said that they were very busy and running behind. How could this be? The office manager Rachel had texted me at 2:46pm asking me to come in early for my appointment. So I continue to wait, tick tock, tick tock....the clock slowly drags. Around 3:55pm I get up and ask the office manager about a referral to a specialist and about how much longer I'd be waiting. We go round and round as she checks with Dr. Kim, she is looking for the referral paperwork and I explain to her that I have dental phobia. She kindly gets up and checks with Dr. Kim and lets me know that its gonna be just five more minutes. Unfortunately for me Dr. Kim has told a lie. Its 4:30pm before I'm called back for my visit. I get to the back and wait another 10 minutes before I am greeted by Dr. John Kim. Who is cold as ice! He is the least professional dentist that I have ever encountered. Think of a robot human... At this point I had been waiting over an hour and he didn't even acknowledge my inconvenience. He begins talking to me about the level of my pain, asking me how long my tooth has been hurting, then informing me that he doesn't want to do a root canal because its too late in the afternoon to start the procedure. How could this be? I was not only on time but I was early. His colleague Dr. Sharrak had referred me to him after my last visit on 9-3-2021. I think being referred by a dentist that works in the same office means there should be continuity of care. Not at Millenia Dental, this is the amateur hour. Dr. Kim does a short examination of less that one minute and communicates nothing else with me. Dr. Kim just walks out of my treatment area never to be seen again. He did not care at all about how I was feeling, how much pain I was in or anything else about how to get me better. So I'm back to the waiting game. Ten minutes or so pass by and Yovanna, greats me in my treatment area. She is holding a prescription for Norco, a gift card from starbucks and a referral to an endodontist. She has the audacity to tell me how fortunate I was to be getting the starbucks gift card. I could care less about starbuck, I was in the office for a root canal on a tooth that has been bothering me for weeks. She is also now trying to explain to me that I was only there for a consultation. Even though it was communicated clearly to me by Dr. Sharaak that I had been scheduled for a root canal. Yovanna insists that I was never scheduled for a root canal. This is in direct contradiction with Dr. Sharaak. She states that this should have been explained to me at the time that I scheduled the appointment. She basically threw Dr. Sharrak, Rachel the office manager and another gentleman that handles benefits under the bus. No one in this office took any level of accountability. A ten dollar starbucks card, some drugs(opioids at that) and a referral slip to another doctor is their solution for this extreme level of incompetence. I have know idea what type of dental pedigree Dr. Kim has but as far as his manner, it is the worst I have ever experienced. This is the most poorly handled medical appointment that I have ever had. I highly recommend you stay away from this expression less, insensitive, dismissive person. Dr. Sharaak is great! I would not hesitate to visit this dental office for her services. The dental hygienist is great but that is where the competence ends. Amateur hour at its finest! read more

My daughter and I have been going to this dental clinic for more than 5 years now and we always loved the staff who works here. They are very friendly and accommodating. They are always prompt in time and so good in following up their patients/clients. The place is clean and the staff uses proper PPPE and cleans the area every after patient use. The dentist are very professional and explains everything clearly. The hygienist Rebecca is very warm and professional, explains the procedure before doing it. I was greeted warmly, I had no wait time, and was met by my dental hygienist Rebecca who made my entire experience memorable. She explained everything so well, even things I have never been told before about my teeth. Very unprofessional front desk clerk (Jose)! My family has been with the clinic since 2017 but with recent changes in staff and providers, they have been on a downward slope. If you ever got billed for some reason because insurance didn't pay them, Jose is quick on billing you without doing a causative research. His reason is that the corporate office tasked him to collect unpaid bills when they never submitted proper documentations in the first place. He claims that he's been doing his job for over 20 years and he was just humbled when my wife, a certified biller, gave him billing 101 lesson! OBTW, he also violated HIPPA policy by sending other patients' information to my wife when she requested for an EOB. Surprisingly, he didn't even realize that until we spoke to his supervisor. read more

Used a groupon to get my teeth cleaned. They got me in and out in 40 minutes and boy do my teeth feel CLEAN. Dentist did a great job, was straight forward and a friendly guy. The dental hygienist, Erica, was also very helpful and I liked her playful/sassy nature. Easy to find, easy parking, and they took covid precautions seriously. One of the best dental offices I've ever been to. Here is why: 1) I got very clear explanation on the phone from Jose when I called them to set an appointment. 2) On the appointment day, I was be able to see the doctor on the set time without any delay. 3) The office was very neat and clean. 4) The staff and the doctor was very professional, helpful and kind. Jose did a clear presentation about the issue with my teeth and the possible treatment ways and pricing. And on my third visit to clean my teeth, Rebecca did an excellent work and literally cleaned my teeth with such a great care as if they were her own teeth. Also, we had very pleasant conversation with her and she gave me great comfort before she started to clean me teeth. 5) I had a successful crown operation and my overall experience was very pleasant.
