Horrible Dentist!! Carly Katz is a terrible dentist. Very unprofessional, sings in your ear, and says anything. All of the work I had done there will have to be redone. She did a root canal and crown. The crown fell out twice, and the second time the tooth broke off, she didn't want to deal with it and was supposed to to refer me to an Oral Surgeon, she never did so I loss the tooth. Go somewhere else if you like having your teeth. She plans for the future, by doing bad work so you can come back, and she can more money. read more

Worst customer service I've experienced. We called to schedule as a new patient and explained to the receptionist that we specifically needed a molding for a cap along with any initial X-rays they need me to do. Got to the office and she stated the doctor wouldn't have time for the mold. Took the day off for nothing, such a waste of time. This is strictly about the dental work. I've had fillings that have lasted 10+ years and are still going strong. Due to the sloppy work of this dentist, my fillings for both teeth came out 3 months after. Also, this dentist will have the dental assistants perform 80% of what she should be working on. I feel obligated to say that her bedside manner is also pretty low quality. Not sure if it's because she sees mostly Medicaid members but everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. read more

I have been in the office twice and each time that I have been there they always sell me unnecessary stuff. The first time I made an appointment because I needed a root canal. Their website says they do root canals but they don't. She sent me to a specialist who didn't even put a temporary tooth over my root canal. I went back to her office so she could put a temporary crown which fell off within 2 hours of me leaving the office. I ended up being without a crown for 2 weeks until they got my permanent one. When I went for my cleaning they sold me a cream for my gums that cost $22 dollars; the second time I got a cleaning from them they sold me a toothpaste for $25 dollars that I saw at Walmart for 4 dollar and 60 cents. I asked the front desk person if I can buy it myself somewhere else because it was to much money for me to spend on toothpaste and she told me that they dont sell it in stores they only sell it in the dentist's office. I asked if she can give me a prescription so I can go to the pharmacy and get it that way and she said no, that they were the only ones that sell that toothpaste. I do not recommend anyone go to this dentist; find someone else. read more

I've been going to this place for several years. I had noticed a decline in service. Over charging to fix a crown that was installed by them at an outrageous price. They charge me for missing an appointment when my work forces me to stay and the front office didn't care at all for my explanation. I hope the 65 bucks was worth losing a customer. I am very particular about my dentist, and I actually enjoy going to this one! I love that they take a holistic approach to dentistry, which, to me, is true health! From the girls in the front office that greet you and go over your dental plan with you, to the dentist herself, and her assistants , they all make you feel very welcome and comfortable. Dr. Carly explained everything very plainly, and she's conservative in her approach and mindful of the costs and provides options. Wow! One of the best healthcare experiences I've ever had as patient! I'm a nurse and busy mom, they made making an appt easy, I received multiple text reminders about my appt (which I absolutely need), and the actual dental experience is very professional and efficient. At my first visit for a cleaning and exam, the dental hygienist was very caring, knowledgeable, and thorough. Dr. Katz was kind and an overall great provider. I needed a follow-up appt for more dental care and during my check-out process, the front desk told me the cost of follow-up care (after insurance) so there would be no surprises at my next visit. They were able to fit me in an appt that fit my schedule. The second visit I needed to have fillings and I was a bit nervous, but they provide an excellent, calming environment and it was over so fast I couldn't believe it. Wow yesterday was my third again exceptional visit to 613 Dentistry. I had the pleasure, yes the pleasure, of having Victoria as my hygienist. She is absolutely exceptional and I must admit I am awed by this entire dental practice. She was warm, inviting and welcoming. She sat with me, asked about my concerns in an authentic way which is no small thing since I have some cavities and teeth that are requiring crowns in the near future. She actively listened and responded with intelligence, calming and reassurance. She was gentle yet thorough during the cleaning. After the cleaning we talked about home care and recommended products which felt congruent to my more holistic approach to dentistry and health. She is an absolute gem and I feel incredibly fortunate that she is now the one in care of my dental health and cleanings. I also want to give a glowing review of Dr. Katz, absolutely astounded me when I visited for a consult back in July 2022. I came to her with recommendations from another dentist that had me totally panicked. From the moment I met Dr. Katz I felt so safe and comfortable. I knew I was in the right place. She looked at my recent x-rays and then confidently explained in very clear language her treatment plan which was positive and possible developing a practical treatment plan we would implement in stages. In September she did a root canal with such care and detailing, saving my tooth. Her methodology was flawless and afterwards I felt minimal discomfort. Holistic dentistry is key for me and Dr. Katz takes this to a whole new level. Previously I reviewed Dr. Katz - this is more so the entire office as a whole. Simply put I know my dental problems can be a handful. Hell, if I had a nickel for every time I made a gag reflex joke - I'd have enough nickels to pay for my dentist work - which is a lot - because of my aforementioned gag reflex problems.
