The greatest compliment you can give a business is by answering one single question. Would you come back? The answer is yes! I have an extremely complicated prescription. Initially I went somewhere else for my eye exam but purchased my glasses at Millennium. It was challenging to troubleshoot. I could not see well and I was discouraged. I ended up needing Dr. Love at Millennium to redo my eye test. She is a true professional and knows her trade well. She spent a lot of time with me and got me a new prescription that worked. In addition optical manager Damaris is a standout in customer service. I received the kind of personalized service from a neighborhood, small practice that you may not necessarily get from the big chains. My first visit and I felt like I've been coming here for a while. The staff was very friendly and warm. Time was great, no long waiting period once I completed the paperwork. Dr. Lauretta came in with a great smile and introduced herself, making me feel very comfortable following up with a thorough exam. Went in to get my prescription updated along with buying a new pair of glasses and my first prescription sunglasses for when outside and driving. Exam was easy and quick enough and the Dr. gave the impression she actually cared about her patients. The problems when I came back after 2 1/2 weeks to pick up my prescription sunglasses and found they were perfectly clear normal lenses without any tinting or UV protection like I requested, turns out the tech never put those options in and the receptionist just kind of shrugged her shoulders like saying "that's not my problem" and offered no help in getting the situation corrected. I'm now having to ship those frames and lenses off to another company costing me twice what I already paid just so I have the actual lenses I wanted and paid for. Was told my main prescription glasses would be done in 2-3 weeks but after a month I call and keep getting sent to voicemail where I leave a message and nobody ever calls/emails back. I finally got an actual person on the phone the other day to find out if my glasses are in yet and they say I have to speak with the optometrist and that she's with a patient and will call me back in 1 hour. Of course they never called back. At this point I'm pretty sure they are trying to screw me out of $500 that I already paid for the glasses or they like to discriminate against disabled veterans like myself or both. They have 1 more chance to correct the situation (give me my glasses I paid for) before I return with a police report and the Better Business Bureau and local media to simply get the product I paid them for. I will NEVER return once I get my glasses and have already informed my friends and family of the discriminatory business practices on display from this eye clinic. Save your time and money and go ANYWHERE else for better experience and service. read more

On my first visit I was impressed with the upbeat attitude of the staff with whom I came in contact with. I was pleased that I did not have a long wait before I was seen.The office is equipped with top of the line equipment and the technician I saw knew his stuff. Slow service , limited frame selection the doctor was ok how ever she and her staff need to learn to be punctual and not make the patient waste their time waiting more than normal due to slow techs. Also frame prices are over priced even with insurance. read more

My daughter was overcharged for the office visit and informed that she needed glasses. The reason for the initial visit was because of eye swelling & rash around the eye. She was prescribed an ointment & advised that there was no infection-only rash on the eye lid. She was then asked for additional insurance for coverage of glasses and asked that she be given the prescription and she would get the glasses elsewhere. When she took the prescription for the eyeglasses to be filled, the doctor informed her that her eyesight was nearly perfect and she did not need glasses (per the prescription). Too, her eye continued to swell and hurt causing her to go the emergency room. She was diagnosed with a bacterial infection and given medication to take care of it. Sooo...misdiagnosed on the eye infection, filled unnecessary prescription for ointment and they attempted to sell her glasses that she didn't need! I will be contacting my insurance company so that they can verify the amount that should have been paid for the office visit and initiate a refund of the overpayment. I do not recommend this eye center to anyone. read more

I had a TERRIBLE experience with this place TWICE! Both times, before making the appointment I asked them to calculate how much exactly it'll cost me to get contacts + exam. Both times they charged me MORE than what they said! The second time they didn't even give me the contacts, saying they have to order them, but assuring me they'll receive it in 3-5 business days. I waited a MONTH! Now, let me ask you - who gives a damn if the doctor and staff is "incredibly nice" like someone wrote here?! Them being nice doesn't change the fact they promise you one thing and fail to provide it! They TRAP you telling you the price lower than what they'll charge you in reality and on top of that make you wait A MONTH! Don't take my word for it if you have to see it for yourself. I saw a customer over there who was actually complaining pretty loud and said he'll never come back to this place again and make sure to spread it to everyone he knows. I regret so much not just to come back there again after I had a bad experience once, but I also regret I didn't write the review the first time which I should have done. I'm asking everybody - SPEAK UP if you were treated unjustly ! It's your responsibility to let the other people know! Don't let the other people be fulled by the good reviews ! read more
