Ryan suggested a solution for a flatter section of our roof that no other contractor had. We were having problems with water in this area and Ryan's solution will surely solve our problems. Ryan worked with us on pricing. He had a superior warranty to the competitor, who says "I bet we did your neighbor's roof". Ryan made it impossible to hire anyone else. Matthew, the project manager, kept me informed of scheduling and what to expect at every step. Ryan and Matthew were on site for all of the job and Ryan was up on the roof a good portion of the day making sure the job was done right. Ryan, Matthew, and the crew went over and above. They solved several problems we had. They even saved us money on the day of installation by pointing out we had copper flashing around our chimneys, which is superior to aluminum. They notified me, reused and resealed the copper flashing, and credited me back $200. Ryan runs a super honest company. Elegant Exteriors is the company to hire for your job. We will without a doubt be calling them back for any of my siding, window, gutter, or shutter needs.

I called a very popular roofer in the area for an estimate and had the worst experience. He left his car running, looked at the roof from the ground, and said "you need a whole new roof", and left. My home inspector said absolutely not, call someone else. Another estimate came from a company that didn't even come to the house. I told them what my inspector thought was the issue and he quoted me a price solely based on that. Feeling super defeated, I ended up calling Ryan at Elegant Exteriors for a 3rd and final consult. I definitely saved the best for last because Ryan was phenomenal. He was up on the roof before I knew it taking pictures and surveying everything. He showed me what he felt was the issue and his prices were very reasonable. He was such a pleasure to work with too- just a genuinely nice, helpful, and honest guy. Buying a house is so stressful and when you run into issues like the roof, you want someone you can trust and who will reduce the stress. That person is definitely Ryan. Fast forward a few years and I'm ready to replace my roof. There's no where else I'm going but Elegant Exteriors. Ryan walked me through the entire process and made a daunting task so much easier to deal with. Ryan and his entire team, especially Brittany and Matthew, were incredible to work with. Months of excuses from them and nasty calls from me to finally get these people out to do the roof. They were supposed to finish in one day, which didn't happen. More excuses, more nasty phone calls. Finally they finished. The actual person who runs this company, John, who I spoke to many times, has a history of not doing or finishing jobs. If you do some research you will find he and his previous companies have been sued more than 70 times in 2007. The man who deals with the insurance companies is just as crooked as the people doing the work. I wouldn't hire this company to put a roof on a doghouse, much less your home or business unless you don't mind waiting at least half a year and are prepared to be on top of them all the time. Everything that comes out of their mouth's are lies. The only thing they were quick about was collecting the money! Who you make your checks out to is a company listed as permanently closed on Google. All business have the address of Fern St. Their proposals are shifty as are the people doing the actual work. They originally quoted them a certain price to install the windows that were purchased. Since it's now my house and no longer being worked on by the same contractor, they won't honor that price.
