***updated review*** I don't think I'm going back to Millennium nails sadly. I've come here on and off for the last 2 years for mani pedis and such. I went in yesterday for the routine pedicure. They cut open my cuticle area, I didn't feel it when I was there but now my toe is angry. And last time I took my mother for Mother's Day, the lady kept catching my skin with the drill and straight up cracked one of my toe nails and glued the piece back, didn't even say anything, I watched her do it. The time before that, a friend and I went for gel manicures and they peeled within the first couple days which was a bummer. I enjoyed the quality of work and the warm greetings every time I came in, but with this happening leaves me open for infection and that's just not cool. Sorry guys! read more

Sometimes you have to go through the gravel to find the gem! That's what I feel about finding Tiffany at this nail salon! She was meticulous, attentive, and beautifully crafted the hard gel fill that I love!!!! The French tip was hand drawn carefully (I like the white tips thin, not thick) and my nails were smoothed done so they didn't look thick either! They looked natural. They grew out beautifully and I'm ready for my next fill tomorrow! What I love is that despite having to manage running the front desk simultaneously, she can still do my nails precisely, not distracted nor with an ear to her phone while working on me. It was a packed salon the morning I arrived and saw her for the first time, but she was able to navigate walk-ins, scheduled clients and myself in a manner that was still quite professional! I give grace knowing a busy salon means repeat clients. I'm happy to find a home here. I've been going to Millennium Nails & Spa before the ownership change. The change happened without customers really being told and the original nail techs besides Jay are all gone now. The new nail techs are very friendly ; however , when it comes to the quality , it had significantly decreased. I had few cuts on nails and toes with new techs which highly concerned me during the service with hygiene issue knowing that I was being serviced with tools I am not sure whether they are clean or not and it was touching my cut areas. Before the change of ownership, I knew my nail tech would open the new sanitized tools because I would see her physically open a fresh pack that says "new". So that was bit of concern. Also, the nails are very warpy, uneven, too thick, and not cleaned up nicely. Cuticles really look undone although they have done it. I get my mani and pedi regularly and this is highly disappointing result. I also want to mention that the price has significantly increased. The price change was not discussed nor was opened to the public and was just charged significantly higher price than what I would normally pay. I wish the luck with new ownership and things can get better, but unfortunately I will have to move on to different nail place. read more

I'm super picky about my nails and have been looking for a go to salon in Riverside so I decided to check them out! I called for an appointment ahead of time after seeing some reviews and I'm so glad that I did. It was around 9am and they were already busy! I came in with a pretty ambitious design and they told me they were unable to do it because they didn't have the material for it. Completely understandable and I'm glad that they communicated that clearly with me so I wouldn't walk out disappointed. I opted for something more simple and got a gel manicure on my natural nails with marble and gold flakes on my ring fingers. I get kinda nervous when picking a lighter color for gel nails because I found that other places tend to layer it on too thick but this nail tech did a fabulous job. Lynn did an excellent job again on my dip powder nails and my pedicure. She always informs me of any additional costs in advance of completion of a service, which I appreciate and her rating remains 5 stars. At the close of today's appointment, Tiffany added $5 to my service charge. When I asked Tiffany what the charge was for, she said, there is an additional $5 charge for dip powder on medium length nails. I have only gotten dip powder service on my nails and this is the first time that I heard of this additional cost after I had already gotten my nails done. Because I was not informed in advance, I should not have incurred this additional cost and I should be refunded $5. In addition, I feel that this charge was arbitrary and capricious. As a result of being charged an additional cost without advance notice, I reduced my five star rating to four stars. Hopefully, no other customer will experience this. read more

I haven't been to a salon for years, since before the pandemic actually! I'm very impressed and very happy with the service I received! I came in as a walk in on 12/20 so I was prepared for a wait, but I was very surprised that I was helped in under 10 minutes! The young man at the front desk was very nice and the other gentleman doing nails at the front table was also very polite. He made sure to tell me I was going to be helped right away and he also said thank you for waiting. I believe my nail tech was named Vena I hope that's right. She was very attentive and she made an effort to ask me if everything was okay after she filed or shaped. She was also nice enough to give me color options for the nude french tip base color! I went here for the first time yesterday, and they were kind enough to see me and 3 family members for mani pedi's at 5:30 when they closed at 6. We were insured over the phone before we arrived that they would be able to accommodate us and we "would be the last group of the night" so it was no issue. However, my services felt extremely rushed. My nail technician started with my left hand and it looked great but when she moved on to the second hand she shaped my nails much rounder and they are visibly different shapes (my thumbs are SO different!). Also I had this done less than 24 hours ago and already lost a rhinestone... considering the event we got this done for is this Friday I'm pretty bummed! The owner is very unprofessional! I will never go to this shop ever again! He ruined my nails yesterday so I called him asking him to take them off and refund me. He said he will cut them off and refund me. He cut my nails and did not remove them, was rude about it, and tried to short change me 2.00 when I paid 67 he was going to give me 65. It's bad business. I paid $103 for a full set and a pedi. About $20 more expensive than my other two nail salons. 4. The girl kept asking me throughout the process if my nails were ok...shape, length, etc., which was nice. 5. I asked her for super thin nails and got very thick nails instead. Overall, extremely expensive and my nails started to lift on two nails literally the day after I got them done. By exactly a week later, some nails started to pop off. I would've given 5 stars if it were solely based on my nail tech and her work, because her work is impeccable. I asked for a removal of an gel x set and it to be replaced with a new one. I spoke to the gentleman on the phone and we discussed specifically who I should have, but when I got there I was given a different nail tech but really I think that was a miscommunication and I'm Not sure if that was my fault but I felt bad saying something. I also requested a pedicure, umm and that's not anything worth mentioning. She was nice. But I could say I've had better. But if you need like a basic pedicure then I'm sure you'll be happy. I went on Friday and it's Sunday and the gel is already peeling. I asked for chrome and he didn't seem to know how to do it correctly. The gel nail polish under the chrome is literally still wet and just smeared on my finger. He tried to fix one nail the rest were left messed up. He also took way longer than normal. The lady at the end said if it peels come back and we'll fix it for you, almost as she knew that the way he did it was going to cause it to peel. Too bad I'm so far away Also, they should inform the client the price on additional service. He told me chrome was a nail polish, it ended up being an additional process and $10. Started going here in October 19, 2023 and got paired with Lisa for the first time. Usually have trust issues with nail techs and it scared me from going anywhere new. But I was on a time crunch, and my god, this woman is a god send. She focused on me and my services the entire time, and got the exact shape and length I wanted without arguing with me! I know the bar is low, but still, that meant a lot to me especially when nail techs have told me it's not possible with the length and shape I want. She's been doing my fills since then Today, I went in for a nail repair and fill, and got paired with Tracey. She was also a gem! I came and took a risk by asking for a design. Usually nail techs will say "no, too difficult it'll be $30," or some outrageous price and still mess it up. But Tracey slayed it!! Okay I've been coming here for a while now and at first it was great I was super relieved that I finally found a place. BUT I feel like the results are never consistent. Today was probably the worst full set I got and this was the second try since she couldn't do the star design I initially wanted. The pictures are the nails I walked out with. the pricing is ridiculous!! They charge an extra $2 for "COVID sanitation precautions" which should already be included. Why should I be paying for that when it's the business's responsibility to provide that for their customers?? And then another $1 for merchant fee?? C'mon now. They also charged me an extra $5 for "French design" when I was already paying for nail art design. I do not understand why french tip on four nails is an extra $5 when i'm paying $10 for all the nail art on my hands!! They didn't even use anything special for the french tip. It's all the same. And lastly they still expect you to give a tip?? I regret giving my tip because they already charged me for so many miscellaneous things. & the design that i asked for didnt come out how I wanted! Take your money somewhere else. I stopped by to get a pedicure. The lady at the front station told me immediately they were "all busy". I left. I then realized she didn't say how long the wait was. Didn't even ask me if I wanted to wait. So I went back inside to ask how long the wait was. She said "ummmm, about an hour ... and a half". Clearly was thinking it up as she went along. And wouldn't even look up at me. Again, not offering me the opportunity to wait or come back. Considering a year ago they were struggling to stay open I wouldn't be so quick to turn away business. Update: Businesses response is not accurate and contradictory. If she had told me they were booked the day, which she did not, why when I returned would she have told me the wait was 1.5 hours, which you acknowledge she did tell me? If you were booked all day, there wouldn't be an option of waiting. And if you we're that booked, why would you not offer to make me an appointment to come back? You do have to make an appt because they are always busy and can't always take walk-ins. 2. The nail technicians take there time on your nails. The filing, trimming, etc. It's the details for me. 3. Great customer service. I was feeling parched on a hot day and asked if I can get a water from there mini fridge and the receptionist quickly got one for me. He was so nice.
