I've been coming to PolishUp for a few months now and that alone would tell anyone that knows me, this place is THAT GOOD. I'm a loyal a** b**** and Gaby has me for LIIIIFE. She takes her time, listens to exactly what you want and delivers every-single-time. She's sweet as can be, too (which is a plus for socially awkward people like me) My toes are always sandal and flip flop ready and I always leave feeling refreshed, relaxed and immediately booking my ext appointment. Jackie, the owner, should be extremely proud of the establishment she's created. It's a modern nail salon with nail techs who do cute and top tier nail designs (if that's what you're into) or hit the mark with a good old fashioned mani/pedi. She's personable, warm, funny, relatable and cool as hell. If you're looking for a great way to pamper yourself a couple times a month, this is where you need to go. Almost every month I come in with Keeley and MY GOODNESS! She slays every time and she's a vibe! I show her inspo and art, and she is able to get it down. I've noticed my nails last 4 weeks with her with no lifting or breaking. Usually when I break them, it is my own fault. I have cheated on her once and I came right back to her lol. My wife and occasionally myself have been coming here for years for nail care. Jackie and the crew are phenomenal at what they do and extremely knowledgeable. Once upon a time it was just Jackie and Alex but now there's a whole crew! The inside is clean, professional, and straight chill. They're more than capable of handling the crowds and are the only place in the Inland Empire you should be getting your nails done. I booked my appointment through Yelp and Alex responded within 10 minutes--super friendly and incredibly accommodating! The moment I walked in, I noticed how bright and clean the space felt. Unlike other salons, there's no overwhelming chemical smell. Instead, you're welcomed with good vibes, current music playing, and not one, not two, but three TVs--two with shows and one with live footage of bald eagles (which I absolutely LOVE!). Now for the amazing staff: Sandy started my nails and we instantly clicked! She's so friendly, funny, and detail-oriented--I felt comfortable and well cared for from the very beginning. After Sandy's prep, Bianca stepped in for the application and design. I messaged them and the salon consistently messaged me back to get details on the nail design my daughter wanted and answered all the questions I had. I was able to book her that week with Dafne and my oldest daughter took her. My daughter said everyone there was friendly and was offered water & soda. She said they also had a coffee machine which is nice. Dafne, the nail technician, took around 2 hours and my daughter was super happy with her nails. Came here after seeing it go viral on TikTok and I must say the salon did not disappoint! My husband and I always get pedicures and he always runs into people giving him a lazy pedicure (rushed, rough, barely any cuticle work) because I assume they think men don't notice or care. Not here, the nail tech made sure to ask what type of nail care he preferred, and had extreme attention to detail. He said it was the best most attentive pedicure he's had. Now for my experience I had Jackie. She was wonderful, her attention to detail was great. She made sure to give me tips on future care. I wear a lot of heels and she gave me a few items to help upkeep care at home. My nails came out amazing. I've been looking for a salon to call my go to since I've moved to Riverside and after a lot of lousy pedicures I'm so glad I found this salon. The salon is clean, relaxing and cozy. Some staff lack communication skills along with customer service and knowledge of salon policy. Management did try to resolve issues however how can you go back to a place the makes you feel uncomfortable. Response With all due respect first I didn't book online I called...and never was I asked if there was any conditions to disclose, that along could have same me the shame your staff made me feel.I don't have a problem letting people know what happened. I did mention "I might had been over reacting" however after thinking and going over it all, No I don't believe I did. When your staff notice my pinky I fully let her know I've had an issue from previous yrs and I had been on medication, at the point she should have said I'm sorry salon policy is we might refuse service let me talk to my manager he has the last call. Instead what happens was she asked her coworker not once but twice and then with out even as an excuse me I'll be back she got up to talk to you. Alex and Jackie, the owners and operators are both veterans. Both are very well rounded, involved, and supportive of all the clients as well as the technicians. Everyone there is very personable and the quality of work that the technicians do are top-notch. When you're there your family.
