I have taken my cars to Fred for over 20 years. I drove my 2006 Elantra to 304,000 miles, mainly because Fred maintained it for most of its life. My 2023 Elantra has 50k on it and was recently serviced by Fred. He calls and says there's going to be an extra hundred in it because of blah blah blah. I say fine no more than that. I get texts throughout week saying they have to do this and that just letting me know of progress on car. Fri. I get text saying its ready. I go and get car and he hits me with bill for just under $1000.00.They did not o.k. any of this and they did not say price was going up. Job was not done very well either. Rust was still visible and there was black overspray on a white car!

We had asked them to do a lot of little things and they did none of them. They had our car for two weeks and did basically nothing. But you get charged for hours and somehow they claim to have spent a lot of time on it, I really don't know how.
