I rarely do reviews for companies, but our experience with Chris and Carter with Miller Climate Control warrants us to take the time to provide a positive review for them. We have a 5 year old Lennox HVAC system that has been nothing but problematic for us. We'd faithfully used the installing company for years, but their service drastically declined after being bought out by another company. I finally had enough of the other company overcharging us for jobs to replace failed warrantied parts and wanted to find a company that I could rely on to simply do the needed repairs at a fair price. Chris and Carter came out and successfully diagnosed the issue for our system that another company failed to diagnose. They were able to clearly explain the source of the issues with confidence and returned with the needed replacement parts after a couple of hours. They handled the warranty for the parts, replaced the parts and had the system back up and running after a few hours. The charge for their work was incredibly fair and was likely 4 to 5 times less than what our previous company would have charged. Very professional and friendly. Reasonably priced and prompt service. Called them in the afternoon and they were there by 8 PM that same day. Repaired one AC and ordered a coil for the other which was in and installed two days later .. I know my AC system quite well and explained to the Miller Climate Control technician that the AC pan in the attic had filled with water and that the moisture sensor had turned system off. He listened and reacted accordingly, and within minutes confirmed. Then without trying to find another more expensive "problem", he blew out the line, drained the pan and had the system cooling once again. There are 3 P's I use to categorize a new vendor. In order of importance for me they are - Prompt, Professional and Personable! And you guys were all of those things in spades. In the middle of a record-setting heat streak, our A/C decided that it was too hot and went on vacation. The indoor temp. hit 85 degrees and was still climbing, and being one of many Central Texans getting a taste of Hades, it was proving difficult to find someone available to come out on a Sunday evening to rescue us. We got a hold of Chris at Miller Climate Control, and he said he would be able to come out and help us in two hours after finishing his other calls. Not only did he arrive in half the time, he identified the problem immediately (bad capacitor), replaced it on the spot, and saved two weary parents from an inevitable night of complaining by the kids (they only complained it was too cold when they woke up in the morning). As with the other reviews (which I appreciate in helping me find Miller), I can't say enough about Chris and his team - all of the positive reviews highlighting their professionalism, responsiveness, experience, and genuine eagerness to help people with their desperate A/C problems are very well-deserved. My AC stopped blowing cold air on a Sunday evening. After calling several "24-Hour" shops, nobody answered the phone on a Sunday evening. Finally called Miller Climate Control, and Chris Miller picked up the phone and I explained the symptom to him. He said he would be right over in 30min. He came as promised at 10:15pm and went straight to the outdoor unit. He pulled the cover off and he immediately knew that the capacitor was the culprit.
