I have been here twice as of this moment and I like going here. Never before did I think going to a place that has more of a bar atmosphere (a kind of thing I'm not a fan of) would seem so inviting. I came here with some friends that night as we wanted something to do. We waited for our turn as there were about two groups ahead of us. After not too long we were seated. This huge place has multiple seating spots and multiple tv's scattered around as well. The ambience was fairly loud but not overpowering as there was a game playing on the television(s) and also music in the background. I think if you enter a place like this one should expect this kind of noise level. Anyway the three of us ordered cheeseburgers (and mozzarella sticks for the appetizer). It was such a tasty and affordable choice! The burger seemed like it was cooked just right (medium well) and came with fries. I had asked for a special sauce on the side that was offered to one of my friends but didn't want it because it sounded too spicy (Cajun ranch). The sticks were good too and we ate them all pretty fast. And the service was great as we had a friendly waitress. If you're looking for a place to get the party vibe or just hang out with friends, come to Miller's and you'll have a good time! read more

The last time we were here I was over a year ago. I ordered a chicken cheesesteak I was given brown meat they told me it was chicken it just had mushroom residue on it it made me sick. I contacted them when I got home no one acknowledged me no one tried to make it right no apology nothing. The drinks are crap the food is crap it's completely too salty. I recently visited Miller's Ale House in Springfield, PA, and it was very disappointing. The floors were so sticky walking up to the hostess stand that I felt like I was stuck to a trap. Outside, the dumpster area was dirty, and I even saw mice running from the parking lot. I ordered a Cobb salad and my friend had a burger. Halfway through eating, with my fork still in hand, the server asked if I wanted a box--which felt rushed and unwelcoming. We sat by the fireplace to watch the game, but a crowd pulled up chairs and blocked the area, making it uncomfortable and not enjoyable at all. This place has really gone downhill. Between the cleanliness issues, rushed service, and chaotic and uncomfortable atmosphere, I would not recommend it and will not be returning. read more

When first arriving was told will be a 50 to 60 minute wait. Only 2 other couples waiting. Then told to add your own name and phone number to a tablet. 10 minutes later was seated. They did not have anymore of the appetizer we wanted. All around the bar were papers and trash. Had to ask for napkins and silverware. There were 4 bartenders and only 2 of them were doing anything. I had one of the most unprofessional and dishonest experiences I've ever had at a restaurant while visiting Miller's Ale House. My server and bartender, Melissa, gave me a receipt showing one total, but when it came time to pay, I noticed additional charges had been slipped onto my bill. It was clear she was hoping I wouldn't catch it. When I confronted the manager about the issue, instead of taking responsibility and correcting the bill, he suddenly "forgot" how to fix the system. That excuse was insulting and only made the situation worse. As a paying customer, I expect honesty and transparency -- not games and shady excuses. From my perspective, it looked like Melissa intentionally added charges just so she could later void items and ensure she walked away with a bigger tip. That's beyond shady -- that's theft. The fact that both the server and the manager handled it this way shows a serious lack of professionalism and integrity at this location. Warning to anyone considering coming here: always double-check your bill. If this happened to me, it can absolutely happen to you. Until management takes accountability and stops employees from playing these games with customers' money, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. read more

Similar to a TGIF restaurant. Maybe more beers on tap? I took out from this place twice. The first time was some entree with Nashville chicken at the main entree which I liked, but I wasn't like it was the critically good food that would super wow me. I did not expect it to wow me, but I expected to like it which I did. The second time I came to this place, I wanted to specifically try just this Captain Jack slice I saw some people raving about off of the Miller's Ale House Facebook page. I could not order the ice cream slice online and had to order it in-person. They only let you order an ice cream pint of the Captain Jack flavor online. I think they do this because if they had the slice ready to go sooner, then maybe the cake slice is more likely to melt and not be to the customer's satisfaction. I wish they would mention online that they had this slice option but that it had to be ordered in-person rather than me having to call in to ask this question and ask if they ran out of this item or not. The waitress who was at the counter here was so friendly and she chatted to me about how the restaurant is struggling to keep workers and overhiring and still not ending up w enough people. read more

It's been a while since I came to this location. The menu has changed. I only like seafood and it seems the few seafood items they serve that I prefer has to be fried now. That's not a complete dealbreaker, but If I'm paying to eat, I should be able to eat what I prefer. The cleanliness was questionable. As soon as I walked in the door the floor felt sticky. The table also felt sticky. We went there right after they opened so you would expect the bathroom to be clean. It was not. I could see grime everywhere and it smelled of urine. The waitress was new and didn't think to ask if we wanted separate checks, so she put everything on one. People have to learn so that was an acceptable mistake. She was also very kind. The manager needs fired! It appeared our waiter was the only server on a very busy Sunday night. There was no organization and we saw a mouse. Nope! Nope! I have been there multiple times and it's simply horrible. The staff is too busy entertaining each other to have consistent food and alcoholic beverages. The alcoholic beverages are simply horrible. The food is mediocre at best. There is no attention to details....wilted lettuce...sucky nachos....very basic wings. Only thing I really didn't like was the lunch menu, they didn't have any good options, so I had to order off the dinner menu. Service was very rude and arrogant, the bartender was very rude and judged when she first came on to her shift. Don't think we will be back anytime soon. We've been there many times in the past and even worked there. Nope! Not again! Miller's Ale House In Springfield screwed up real bad. We asked for breaded wings (24 half medium and half mango hab.) Well, they came out not breaded So we sent them back. They then came back 20 min later looking burned and extra done ... ( after a drink or two). And well we weren't happy, they looked burned. As if they just breaded the same plate and stuck them back in the fryer and then re-sauced. . Gross. But I was hungry so I ate one or two, chewing.... Our bartender , MIMI was great she re ordered them and got us our correct order after a bit. (3 or 4 drinks each and water) Then after we ate our 24 wings and our fully loaded fries a new bartender came on and she was rude as anything. And just plain ignorant. The sad thing is, both AJ and I used to work at this place and we love the ones that we know that still work here. Apparently one with a speech impediment and triggers should not go because people will kick them out and judge them!!! ( With the new employees) . Be careful y'all. Know this , I DO NOT PLAY!!!! So not understanding the wait unless all the tables are not available because of Covid. Awesome place. My visit everything was on point. From the bartender to the cobb salad. Ordered delivery, food was very average. And I didn't feel well for a couple days afterwards.

Gonna make this quick, a group of friends ordered food from this place, 5 items, 2 very good, 3 absolutely terrible, hence the 2 stars. Fish and chip - not fully cooked, extremely soggy and the fish was not done. trash. Onion rings - bad grease maybe? Taste was bad and very oily. Chicken Alfredo - chicken missing, maybe a teaspoon of Alfredo sauce. So dry, and tasteless. Burger - VERY VERY GOOD. Seasoned, cooked well, a winner. Donut bites - SUPERB! Light and fluffy melt in your mouth and all the sauces on the side are great. We spent over $60 bucks and ppl were left hungry so no not eating here again. But hey if you eat here get a burger and those donuts. read more

I was here with 3 other people , I ordered the grilled salmon with 2 sides that included mashed potatoes and vegetables. The salmon had nice grill marks on although it was a touch over cooked because it was a bit dry and it was a bit under seasoned so I added more salt to mine and asked for some lemon wedges to add flavor. The mash potato side was rustic some of the skin was shown within and the gravy was very rich. My other friend ordered ribeye and asked for horseradish because that's what it's traditionally eaten with it too and unfortunately they didn't have any. The steak wasn't freshly made to the rest of the tables dishes , she got a cold plate and I wish they would've brought her plate out on the correct timing to the other dishes of the table. There was also this Mac n cheese dish that supposedly had a breadcrumb topping, but ours didn't have that, other than that the Mac n cheese was overly greasy especially while looking at the bottom of the bowl. read more

Miller's, Oh Miller's...I missed you. Sometimes you should just treat yourself, and what a treat it was. Ordered the potstickers for my appetizer - so yummy. Everyone can't make these right, but my friends at Miller's knows what they are doing. I then had a half rack of ribs and a loaded potato. Heaven...or maybe I was hungry it was good either way. I then tasted the coleslaw and they got that right too. I then went all out and ordered dessert. The brownie was warm and simply delicious. Not often that I order dessert but I treated myself and I am so glad I did. Do me a favor, be sure to treat yourself too. read more

We've been coming here as they are one of the few establishments opened later for dinner and drinks. Every time the hostess who had sat us has given us attitude about the size of our party. We arrived at 10:30pm with a large group after an event on 07/22/22. Immediately her eyes rolled and we were told there round be a long wait, which we were ok with. By the way we were seated really quickly. When we were seated, not only were our menus slammed on the tables we recieved a lecture by the same hostess, with attitude, about the inability to split checks, last call time for drinks and that if our full party did not arrive by a specific time they would not be served food. We were told several times thier system couldn't handle more than one check. How does that even make sense? We were simply asking for two, one for each side as we were split seated across isles. It felt like we were being scolded like children. Our waitress, on the other hand, was very accommodating and helpful. We spent over $700, you'd think the business would be appreciated. I'm sorry but the hostess needs some service training. Big time. read more

Service was SO BAD. The last time we came, the barmaid was a petite woman with a huge bubbly personality so we came back. This time it was a big dude with locks, he was...unmotivated. Every dirty glass, every dirty dish stuffed with filthy napkins, he just left them on the counter, all lined up as if some magic dishwasher was going to take care of them. The whole bar was littered with dirty glasses and dishes. We had to move them out of the way so we could sit down. It was a Sunday early afternoon, they hadn't even been open that long, it wasn't busy at all. We had to wait for him to notice us for every refill, to take our orders, to check on us. It would've saved time if I could've just made my own drinks and gone to the kitchen to pick up my own food ha ha ha ha. We had to ask him to wipe off the bar because our arms were sticking to it. The kicker was when a woman came to relieve him. She was just as unmotivated, she looked like she either just came from a funeral or was about to go to one. I slipped her a $5 bill and told her I felt bad that she had to clean up his mess. She immediately went to the guy and told him what I said, and then they both stared at me. It was awkward and funny at the same time. I remember when Miller's first opened, it was an exciting time. I watched them tear down the little brick house that was there before and then build this from the ground up. They should just raze this place and start over from scratch. Anyhooo...we won't be back.
