Ordered jumbo wings! Just about the smallest wings I've ever had anywhere! But that is not the issue. I didn't eat I decided I was going elsewhere I would just ask for a box. After what took too long for the place having only a handful of patrons, the tender comes and asks w a snearing lip and the vilest of attitudes "what's wrong with them" I replied "I'm just genuinely disappointed!" She had the audacity to yell to other customers "who wants these? They're too small for him!" To which I replied " I would be embarrassed if I were you to serve those "jumbo"wings to anybody!" If your wings are good, but small, that's OK quality over quantity right but you can't call them jumbo on the menu! And who talks to people like that in service and keeps customers while making tips read more

I had an incredible Veteran's day appreciation meal at Hunt's . The service was great and the complementary wings were amazing. Thank you very much. I must add that the beer was always cold and delicious. This was only a second time that I visit this establishment, but they make you feel as if you were family. read more

I never write reviews but I have to for the experience I had last night! I had my husbands 40th birthday at Hunt's last night and it was AMAZING! The staff literally went above and beyond. During the planning Christina answered emails within mins. She Was sooo helpful with picking out the food we wanted and made sure everything was perfect. Even asked ahead of time what the majority of people drink so that the bar was fully stocked. Shannon the bartender was the BEST not only was she so sweet, she helped me set up, decorate and made sure we had the music we wanted. Brian the bar back was on point! At one point the owner came down and even asked us if the temperature of the room was ok and if not he can turn the heat up or down. How freaking nice/accommodating. And to top it off the foood was amazing. People were literally raving over it. The room size was perfect for a party of 60 people so nice and CLEAN! I will definitely be renting their private room out again. We had the best time and experience. And to top it of it was soooo affordable! read more

I had spicy parmesan wings and water. The wings were good and I can see why some people rave over them. I wasn't personally "gaga" over them, but I'd definitely eat them again. People who work here are friendly. One of the TVs is in the way if a group people were asked to sit at one of the semi-corners of the bar. I wouldn't even consider it a "seat". Almost seems like a table extension should be created there instead so that there's more room for food and that a 4th person isn't sitting in such an awkward spot dining and feeling unwelcome. Good, local crowd. I like the fact that the lounge is now non-smoking. read more

Ordered on doordash pick up was 15 minutes waited 30 after arriving to the restaurant to pick up. Curly fries were just pieces nothing curly about them. Not one! Chicken cutlet sandwich was basic school lunch type. Pass on that. Lemon pepper wings were good! Prices are 3x higher if you don't go into the restaurant and eat for wings. The burger was good but the bun was smashed when I got it. No lettuce tomatoes- just cheese and a burger and a bun. Not worth the 50$ I spent, barely worth 30. read more

If you are excited to experience having drinks with a loud, ignorant and obnoxious crowd YOU definitely found the right place to go!! It was bad enough that the locals were incapable of talking to each other or anyone else. They were loud & proud about SCREAMING EVERYTHING THEY SAID! I mean it was unbearable !!!! I was embarrassed for them for SO MANY REASONS. Moving on- My boyfriend and I ordered food and OMG yet another DISAPPOINTMENT. The pulled pork w Au Jus sauce was unbelievably DRY. I asked for more sauce and was told that they didn't have any. Makes sense now. I ended up w gravy and it didn't help at all. The tvs had random politics on and an no music! I am super shocked that they have been in business for so long. A TOTAL Waste of money!! If you have a low tolerance for idiotic behavior then stay far away! 0 stars! Tried it out for the first time because people rave about their wings and food. Wings are EXCELLENT! Crispy but not dry and amazing flavor. Also their burgers are clearly not frozen and are amazing with the toasted bun. Fries are good too. Bf got the pulled pork quesadilla and loved it! Service was great! Friendly and attentive staff on a busy Saturday night! Ambiance is a sports bar feel, but still very nice for a bar, with dining tables and of course bar seating. Would recommend - 9 of 10! Only reason for minus a point is the steps we had to go up from the entrance in the back...but not really a huge deal. read more

My first time and only time eating here I simply ordered food through Uber eats and a staff member at this location didn't honor my order that I paid for (extra sauce) and didn't accommodate me even for the inconvenience nobody wants to eat dry food... And they used foul language that I didn't appreciate at all. read more

I went to T mobile to update my iPhone and being relatively new to the area I asked the manager who has the best wings in the area. She told me Hunt's right across the street. Being a wing fanatic I had to give it a go. I was not disappointed. I stooped in and was greeted by Chris and Sammi. I had an order to go and an extremely cold coors light draft. Went because my cousin and I were on a mission to find the best cheesesteak egg rolls. They were very good. Good amount of meat. In my opinion could have used a little more seasoning. The one downfall was I didn't think there was enough cheese. However these definitely appear to be made in house which makes them far superior to 95% of other places that get them frozen from a distributor. The star of the evening was the grilled cheese cheese steak on Texas toast. Wow one of the best sandwiches I've had. Taste was excellent. Great mix of meat and of course cheesey enough. Texas toast was a nice twist and I would definitely return for this. It's not on the menu but should be. Same sandwich is on the menu but it is a buffalo chicken cheesesteak version. This was a pleasant surprise!! Carole and I were here a couple weeks ago for the cheesesteak egg rolls, which are amazing!! We saw on the menu a cheesesteak on Texas toast. That is what we came back for. It wasn't what I had envisioned. But I t was fantabulous!! It was a cheesesteak grilled cheese on Texas toast, amazing on amazing on amazing. Came with fries and cole slaw. $7, yes $7. Amazing on amazing on amazing with fries and cole slaw for $7. Hunt's has a great menu, a terrific staff and a really polished new look. I've gone often with friends to grab a bite and listen to music. Not only that, I've attended and hosted several events in their private room. It's spacious with a dedicated bar and rest room. Ask for Vince, he'll be happy to help you coordinate your party with a full array of menu options. This is a not-so-hidden gem of a place! read more

I didn't realize I put a review on here 4 years ago. Still a great local spot for Delco or Philly county people. The food menu is always updated with great food selections. For a 3 generational ownership business, it's nice to see some traditional items mixed in with newer items to pick from. Friendly staff and environment as well. read more

I've heard so much about the wings. One Sunday while my wife took the kid to her aunt's house, I seized the opportunity. I went with spicy garlic Parmesan wings. I'm now certain these are close to the best wings I've had in this area of Delco. Perfect texture, wonderful flavor, and they reminded me of wings I've had in Buffalo. I got a side of cheese and nacho chips. They were more basic. The wings are the star here for sure. read more

This place is great. Always willing to cater to whatever you want with your food and drinks! Vince can whip up a hell of a meal on the spot if you're not sure what you want - its like he has a secret menu in his head. The regular cook Mark is also great at what he does -- this place really turned around in appearance from a few years ago too. All around a great spot to hand, drink and eat. Always feel safe there too - its a place everyone knows your name! I read a review from some lady a few scrolls down ... Nobody in there wants to drug/bang you or your sister lady - calm it down ya pretentious jerk go smoke another marlboro ya hag. Hunts is amazing. Friendly bartenders and good food, but rude management. Went for a DJ night and to me the music sounded great, but the "who I would assume was the owner or manager " was busting in this kid DJ'ing saying that the music sounded like crap and the lights were bright and was practically yelling at this kid for doing nothing wrong. And you could see this guys negative energy to his staff also. I wouldn't want to go support a business with that type of person running it. read more

Just picked up a delivery meal there and there were at least 20+ people inside without masks. None of the bartenders/servers had masks. The only people with them were people leaving and me. Restaurants are not supposed to have inside dining right now. Can't imagine not one person in there has COVID and is spreading it. read more

Best wings in Delco! Their wing sauce goes great with almost anything! Great beer specials everyday and great bartenders. Appetizers are great, sandwiches are great, live music/DJ/Quizzo is great. A medium sized "dive" bar with the best wings around. Mostly locals from Ridley, that is a friendly and fun crowd. Plenty of HDTVs for all your Philly sports watching. It's definitely off the beaten path, but you'll love the wings, and certainly be back once you've had them. The frequently have entertainment. Quizzo, DJ's, and live music. One of our drinks was made wrong, and when we finally got her attention, she seemed annoyed she needed to come to our table and actually walked away while we were still talking, which felt really dismissive. What makes it more frustrating is that there's an automatic 18% gratuity even for small tables. I ended up having to tipping $22 total, and for only seeing her a handful of times, it definitely didn't feel deserved. To top it off, when I mentioned to the head bartender (who was acting as the manager) that I wouldn't be coming back, he pulled $40 cash out of his own wallet and offered it to me to "give them another chance." It honestly made me feel so uncomfortable and was not an appropriate way to handle the situation. The food was fine, but the service and overall experience were not. For the prices and the built-in tip, I expected much better. I will not be returning.

A friend and I came by for a quiet supper to catch up and hopefully have an enjoyable dining experience. To start off, the Caesar salad and focaccia were indeed quite tasty. After being talked into trying the tasting menu, I was disheartened upon taking my first bite of the chicken Parmigiana and accompanying pasta. Both seemed as if they had been sitting for a while and then were unevenly reheated. The pasta, in particular, was lackluster and worse than anything I might have hurriedly boiled at eleven at night upon arriving home after a long trip and finding only packaged pasta and canned tomato sauce in the cupboard. But I could have lived with all of this had it not been for the service. Clearly my friend and I were the afterthought of all afterthoughts to our disinterested waitress. After hounding us to order before we had properly reviewed the menu, she promptly put us on the pay-no-mind list, as dirty dish after dirty dish accumulated at the table from the tasting menu she had so strongly urged me to try. I also abhor cheapness on the part of restaurants. Would it have killed Rosemary to offer us a second piece of focaccia, given that there were two of us and the portion was a better fit for just one? Lest anyone accuse me of having expected the waitstaff to read my mind, I indeed asked. It's not like we weren't spending a pretty penny there. The business could have well afforded to allow each of us a reasonable portion of its much-touted starter. After we finally managed to flag down our waitress amid the plethora of dirty dishes still sporting some of the mediocre food, I paid in cash on account of the restaurant informing me on the bill that a surcharge would be applied to a credit card transaction. Another joy! When the waitress took the note, she said, "Thank you," and that was that. I decided against calling after her to request change since it was one of those borderline instances where the note was close enough to twenty percent that it is a bit awkward to request someone return with change. So she walked off with a 26% or so tip after having left us on the dining equivalent of "read" the entire night. And then there's the issue of price: While not outrageous, everything is 15-20% more expensive than it should be, and after one pauses to think about it, the tasting menu offers barely any deal at all. If one orders the chicken like I did, it is no cheaper than ordering the starter, entrée, and dessert à la carte. If Rosemary had also offered, say, a soup, then it would be a deal. But clearly generosity is not in its owner's purview. In the parking lot, an individual none of us knew -- a college-aged kid who appeared out of nowhere -- was told by the bouncer to put his beer away. Instead of complying, he poured it down his pants. The bouncer then assumed this person was part of our group and refused us entry. At no point did anyone ask whether we knew him. When we tried to clarify, the bartender was dismissive and told us they wouldn't serve us because of our supposed association with him. No questions, no benefit of the doubt, just a blanket assumption. I understand that staff have to make quick judgment calls at the door, and I don't fault them for addressing the actual problem. What I take issue with is the refusal to spend ten seconds verifying who was actually involved before turning away a group of paying customers -- one of whom has spent a fair amount of money here over the years. The wings are good. The way the staff handled this was not. We won't be returning.

I can easily finish one on my own. I also really enjoy the gravy fries here but they're a bit salty and heavy so I just stick with the sandwich if I don't want to deal with a food coma afterwards.
