Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I was referred by the manufacturer to this business to inquire about a specific type of flooring. Rather than offering guidance or helping me find a solution, the person I spoke with seemed more interested in ending the call than assisting. What a joke of a place, they rip off older people, and provide horrible floors. From an attic ladder being on the floor maybe 7 times it causes a gash in the floor like really? Even normal use has caused problems. My favorite is they installed some siding around the island ( looks cheap) and then it starts to break and chip and they of course wait and wait to call back until the warranty is done. UPDATES We have carpet!! The bedroom is gorgeous and plush. The men installing the carpet are amazing, they communicate with the customer for a perfect fit. Casey even stopped by to check the work. After such a long LONG time our order is complete. During Casey's visit she even is compensating us for all the complications. Great to see a company focused to make things right. If I could give 0 stars I would. I'd give negative stars! We are waiting over two months for carpet we already paid for. Casey the manager calls from multiple numbers, literally blowing off our installment. We have been promised numerous times specific dates and then are called the morning of being told they just aren't going to come. She refuses to find a solution and expects us to continue to wait. Casey now won't answer her phone for us anymore. Half our home has no floors, nails sticking out of it, and the other half is storing the items that we could move from that room. The safety and consideration of the customer is their last priority. We have been living in disarray for way to long. I would recommend ANY ONE ELSE. After sending her a list of my window needs and what we were looking for, we met with her in their Seaside showroom. She understood what we were looking for and guided us to a great product right away patiently explaining and illustrating the different depths of coverage in the blind material. The installation with Steve McManus and Leslie went very well and any "tweaks" were addressed in a timely manner. We went with both motorized and manual shades and LOVE them. We have had marked difficulties with their post installation carpet care. Their carpet cleaning was abysmal. Many stains would not come out on the stain resistant carpet, in spite of numerous attempts. And the owners weren't very helpful with the guaranteed replacement. They left it up to us to try. I was purchasing carpet from Millers for my stairs. The bid they gave me after coming out to measure and take pictures, included taking out the carpet and disposing it, plus install. I had already removed all the carpeting ourselves with 2 men for 6 hours work. When I mentioned this to Lisa at Millers they said its all inclusive in their install price and there is no way to deduct the removal. After accepting their quote and giving them check for the total amount, Lisa informed me that the installer needs to come out again and look at the steps. Once they came and looked at the steps, again, I was told the install was greater than they originally planned. My next quote was $1300.00 more! They said they needed to make a template and cut each step and that is time consuming. When I ended up purchasing my carpet from a very nice local dealer, the installer told me yes, that is what you do for steps; it is standard procedure, and that it is no big deal. I ended up purchasing the carpet + plus install for $1800 less than Millers!! I don't like how they said one thing and got me to order & then they tried to switch the pricing. Bait and switch! Plus they wouldn't deduct the removal costs or credit it to the install pricing. A few years ago I had a very negative experience with Millers, again over switching the pricing, but I thought it was the salespersons doing; how wrong I was! They are deceitful and dishonest! We purchased Hunter Douglas blinds through this dealer 4 years ago- several of them have never been right, however we have learned to live with it. The valance on our dining room blind have fallen TWICE. The first time they fell and hit me in the head. After waiting MONTHS for a new valance we were assured it would not fall again- guess what? It fell again 3 days ago. Multiple calls and emails to the store and no return calls or emails. After spending over $3k on blinds for my home I expect better customer service than this. They were installed wrong and cut wrong, because they were measured wrong- whose fault is that? The store and representative that came out to measure- my windows and doors did not change. If we don't hear back tomorrow we are contacting corporate- which I want to do anyway because the blinds in the dining room have been wrong since the day they were installed- My advice is to go to another dealer if you want Hunter Douglas blinds- you don't have to buy them here- read more

My insurance company asked me to give them a call when their Premier Provider was taking 7 months to get my carpet in. Once I visited Millers, within a couple days, we had selected the perfect carpet, they had ordered, and they monitored its delivery so that we could install as soon as it arrived. We're long-time residents who have used Miller's for quite a while; however, this time Brent and Roland were absolutely fabulous! We had 11 oriental rugs that were cleaned to perfection, brought back on time and laid on the rug pads as they should be (not always true with some companies). Ronald is apparently the gentleman who cleans the rugs and Wow! what a great job. Can't say enough about Miller's and their rates are super competitive. Wouldn't use anyone else. If there is something you need, or a problem handled, Brent seems to be the go-to guy and is one of the most polite people (probably because he's a true Southern Gentleman) we've ever met. Bought new carpet for the entire house and it was fine until I had an issue ! The carpet came loose and there was a little bump and it needed to be stretched! I called Eric who I dealt with and he said sure no problem! That was six months ago!!!! I just called him last week (This is July 2017) said thanks for not helping me and I was thinking that I'd like one flight of stairs and the entire living room in hardwood floors and why should I go with him. Carpet is a great value. However, service from Linda was beyond terrible. It took 4 tries to get the estimate correct for a simple 2 bedroom and hall carpet replacement. Then she just barely ordered enough carpet for one of the bedrooms. My wife had to send her measurements repeatedly to ensure there was enough material and the estimate was correct. Then the installation - it was quick and timely. However, a day after the install we noticed a crinkle when we walked down the hall. When the installer came back to investigate, he noticed that the vapor barrier that he installed had numerous bubbles from moisture. There is no moisture under our house and we have a vapor barrier under the house as well. Miller's solution was to cut the bubbles and tape over the cuts! Now we still have the crinkle issue. The correct solution was to install vapor barrier again (that was not exposed to moisture the morning of the install as it rained that morning of the installation) and ensure there were no bubbles after the installation. The vapor barrier also dos not go under the tack strips. The installer put in the tack strips first and then the vapor barrier in between instead of a continuous sheet. We even had to correct the installer to place vapor barrier where there was no barrier from the original install. Never dealt with such an organization that was as helpless as Miller carpet. Ok to buy carpet from - just don't have them install it! read more

We had carpet installed throughout the house, and were able to plan two installation dates that fit our schedule perfectly.. In ordering the carpet, they made very certain that we ordered just the amount that we needed with careful planning of cut patterns and pieces, the installation was flawless, and the crew and staff very friendly and accommodating. My wife and I wanted a carpet put in so we called around and Miller's Carpet had the best prices. We talked to Craig, and he was friendly and helpful. We brought back home samples and padding and found the right match. When the carpet came, I thought the pad was different than what we ordered. I talked to Sharon, and she was informative and helpful. The next morning, at her invitation, I brought samples of the pad and carpet to make sure it was what I ordered, and Sharon was kind and patient. It turned out everything was as I ordered, and perfect. Later, Adam the installer did a fantastic job installing the carpet, and was professional and accurate. My husband and myself decided to due some long overdue work on our home. It was in dire need of a do over. We started with our flooring and the last time we did this was 25+ years ago. I cannot begin to tell you about this friendly professional store who has been in business for over 40 years. From from the time I walked in and was greeted by Kimberley to Sharon and Craig. These people are a fine tuned machine who never rushed me or pushed me into buying anything. I ordered flooring and here comes James the Rock Star who did the work of three men. All he wanted to know was our wants and needs and just did his thing. James was only doing half the job and coming back to finish the other rooms. Sadly I was not that happy with the color "I" picked out and went back to Millers and here comes Sharon and Craig to my rescue. They both told me "if you're not happy we're not happy let's make this work." Are you kidding me! They both worked with me and did not make me feel uncomfortable once. Bottom line, if you need any kind of flooring this is the place to go. What other place would do what "all" these amazing people did for my husband and myself. The crew who installs the floors is rude, disrespectful and does poor work. They walked through my house with dirty shoes and scratched the hardwood floors in the living room. When they installed the wooden floor in my bedroom they broke a hinge on the door. I asked them to please put down a mat so they would not do further damage to my house and he ignored my comment and was extremely rude. The quality of the wood floor we ordered was good but it was expensive and they did a poor job installing it and wrecked parts of my molding. I recommend you don't go to this store ever! read more

The people at Miller's Carpet One did an outstanding job of installing carpet in my bedroom and bathroom two years ago. So when it came time to replace the carpet in the lower level of my home last year, I decided to go back to them. What I learned is that carpet is carpet -- you get what you pay for and you can buy cheap or you can buy the best. But if the installation job is crappy, you have crap, no matter how expensive the carpet. Miller's carpet installers completely botched the second installation, which includes two bedrooms, an office, a media room and a hall. The installers left marks and dings on the molding and walls, all of which Miller's took care of after the fact. Seams are very apparent (they tell me now its the type of carpet, not the installation, which they may be correct about -- I wish they'd told me this when I bought it?) And there are ongoing problems, such as where the carpet is pulling away from the wall in two locations, leaving gaps under the molding. You can see that the carpet was trimmed too small. They will hopefully come back to fix this -- they say they will. But I've had to call repeatedly to get someone to come back to my home. My advice is, if you buy carpet here, make certain you have their A-team installers or forget it. read more
