I'm kinda shocked by these reviews. We had an issue with our 40' RV getting stuck. Our roadside coverage contacted Miller's Wrecker and they sent out a wrecker in about an hour. Our two guys (Thomas and Quaid) were super helpful and knowledgeable. Picking up a 40' vehicle is no small task, but they handled it professionally and got our vehicle unstuck and back on the road quickly and safely. I cannot say enough about how great and professional our wrecker operators were. I can't speak about their dispatch as our carrier dealt with them directly, but the service we received was top notch. read more

I personally had the best experience. I had a flat on my horse trailer and Miller's is part of the AAA partnership, the young man called within 20 minutes of me calling AAA and was on his way. I trusted Miller and appreciated how kind they were as I used them before. So when I got in a car wreck I was happy to use them as my towing service. That has proven to be a mistake. I can understand they need to make money but I can't understand being so rude not only be but my family. The guy on the line sounded high up/the owner, and he was nothing but rude and blatantly rude about it I think he just felt so much higher than me. I called AAA 6/6/2022 for a tow . They sent Miller towing and recovery from Huston Oak Tx. The driver ( African American with dreadlocks) Decided to grab my knee I said remove your hand. After awhile of the driver had the audacity to try to grab my boob by pertaining to scratch his side. I pulled away. My daughter was shifting herself and he asked if you want to get out on a stretch of road with nothing around. She declined. The driver also was texting and driving. The trailer got hit because he was distracted. I didn't spend $404. To be groped. Totally unprofessional. You should feel safe with your driver and not creeped out. This is the worst experience and excuse for a company. I waited 5 hours in 97degree heat for this truck. Finally left my car and came home. Early next morning alerted on star I still needed tow. Received email Millers was " on" their way. I called on star back and said I wouldn't hire this company to haul my trash to curb!! Used my State Farm app and my car was on trailer in 15 minutes. Their driver told us he called his office and told his boss he could not perform the job and the response from Millers was "too bad so sad". They are refusing to refund the $500. AWEFUL service. My car broke down last summer and it took them 6 hours and 10+ calls to get them out to me in the 110°f Texas heat. Tonight I got in an accident and called again (I know, I should have learned from last time, but this is one of the only companies my insurance works with). I called at 9pm, it's current 1am and no one has showed. I called many times and they stopped picking up the phone and went home for the night even though "they're 24 hrs". I am disappointed that I had to cancel my tow service. I understand that businesses need to make money. However, I was quoted a $150.00 hook-up fee and $4.00 a mile. Alright, it was still more than I am able to pay .... I needed my car towed one mile. And the fuel fee was $25!!!! Regardless of my mileage. Let's not over overcharge good customers Sir. If there was a way to rate this place with a NEGATIVE star, I'd dial down as far as permissible. if you Google "piss poor customer service" Miller towing will be the first site to appear. My insurance road side assistance contracts with them so I'm guessing Miller towing are bottom feeders. Unbelievable that my son needed a tow twice in 2 months and guess who the roadside assistance stuck him with both times? First time, they told him they'd pick him up in about an hour. 3 hours later, still no tow truck. And no call to update him when they'd be there. I called and bitched and got the rudest woman on the phone. Her excuse; "there are motorists stuck on the interstate that are a higher priority." Second time he needed a tow, same company, same result. EXCEPT, I got smart and called Wendy at Alliance Towing and Recovery after Miller left my son waiting over 3 hours.. Absolutely worst company I have ever dealt with! First time they were used through insurance and after waiting 5 hours and no one showing up we called and scheduled it for 8 am. The next day they showed up at 11 am. Every time you call they tell you there is someone dispatched and it will be about 30 minutes. Very disappointed in business practices. Charged over 2x quoted price to move shipping container 14 miles. Sent driver that had never moved container before, driver never had to backup to pick up, I moved into place right behind truck. Had winch trouble and loaded incorrectly, drop off in wide open and hung container on trailer during off load after waiting for truck at drop off for 45 mins (I left once container was loaded, not sure where they went). Called to discuss with office, owners would not speak to me to resolve or even hear concerns. Our car broke down in Weatherford on a very hot day I have COPD I can't stay out in the heat for long periods of time. I was able to get a business in the strip mall where the car was to let me sit inside while waiting on the tow truck. The woman on the phone was very nice very friendly. I have roadside assistance through Verizon wireless and I have been assigned to them 4 times. The first time, they were on time. 2nd time. I had to wait 3 hours to have my car towed to the mechanic. 3rd time. I waited 3.5 hours and finally requested Verizon to cancel and request another company. Lady at the towing office was really rude and kept adding time to my wait time. The 2nd company only took 45 min to arrive. 4th time....last night. I was stranded. They gave us a 90minute window and 2 hours later we saw them drive by so we called the dispatcher thinking they just missed us and she told us they "had to go help someone out real quick" and that it would only be 25-30 min. My roadside assistance dispatched these guys. They arrived with a wrecker so big it couldn't fit up the driveway. I had told roadside assistance I was at the top of a driveway; not sure they relayed that to the wrecker. I just needed a jump start. They said they'd send me a smaller truck that could help me, but was unable to provide an ETA. That truck never arrived even after 6 hours. Meanwhile, they reported the job completed to roadside assistance, and my phone battery died waiting for them over 6 hours. So, if I could give zero stars, I would. They sent me a notification of the timeframe of when they would be towing my inoperable vehicle from a shop, to the dealership. The window given was 4:50on-5:20pm. Since the shop closes at 7:00pm, that have been perfect. I received a call at 10:00pm stating they were there to get my car and inquired as to where my keys were. I informed them that they would be inside the now closed business and they would need to return the following day so they could also get my keys since they didn't arrive in the timeframe given. They towed it anyways to a dealership that was also now closed. They left my car can outside the dealership in an unsecured location, and without my keys. When I contacted them the following day regarding my keys and needing them, they informed me that there was nothing they could do because they're too busy. That is my only vehicle, and I don't have a vehicle to drive 30 miles to get my keys that y'all failed to bring with my vehicle. Leaving my car in an insecure location is unacceptable no matter how you look at it. Absolutely wouldn't recommend them to anyone, ever. read more

I had to have my car towed last night. While on the phone with Bre (apparently the only kind and professional person working there) discussing where we were going to have it towed, the tow man called. I placed her on hold to answer his call. I explained to him that she was on the other line checking the distance my insurance company would cover for the tow and asked him if he could please hold so I could find out this info for him. He replied verbatim "I don't hold for anyone. I'll call you back when I'm done". I let Bre know he said that. She stated she was calling him right then to discuss. Well, I guess that pissed him off bc this morning I received a call from my car dealership stating "whoever towed it here left it in front of the gate, completely blocking it, with the keys ON THE SEAT totally visible. Tow companies all know there are designated places to leave the cars, as well as that they're supposed to lock the car doors and place the keys in the lockbox". I just got off the phone with Millers to let them know this information. The lady today (Brandy) just defended the man's actions the entire convo, then when I realized she didn't care and the conversation was going nowhere, I said "ok thank you" and she hung up. No reply, no goodbye, just hung up in my face. TERRIBLE customer service from the get-go (again, EXCEPT Bre). My tow order was accepted at 11:19 said they would be at my location between 12:20 to 12:35. at 1:45 I called and they said they were really busy and it would be another hour. So at 2:00 I call and they said it was going to be another hour. Then at 2:45 i was told another hour. Finally at 3:05 I called Reggie at Pep Boys and told him what they were doing. He called them and the woman tells him they're really busy and it would be another 45 minutes. She had no concern worst attitude on the lack of customer service my having to wait 4 hours so far. DO NOT USE!!!! There is a reason they have AWFUL reviews on every site. We were assigned Miller's through our insurance company when my husband's diesel broke down. Originally they told us 40-60 minutes, which was fine. Once it was update to "en route", it got pushed back an additional 60 minutes. After this happened again, I called and she assured me they were on their way. LIES! In total, I spoke with them a total of 4 times and eventually was able to speak to the driver directly. At 1:00 pm ish is when we got assigned Miller's. The driver himself told me he didn't get the assignment until 5:00 pm (after we had been reassured he was already on his way mind you). Then the time got changed to 80 minutes ETA. I called dispatch and was placed on hold... for almost 11 minutes. I hung up and called back only to be told I was never on hold?! She actually told me that. Umm ma'am, I promise you, I listened to y'alls REALLY loud country music that y'all play while on hold for almost 11 minutes. When I brought up the fact that they have VERY less than stellar reviews online, her reply was "Well go ahead and add to them if you like" and hung up. The drive himself told me dispatch had been lying to customer's all day and that it was his 3rd day and he was quitting already. I don't blame him, I would NEVER work for this company and nor will they ever see a dime from me/my policy. I cancelled the tow and called a local wrecker who was there in 30 minutes. While we were pulling away (at 7:00 pm) the Miller's wrecker was showing up. He honked and went on his way. I was never so glad to pay the local wrecker the $150 plus a tip! The driver himself was pleasant on the phone and I am sure is a good guy. The office and how they run things, NOT AT ALL. PS the driver was coming from Carrolton (at 6 pm), which is an hour from here. If they didn't have a wrecker available in a timely manner, they shouldn't have accepted the job. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT use Miller's Wrecking EVER!! It's worth your money to call someone else. If your insurance company assigns them to you, call claims back and request a different company. Your insurance company works for you! You DO NOT have to accept the company they send out. I will also be contacting State Farms contract department to file a complaint and request they terminate their contract with Miller's. read more

This wrecker company left my 78 yr old aunt and myself stranded on the side of the road in the middle of the night for nearly 2 hrs (11pm-1am) waiting on a tow truck. We had called AAA Roadside Assistance and they attempted to dispatch a truck from this company. But due to the fact that Miller's knew they were next up on the police rotation cycle and would make more money if they waited on a police call instead, they decided to put the AAA agents (2 of them) on hold indefinitely and reported to us that they never got the call. Funny thing how AAA knew the dispatcher's name, however, if they never spoke to each other as Miller's claimed. We did end up calling the police for safety and they had to set us up the tow, which was, of course, next up in the rotation. Then, the next day instead of being honest with us, Miller's claimed that although they recorded all phone activity somehow they were unable to get those records to print (conveniently). Then, they told us the city enforced their price for the tow through the police department, which was apparently our only option to get their service, but that they could waive all of the additional fees (all except the money Miller's gets to keep, incidentally) since we've been loyal customers with Miller's for several years. However, we would have to immediately pay them $245 via credit card to get this "discount" for this 4 mile tow. Needless to say, they've just lost these loyal customers. read more
