It's walking distance from the main-drag and a short drive away from all the wineries. Our room, the Dickenson, had a whirlpool tub and nice sitting chairs. In the hallway outside the rooms there is also a 24/7 coffee/tea/soda/water fridge/keurig setup which was wonderful. If you're a book/music lover, you'll be delighted by the plethora of books and CDs spread throughout the house and in the rooms. There is a variety of music available, but with a preference for jazz (which I share). The living room space is cozy and has comfortable seating with a nice fire-place. Breakfast is outstanding: 1) coffee, high quality tea, juices; 2) a fruit and bread starter (we had a great yogurt parfait with granola and loads of fresh fruit; and the BEST peanut butter-chocolate bread!); 3) a main plate with something either savory or sweet and usually some kind of little meat on the side along with some kind of salad (our main one day was a decadent orange maple french toast, and it was an egg/broccoli soufflé another day; they mix it up well). I would use three words to describe my experience: accommodating, elegant, and professional. I have been "bed and breakfasting" for over 30 years and Eva is the real deal. My room was spotless. My bed was exceedingly comfortable. The breakfast was hot and comforting! And all the while, at breakfast, Eva regaled me with stories of how a movie was shot on location at this inn. I did not have a chance to sit and read on the veranda in one of the many chairs. I was only in for an overnight for a wedding but I will sure to put this on my list of bed and breakfasts to re-visit! Kudos!!

The best part, he is a chef so we had an amazing breakfast every morning (see pics). This b&b is about a 20 minute walk to Clifton hill and the falls. Parking is expensive so I'd recommend walking. The rooms were comfy and the decor was cute. We stayed three nights, one of the nights we stayed in and watched tv in the living room area. It was very cozy and inviting. Next time I go to Niagara Falls I'll be staying here :)

You won't find a more beautiful old, classy, dressed-to-the-nines B&B off the beaten track and in the beautiful Ontario countryside with reasonable rates, great food, and a host and hostess who couldn't be nicer. We visited for just one night, had our pick of rooms, and were graced with watching a music recital of local musicians (mostly younger kids) held downstairs. We've been to B&Bs in Canada and the US, and the Lalor Estate Inn is simply one of the nicest, classiest, best-priced establishments we've been lucky enough to find. If you want what a big city has to offer, it's not for you---but if you want a great old place in the beautiful countryside, this place couldn't be nicer.

I explained that we had been married there over 20 years before, and were excited to see it. The woman briskly told me that I could take pictures outside, and that was it. I asked if we could possibly just see the living room since that is where our ceremony took place, and she abruptly told us no. She advised us that there were new owners and that this was not a possibility. It was quite disappointing to know that the wonderful service we have received in the past would not be what would happen going forward. So extremely sad since the old owners were absolutely wonderful.
