Had a nice stay here. It's located just off of the Rainbow Bridge border crossing - super convenient. Check in was smooth and the receptionist was friendly and clear when explaining things. The room was nice and spacious. We opted for the room with two queen beds and a sofa bed. The room was clean and had a mini fridge. Facilities include a swimming pool and a 24 hour fitness centre. I'm not sure if this gets used too often because the wipes in the finess centre were dried out and it seems like people threw trash where the used towels were supposed to go. There is also breakfast which has a good selection of breads and bagels, cereal, hot foods (eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes etc.), fruits, juices, and more. Breakfast dining area is large. Cons: There is no parking onsite. You can park to unload your stuff and then move your car to the parking garage across the street. Hyatt parking is on level 3 and there are clear signs indicating so. They provided a QR code to scan at the garage for entry and exit. The hotel was very nice. It was clean and the complimentary breakfast was as expected. The two at the front desk we beyond helpful. Told us where to go and what to see. You have a perfect view of the nightly fireworks. A very short walk from the falls. The parking garage... now this is a different story. We felt like we were going to get mugged every time we went to it. It was old and dilapidated. Now with all of this said about this hotel, we will never be back to Niagara. Not on the US side at least. The tourist area was clean, but outside that, this is a very dirty and dangerous place. read more

Crossing Rainbow Bridge border was quick and easy. There were no lines during the week. Parking for Hyatt Place is across the street. It's horrible. The garage is old and sketchy. The elevator door slams shut. Pros: Right next to the Rainbow Bridge. Easy Walk to Niagara Park. You can see the mist from Niagara Falls. Close to Goat Island. The place looks new. Service is good with Christine and Ravi. Cons: Area around it including the parking garage is sketch, scary. Room was not clean properly. I was not greeted at check in. I was ignored by Jess. She got better later but seriously! Breakfast buffet is a standard Hyatt place breakfast. If you don't have status here they charge you 11.99!! I would not pay that. It is not worth it. Food was not great. I stayed at Hyatt Regency Fallsview the night before and wished I had stayed there another night. Avoid this place if you can. It was a great disappointment. Very convenient location for seeing the Canadian and American Niagara Falls! We were greeted by Reva in the lobby who checked on our check in early request. Fortunately, we were able to check in early (noon), dropping off our bags, then headed to an afternoon at Niagara on The Lake (40 minutes away). The team members in the hallway to our room were friendly and said hi and welcome! Nice touch! After our afternoon in Niagara on The Lake, we visited the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. We returned to our room at 8 pm. We were going to the pool, however, rowdy, unsupervised kids in the pool had us not go. We relaxed a bit in our room then went to the rooftop for the five minute lively fireworks. The hotel is really a good location. The bonus, was that parking was free and our breakfast was also,free as I'm a Hyatt member. The breakfast was fresh and they kept it refilled. Loved the berries with the yogurt. Also liked the boiled brown eggs! The lemon black tea was,also,very nice. Parking was across the street in the third floor of the parking garage. Only had to get the ticket validated upon return to our vehicle. They allowed in and out privilege too! I gave four stars as some of the hotel is dated and in need of refresh. If you stay on the American side this is the Hotel for you. Everything is within walking distance. Maid of mist (5 minutes walk), American Falls (5 minutes walk), goat island ( that doesn't have goats) 20 minutes walk but good thing they have a shuttle at park you can get wristband for $5. You want to watch fireworks from 6 floor to avoid crowds this is your place. One night we just set in our room and watched the show. But understand you cannot see the falls from your room 5 floor facing falls from this hotel during spring and summer the trees block view. The breakfast is the same every day with everything from pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage links, cereal, oatmeal, to bagels all for just $12. There are other breakfast places around with a short walk but it's a tourist town you will pay the price. If you want the casino it is only 10 minute up road walking. There are food choices most local spots close up around 4pm only Hard rock (which is beside hotel), and few food trucks, Chinese right beside hotel are open late. You want a pool they have a nice spot and a small weight room if you're into that while at the hotel. This is a Military friendly location Parking is in the parking garage across the street the front desk will validate for you daily. read more

Nice views, very poorly run hotel. We got Fallsview room and it is really cool to see the falls. Unfortunately, hotel is very poorly run with LOTS of issues. First, we requested and then were assured we had a room to see the fireworks... this was a blatant lie. Our room looked east / southeast but the fireworks are northeast and my kids didn't see anything. We would have picked a different spot if they hadn't lied to trick us into staying here. Note they do have rooms facing the fireworks, they just didn't give us one and per Josie in Guest Services, the front desk team cannot be expected to provide "accurate information" about the rooms. Other issues included the "newly renovated" room didn't have a functioning TV. We got No Signal. The elevators (like 4 for 40+ floors) take forever. They had a false alarm fire alarm associated with the construction so we had to walk down 37 floors. We ate breakfast at the Fallsview and the sun beats down on those tables making them 90 degrees and super uncomfortable. We finished our meal (sweating and kids waiting back in the lobby area to get out of the sun), but most tables near us requested a move or just got up and left. The view is awesome, but they just renovated and the space obviously needed some sort of window treatment to make it functional in the morning. Parking is a pain (you have to pay a lot extra to go park out in a lot in the ghetto or more to park onsite) and the tiny dropoff area is understandably chaotic (room for about a dozen vehicles at a time and at least twice that lined up trying to get in plus the parking shuttle, etc.). Overall, it would have been a below average airport Super 8 stay (random budget hotel), but especially bad considering it touts newly renovated and cost over $600 a night. read more

Memorial Day weekend 2026 our family stayed at this location . Staff was friendly but very talkative and always seemed to be shooting the breeze with coworkers, town merchants and some guests. A couple of the staff were dressed super casually like they didn't actually work there- kinda weird. The positives first: --Nice view of nightly fireworks over the falls. --Breakfast was overall done well --5 min walk /close proximity from the American falls and 10 min to Maid of the Mist --Front desk did help us get a taxi to go to the airport. The negatives: --Staff seemed to hang around the front desk chatting with each other while guests including us waited --Numerous calls to front desk went unanswered. ---The hotel did not change sheets or change bath towels unless asked, weird for a Hyatt. ---It took 4 visits walking down to the front desk to finally get somebody to make up the room! ---Bed sheets didn't smell that clean but they were not dirty at least --My wife's souvenir magnet disappeared after the staff cleaned our room. Can't say for sure it was them but Hmmm. --Rollaway bed /couch was not at all comfortable but it is what it is. If you only are staying one day/night to see the Falls then it would not be that bad If you plan on staying more than one day, recommend steering clear of this location. My recommendation to Hyatt: get new management to get the Hotel up to standards. read more

This Hyatt Place hotel has a convenient location right near the U.S. side of the Falls and the bridge to Canada. I booked the hotel for the location, but am happy to report it's not resting on those laurels. I had a first class stay at this Hyatt Place. I was checked-in by Angelo, who was helpful and friendly throughout my entire stay. He was the definition of first class service. I was very happy with my room, which had a window facing the falls that allowed me to see the fireworks every night. The Chromecast didn't work on the TV, but a quick visit with Angelo and someone was in my room fixing it as soon as I got back to the room. I slept well each night because the bed was very comfy. The hotel bar has friendly bartenders that make good drinks. There is a delicious free breakfast, with typical breakfast foods like eggs, bacon and french toast. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back any time I visit Niagara Falls. read more

Generally it's pretty good. The staff was friendly polite and helpful. but the room has some minor issues like shades are out of the rail. A piece of the furniture is rip a bit. The roof top open area has a bit of a view but not a view of the fall. If you feel like jumping off and ending it, it's quite easy to do... I mean if u lost all ur bucks at the casino, u could just dump. Ohhhh the tv color was completely off since they bought a cheap LG Also u gonna pay 10 bucks to park at the city run dumpy parki by lot but that's not the Hyatt fault. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I had hoped for a better experience at this Hyatt location. The hotel has seen its share of guests and it shows in the rooms. From the first several minutes I had to go down to the front desk and ask for the basics which included towels, washcloths and facial tissue. The workout room is one area we always use on our trips and unfortunately there was no wipes to wipe down the equipment after working out. Again, I had to go to the front desk and request for the wipes which they gave me. The last item was no bedding for the sofa bed in the room. Again I went downstairs because nobody was answering the phones at the front desk each time I tried to call. In fact there was as a-time I went down and nobody answered as at the desk and I had to wait . There was a person by the desk but she was on her phone with her headphones and come to find out when the maintenance person came out from a room he told her I was at the desk she finally realized I was there hut guess who showed up.. the front desk receptionist. The other thing was the shower head was bad! The faucet was practically hanging out of the wall. We also experienced smokers on our stay and even though there was nonsmoking in the hotel it somehow ended up not being enforced (this was allowed on the rooftop patio). I also asked for water but was told that i had to pay which at other Hyatt hotels I was given two bottles upon check in . Now let's start by what I found great at the hotel. The fireworks at 10 pm! That was about it. Unfortunately for the price we paid I could have found a better hotel you stay at. Too many disappointing things at this hotel. What I liked most about this hotel was the complimentary breakfast that's served every morning. There were a lot of options such as eggs, apple juice, orange juice, bacon, bananas, apples, waffles, etc. A couple of breakfast items would change up every day. I also liked going downstairs to the bar area in the evening. I ordered a glass of wine and it was tasty. The location of the hotel is amazing! It's close to the Niagara Falls State Park as well as other restaurants and shops nearby. Finally, the room was cozy and comfortable. I loved the views from the window. Just a very okay Hyatt. The main thing that's going for it is that it's only a few minutes walking distance away from the Niagara Falls State Park main entrance (don't even need to cross any traffic light crosswalks). Ground floor seems to have been renovated as the room itself looked a bit dated. One of the lamps made a strange buzzing sound when turned on so had to keep that particular one turned off. Bathroom hand soap wasn't provided upon arrival in the room. Biggest gripe was the walls being weakly soundproof (not great especially for such a touristy hotel lol.....also this hotel is apparently pet-friendly as I heard loud barking that didn't sound muffled at all from my room). Pretty clean place though. Front desk staff was friendly but I had to ask for my World of Hyatt member perks myself (front desk staff at most of the other Hyatts that I've been to readily offer them). Overall not a bad Hyatt (or hotel in general) to stay at if you're not specifically looking for something fancy shmancy but that's very close to Niagara Falls State Park. read more

I'm a huge Hyatt fan and that is generally my brand of choice, but this one was really disappointing. I was "upgraded" according to the app, but we had to move out of the first room because of the hard lumps on the bed. I was glad to be assigned a new room. Our new room had stains on the carpet and what looked like black mold on the wall behind the bathroom's sliding door. The furniture showed a lot of wear and was torn. The lighting was poor throughout the room, even with every light turned on. This place has definitely seen better days. The worst part of the stay was that there isn't a parking garage attached and there is no valet, so you have to self park in a very gross, terrifying garage at the corner. Hyatt parking is on the third floor. The elevator in the garage is filthy and smells like urine but is still better than the stairs. The stairwell is littered with dead birds and the smell is indescribable. To be fair, this isn't just Hyatt's parking garage; however, I would have paid anything for valet service to be able to avoid it. The best part of staying here is definitely the location. It's a quick walk to rainbow bridge which is perfect for watching the evening fireworks. The lobby and eating areas are bright and open. There is a rooftop space, but I didn't go up to see it. The coffee was good, too. If they updated this hotel and added valet, it would be great. Until then, I hear staying on the Canada side may be better. read more

While this place doesn't sink to the level of awful, the experience of staying here has definitely convinced me not to come back. First, they don't use water softener, so you're left with the feeling of not being able to rinse off the soap. So you never feel clean after washing your hands or showering. The quality of the staff is hit and miss, which I suppose could be true of many places. But some of the young people working here seem to lack basic people skills. While others were delightful. The free breakfast was ok, but one of the staff snapped at wife just for asking a simple question. And apparently the new standard is to not provide maid service. I was able to get towels and toiletries. They want you to come back and to pretend the pandemic is over, but they don't act like it. And to top it off, calling the front desk gets you . . . nothing. No answer on multiple attempts. I guess I'll try one of the hotels on the Canadian side next year. read more

Highest tier hotel closest to falls , the other hotel is 2-star is closer but not like this Hyatt. This hotel uses the large city parking structure that has ample parking ($15) and not to worry it's very close and across the street. Critical of any free breakfast however each day has been B+! No need to go else where but there is 2 sandwich stores around the corner open 9am early. The driveway is small, crowded, impacted with guests so have someone ready to jump out to checkin. During this post it can be said staff is short but they are certainly trying and professional . Try the Indian food trailer 1 block away. Laundry 3rd floor but only 1 set of machine. $1 wash $4 dry. Extended Weekend Getaway! We loved our stay at the Hyatt. It was great for what we needed. It was close to not only the Falls, Canada but, also local eateries. We tried the H.R. place and our waiter Mike was cool but, it wasn't New York food. It was eating at a chain and I could do this at home. We did enjoy the breakfast that the hotel provided, breads, meats, eggs, cereals and more. We noticed that some people were complaining about their rooms. Sorry, I'm not the health dept so, I'm not looking around to find minor problems in a hotel room and I could find the same problems in my own room at home. Our iron wasn't working Clara & her coworkers quickly solved that problem. I needed an extra wash rag. Hello, Ms. Clara and we were golden. Now, you will have to park across the street in a parking garage which was a lil worn but, we parked on the 3rd level and could clearly see our car from our room. The front desk works were nice and polite and had no problem in telling you about local spots to eat, where to go and where not to. Sorry, don't have any pics of the room but, it looks like this. Walk in the door, close the door and to your left was the bathroom with a soft closing pocket door. Full glass shower with foot rest, sink with ample counter space, toilet! Come out of the bathroom and turn left again. Your in your studio living room with couch that has a hidden bed (didn't pull out). Desk with small fridge concealed in furniture, desk, flatscreen, lamps and a screen that divides the living room from your studio bedroom . Nice size king bed with built in night stands, full size closet with huge mirror (didn't really care if I saw the falls or not, we were out there all day everyday OFF SEASON). *That bed was plush, not lumpy and worn*! One of my worse experiences at a hotel. I love the Hyatt chain, so I am unsure as to why this one does not run at the tier of the others. I was not allowed to check in early. After waiting around all day, the first available room was offered to another customer who came in AFTER me. Same type of room. Breakfast was disgusting and not well maintained. They have sheets as "blankets". I had to request extra in order to at least be somewhat warm. Leaky ice machine, not acceptable for a new hotel. I'll be sending an email with further details to their corporate office. Do yourself a favor and find another hotel chain that is worth the amount of money for staying on their property. read more

Disappointing Experience at Hyatt Hotel Niagara Falls - Poor Hygiene and Inadequate Facilities Dec 2023 My recent stay at the Hyatt Hotel in Niagara Falls was regrettably far below expectations, compelling me to give it a poor rating. Multiple issues, ranging from cleanliness to basic amenities, marred my experience. A significant concern was the malfunctioning heating system. Despite being left on for an extended period, it failed to adequately heat the room. Worse, it occasionally emitted a strange gas smell, which was both concerning and uncomfortable. Cleanliness standards were shockingly low. The bed sheets and pillows were found with hair, leading me to doubt they were changed post the previous guest's stay. This lack of hygiene extended to the bathroom, where the sink was coated with soap scum and hair, a clear sign of inadequate cleaning. Communication with hotel staff added to the frustration. Despite the Hyatt app offering a texting feature for convenience, texts regarding these issues went unanswered, resorting to phone calls for response. When requesting housekeeping to change the soiled bedding, I was merely provided with covers to change the sheets myself, a task not expected of guests in a hotel of this caliber. Additionally, the beds were uncomfortable, further diminishing the quality of my stay. While the hotel's proximity to Niagara Falls is a plus, it does little to offset these glaring shortcomings. Given these experiences, I advise potential guests to reconsider staying at this Hyatt location, as the overall quality was lacking. Update: breakfast is a plus and people maintaining and servicing the breakfast buffet were very professional, respectful, and helpful. Heat finally worked during our second stay night so was able to sleep better. read more

Building still looks new but maybe be few more years or even months will deteriorate because of lack of supervision or staff selection. Fire people who are damaging the building. Elevators are nice but dirty. Dining room chairs were still on top of the tables while breakfast is open. We were the one who took them down and after that, the tables are dirty. Corned beef hash so salty. Scramble eggs too bland. Juices tasted acidic maybe expired. French toast dry. Hotel design is nice inside and out but again no maintenance and dirty. Receptionists did their jobs but no additional service such as advice around the area. The highlight is the bed. Bedsheets are not newly washed maybe not changed, fully wrinkled and not properly handled. The staff is either no knowledgeable or just dont want to work. Cabinets are damaged. Tile grouts and sealant damaged. Clogged sink. Too bad for us we trusted this company and paid higher than other hotels but we failed to make the right choice. read more

The parking is across the street it's a shared public garage Hyatt guests park on the 3rd floor. This hotel is close to Hard Rock Cafe restaurant and other food options. Great walking distance to Niagara Falls. Our room was on the 4th floor we had no issues with worn furniture, rude staff,or our bed and linens. Can't go against what's already been said about this hotel. It's as middle of the road as you can get. The pros, location, location, location. If you are staying in Niagara for a couple days, it makes a big difference when you can just walk outside the hotel's sliding doors and into Niagara park. It took us 5 minutes to get to Maid of the Mist (I highly recommend you do this... best part of our trip by far), 15 minutes walk to Goat island and food trucks line the streets next to the hotel. Their rooms are spacious and have a flexible layout. For a family of four, there was more than enough room for us to spread out in the room. We got the two queen beds. The lobby and eating areas were comfortable and clean. I'm a clean freak and I appreciated the effort it took to get the common areas clean. Even during their free breakfast service, tables and floors were kept clean. They have a outdoor deck and lounge on the 6th floor. It was the perfect place to take in the nightly 10pm fireworks show. Get there at least 15 before the show to get a seat. I don't have many cons, the rooms, specifically the bathroom seemed old. It felt like it was updated in the last 5 years but the workmanship wasn't great so the wear and tear was more evident. For example, the bathroom vanity was made from plywood and parts of it was breaking down because of water. Minor details that can be overlooked by the normal vacationer. Then there's the parking... it felt like leaving our rent a car in a totally separate world. The parking garage is across the street and is a shared garage with the park. It felt abandoned and rundown. The elevators were disgusting and smelled like urine. We had to park in the designated area on the 3rd floor... which meant riding the elevator for 3 floors. I really didn't want to touch anything in the elevator. I was worried about the car but we didn't have any problems with break ins. All in all, it's a good place to stay as a family. Since we were so close to everything, we only had to deal with that parking garage twice, when we got there and when we left. Yelp Review We got in past 2:00am on 9/23/19 Christine at the the front desk greeted us. We were very hungry and everything was shut down but Christine offered to make us individual pizza to make sure we didn't go to sleep hungry. She was very accommodating. The room was nice, clean and comfortable and the black out shade in the room was very helpful to allow us to get the much needed sleep in the morning. My second time visiting and I did say I would be back with my kids. My kids loved it here. They loved the breakfast and the pool and the comfort and quietness of the hotel. My daughter drew a picture of her view from our hotel room. Room was clean and large. We did the king bed and there was a sectional. The bathroom was clean and nice. We stayed for 4 days. The breakfast options were great and we ate downstairs every morning and the changed up the options each day to add a little variety. The bartender was great she baked cookies and made great drinks....after her shift was over she still took care of us. Let me start with I normally LOVE staying at Hyatt properties. This was by far the worst Hyatt we have stayed at. Upon pulling up, we were told they have no parking. To park, you have to park across the street. It is a short walk, but the stairs and elevator are not well kept. Only one elevator worked out of three, and it stunk like urine with trash in it. And, this one elevator only worked for some, not all floors. The stairwell had broken cement stairs and had trash all over the place as well. We did mobile check in, which was easy and our room was ready when we got there. We were at the end of a hallway, so it was quiet. Our room however had a musty, old cigarette smell - which to me was gross but we were so anxious to beat the rain and see the falls, we dropped our bags and left. Upon coming back, we noticed that the toilet and shower were dirty. Not to the point of calling the front desk to complain, but definitely not up to normal Hyatt standards. Our bed did not have a thicker blanket on it, so we were cold most of the night. The hallway to our room looked like it was never vacuumed and someone left a piece of gummy candy on the top of utility box - which stayed there the entire length of our stay. I realize they aren't having housekeeping cleaning the rooms like they normally do - but the hallways should be clean. We ate dinner at the hotel twice as there was not much open in town. The menu was extremely limited. The first night I ordered a salad, which came with wilted lettuce and they only had two options for dressing - Italian and ranch. The rest of our food was OK, but they did take 1/2 off the entire bill as it took over an hour to get our food. The tables in the restaurant were disgusting - and likely due to them having one girl as the bartender and waitstaff. The entire place was full. She should have had help! We went down for breakfast in the morning thinking they were giving bagged breakfasts due to Covid. But, they had the buffet. You had to wear gloves to go in. There was very limited options. We opted for pancakes one day and the next day waffles. Both days, the food was cold and our waffles came with hair. Disgusting! We decided to use the pool one night to relax since it was raining out. The pool was by far the worst part. Booked a room 03/11/22 for our anniversary in June. When we booked it, we asked for a view of Niagara Falls which the Assistant GM Nick told us he could fulfill. Attached is our view. When we arrived went downstairs to address this. We were told there were no rooms left but upon next day check outs we could be moved. Next day arrived and told there are no rooms by GIgi, some smart a$$ at the front desk who had no idea about our previous conversations but thought she did. We asked to speak to a supervisor and got Nick, the Assistant GM. Nick did not acknowledge our issue, interrupted each time we tried to speak, argued about facts of conversations he was not involved in and was extremely rude and totally unprofessional. Not hard to see why the rest of the staff at this property is the same. The Hyatt name used to mean something, that was years ago and evidently not true any longer. If the Hyatt is going to have a bunch of teenagers and 20 something's run their business, some funds need to be invested in customer service trainings and management/supervisory skill trainings to assure these kids know how to deal with adults and the public in general. We have been in a management role in the industry for over 35 years and have never been treated and would never treat someone so poorly. Further, we were ignored in getting a response from the executive management from the property or anyone at corporate beyond the phone call we made to voice our concerns on day 2 of our stay. Hint: we spent time on the Canadian side as well. Services, staff and overall atmosphere in general far exceeds the US side, don't waste your money at this 2 star at best hotel. There are properties on the Canadian side, Sheraton, Hilton, Embassy Suites, Marriott that know what service is, spend the money and stay on the Canadian side! If we ever return we will for sure and we will let everyone know the same and about our totally underwhelming experience, lack of services, amenities, poorly trained, mismanaged staff and ill- equipped supervisory staff attempting to operate Hyatt Place Niagara Falls. By far the worst experience we have had with a hotel and it's management all the way to the top of the chain whether we were traveling for our 21 years of vacation travel together or many, many business/corporate trips we both attended. read more

I believe this is the first time i am staying at a Hyatt and i enjoyed my stay. At arrival the front desk workers were friendly and assisted us with the checkin. Due to Covid everyone has to wear masks when in the lobby or walking around the hallways which i like because safety comes first. The hotel does have a bar in the main lobby where you can also order food. I got to try the chicken sandwich and wings. I liked the wings and the taste of the chicken sandwich but one thing i didn't like was how the chicken sandwich was in a burger bun. That was rare. However, the location of this hotel is just absolutely perfect. It is literally 4 minute walking from the Niagara Falls and i believe it is kind of insane the State park. If you are looking for a place to stay i recommend this hotel as they also have free complementary breakfast from 8am-10am. read more

I recommend this hotel if you want a comfy room with an excellent view of Canada. It's a 10 minute stroll to the falls. $15 self parking. Happy hour is from 6 to 7pm $5 wine and $4 beer. Fantastic staff, fantastic view and an adorable patio. Walking distance from everything, literally 10 mins from the falls and souvenirs/ food trucks right out the door! We had 2 dogs along with us which of course came with a fee but everyone was so friendly to them. A few grassy spots outside for the dogs to pee, a few more than I thought for being in the heart of the city. The parking across the street is normally $30 per day but they gave us a discount of $15 per day because we stayed with them (so remember you will need to pay parking). Free wifi and an amazing view looking out at Canada. See picture attached for our view! Had a bar on the main floor and access to the rooftop patio 24/7 (note there is NO bar on the roof). read more

AWAY STAY AWAY Oh my god! Where shall I begin? This trip was a nightmare because of this hotel! I booked this hotel thinking it was the best in Niagara Falls! It definitely was not worth the money or the headache! We drove from 9-10 hours away after a long flight from California. We are very polite and patient people. We are a military family so we always talk to people with respect and manners, well the staff at hyatt is absolutely baffling! First, we checked in and the girl was VERY nice (Ravie) but then everything went downhill from there. We got into our room and we had a child with us as well. My husband and I were changing and a whole different family just walked right into our room!!!! While I was naked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Their room key and room was assigned the same room number as us! I immediately called the front desk and told them: they didn't care and told me to hold on a moment, I was on hold for 10 minutes and they eventually hung up!!!! No one called back to apologize or explain what happened. Again, I was traumatized. We go downstairs to kindly ask what hapoened and their EXACT response was "oh there was a glitch in the system, it's fixed and we rechecked you in so you're good." Like what? They did not care, they did not apologize. We didn't make it a big deal and said okay well "no one has access to our room anymore either and we are safe right and everything works?" And the lady replied "yes have a good day." I was not asked for my ID or credit card in check in which I thought was also VEEY odd? We had a very long day and when we got back at 7:45 pm at night, we could not get into our room. Neither room key was working and at this point I'm very frustrated. We go downstairs to get a new room key and no one is there, there are two ladies at the bar but no one at the front desk. So we wait, A lady named Harmony walked over and asked what we needed in a very rude way, I tell her exactly this: "Hi, ma'am I'm a little frustrated because someone walked into our room this morning while I was changing and they said everything was fixed and now I can't get into our room" she then just tried to cut me off repeatedly by saying "uh uh" and laughed about 3-5 times. I stayed quiet for a second but then she YELLED across the whole hotel to the bar where there were MANY guests and yelled at a coworker "they were locked out of their room, hahahahahaha" and she was going to continue to tell her the story or ask for help but then I asked "what's so funny??" The EMPLOYEE HARMONY the CUSSED AT ME!!!!!!!!! She said "notbing is Fu***** funny and you better not talk to me and you're fu****** tripping" and she started going off on me. And I was in disbelief and SHOCK! And so was my husband!!!!!!!! She walks away YELLLLING IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE BAR telling her coworker "OOOOH YOU BETTER GET THIS GIRL BEFORE I......" and then she walked over and threw a rag and made a scene. The OTHER coworker came over and immediately started apologizing because she heard everything and knew it was nasty and crazy! I told her not to apologize it's not her who did it but vote unacceptable. The manger came over and immediately just thought that if she told us she's comping our room that everything was fine! I told her I don't want their free room and couldn't believe that they let employees talk to customers like that and how they act. Harmony was still at the bar with a bad attitude throwing things around and saying things under her breath! I couldn't believe they even had the nerve to tell me that drinks are on them at the bar when they know that the same girl harmony is the bartender, I think they all think it was a joke, We were genuinely scared for our safety throughout the night, they didn't care. Booked this hotel because the location was optimum for visiting the area and Niagara Falls. You basically walk downstairs and you're almost already at the falls so it was great for the family. The breakfast was surprisingly GREAT and fresh The selection was good and the hot foods were good. The only downside is parking is limited so you'll need to figure out your parking planning but otherwise the hotel is a great location with a good breakfast. I would have like the rooms to be a bit bigger and in some ways not as clean as I would prefer. Overall, grab this hotel if you're looking for a great location to visit the falls and you want a good breakfast. read more

Location - 4 + Right next to Niagara Falls State Park. + immediate surrounding (within 1/2 mile) are ok. - beyond a 1/2 mile is very rundown. We were warned by hotel staff that going beyond the immediate area wasn't recommended. +our room (handicapped accessable) was large and quite well appointed (with one significant exception) - Shower. - Good - there is one. - Bad - fixed shower head w/ very limited adjustment. Can't provide much water to the fixed bench. We moved the shower head as much as it could accommodate but ended up using a Styrofoam cup to rinse off. As most handicap rooms offer a wand in the shower, it surprises me that a brand hotel like Hyatt would have such a poorly thought out handicap unready shower. I would warn all but very mildly handicapped visitors to look elsewhere. I also considered this a dangerous configuration needing immediate rearrangment hopefully with consultation from someone that understands what constitutes an effective set up. + staff (particularly Stephanie (sp?)) were very friendly and helpful - onsite parking spots are very limited. Parking garage available across the street. - one check in staff member removed the cone that Stephanie used to protect our handicap parking spot. When my wife asked him what happened he was dismissive told her to find other parking. When we stay in the area again we'll most likely stay elsewhere. - read more
