This Hyatt Place hotel has a convenient location right near the U.S. side of the Falls and the bridge to Canada. I booked the hotel for the location, but am happy to report it's not resting on those laurels. I had a first class stay at this Hyatt Place. I was checked-in by Angelo, who was helpful and friendly throughout my entire stay. He was the definition of first class service. I was very happy with my room, which had a window facing the falls that allowed me to see the fireworks every night. The Chromecast didn't work on the TV, but a quick visit with Angelo and someone was in my room fixing it as soon as I got back to the room. I slept well each night because the bed was very comfy. The hotel bar has friendly bartenders that make good drinks. There is a delicious free breakfast, with typical breakfast foods like eggs, bacon and french toast. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back any time I visit Niagara Falls.

Generally it's pretty good. The staff was friendly polite and helpful. but the room has some minor issues like shades are out of the rail. A piece of the furniture is rip a bit. The roof top open area has a bit of a view but not a view of the fall. If you feel like jumping off and ending it, it's quite easy to do... I mean if u lost all ur bucks at the casino, u could just dump. Ohhhh the tv color was completely off since they bought a cheap LG Also u gonna pay 10 bucks to park at the city run dumpy parki by lot but that's not the Hyatt fault.

If I could give zero stars I would. I had hoped for a better experience at this Hyatt location. The hotel has seen its share of guests and it shows in the rooms. From the first several minutes I had to go down to the front desk and ask for the basics which included towels, washcloths and facial tissue. The workout room is one area we always use on our trips and unfortunately there was no wipes to wipe down the equipment after working out. Again, I had to go to the front desk and request for the wipes which they gave me. The last item was no bedding for the sofa bed in the room. Again I went downstairs because nobody was answering the phones at the front desk each time I tried to call. In fact there was as a-time I went down and nobody answered as at the desk and I had to wait . There was a person by the desk but she was on her phone with her headphones and come to find out when the maintenance person came out from a room he told her I was at the desk she finally realized I was there hut guess who showed up.. the front desk receptionist. The other thing was the shower head was bad! The faucet was practically hanging out of the wall. We also experienced smokers on our stay and even though there was nonsmoking in the hotel it somehow ended up not being enforced (this was allowed on the rooftop patio). I also asked for water but was told that i had to pay which at other Hyatt hotels I was given two bottles upon check in . Now let's start by what I found great at the hotel. The fireworks at 10 pm! That was about it. Unfortunately for the price we paid I could have found a better hotel you stay at. Too many disappointing things at this hotel. Overall it's probably best to stay at a hotel on the outskirts of Niagara Falls.

What I liked most about this hotel was the complimentary breakfast that's served every morning. There were a lot of options such as eggs, apple juice, orange juice, bacon, bananas, apples, waffles, etc. A couple of breakfast items would change up every day. I also liked going downstairs to the bar area in the evening. I ordered a glass of wine and it was tasty. The location of the hotel is amazing! It's close to the Niagara Falls State Park as well as other restaurants and shops nearby. Finally, the room was cozy and comfortable. I loved the views from the window. I recommend staying here!

I'm a huge Hyatt fan and that is generally my brand of choice, but this one was really disappointing. I was "upgraded" according to the app, but we had to move out of the first room because of the hard lumps on the bed. I was glad to be assigned a new room. Our new room had stains on the carpet and what looked like black mold on the wall behind the bathroom's sliding door. The furniture showed a lot of wear and was torn. The lighting was poor throughout the room, even with every light turned on. This place has definitely seen better days. The worst part of the stay was that there isn't a parking garage attached and there is no valet, so you have to self park in a very gross, terrifying garage at the corner. Hyatt parking is on the third floor. The elevator in the garage is filthy and smells like urine but is still better than the stairs. The stairwell is littered with dead birds and the smell is indescribable. To be fair, this isn't just Hyatt's parking garage; however, I would have paid anything for valet service to be able to avoid it. The best part of staying here is definitely the location. It's a quick walk to rainbow bridge which is perfect for watching the evening fireworks. The lobby and eating areas are bright and open. There is a rooftop space, but I didn't go up to see it. The coffee was good, too. If they updated this hotel and added valet, it would be great. Until then, I hear staying on the Canada side may be better.

Finalized this as it is 5 minute walk to Niagara falls state park. Check-In/check out process was smooth. The place is clean and well maintained and patio on 6th floor gives a bit of view which is cool. Pros: ------- 5- minute walk to Mist of Maid/Niagara state falls park Good Wifi Bar in the lobby 24/7 space for Water/pop/small bites Food court in opposite building Seneca casino is 5 minute walk Parking is in opposite garage 6 floor open patio Lots of Food carts in the parallel street Breakfast is Good Cons: ------ No microwave

While this place doesn't sink to the level of awful, the experience of staying here has definitely convinced me not to come back. First, they don't use water softener, so you're left with the feeling of not being able to rinse off the soap. So you never feel clean after washing your hands or showering. The quality of the staff is hit and miss, which I suppose could be true of many places. But some of the young people working here seem to lack basic people skills. While others were delightful. The free breakfast was ok, but one of the staff snapped at wife just for asking a simple question. And apparently the new standard is to not provide maid service. I was able to get towels and toiletries. They want you to come back and to pretend the pandemic is over, but they don't act like it. And to top it off, calling the front desk gets you . . . nothing. No answer on multiple attempts. I guess I'll try one of the hotels on the Canadian side next year.

Highest tier hotel closest to falls , the other hotel is 2-star is closer but not like this Hyatt. This hotel uses the large city parking structure that has ample parking ($15) and not to worry it's very close and across the street. Critical of any free breakfast however each day has been B+! No need to go else where but there is 2 sandwich stores around the corner open 9am early. The driveway is small, crowded, impacted with guests so have someone ready to jump out to checkin. During this post it can be said staff is short but they are certainly trying and professional . Try the Indian food trailer 1 block away. Laundry 3rd floor but only 1 set of machine. $1 wash $4 dry. Bottled water $3. Thanks Hyatt staff for working hard during short labor.

    Leaky ice machine
    T L.

One of my worse experiences at a hotel. I love the Hyatt chain, so I am unsure as to why this one does not run at the tier of the others. I was not allowed to check in early. After waiting around all day, the first available room was offered to another customer who came in AFTER me. Same type of room. Breakfast was disgusting and not well maintained. They have sheets as "blankets". I had to request extra in order to at least be somewhat warm. Leaky ice machine, not acceptable for a new hotel. I'll be sending an email with further details to their corporate office. Do yourself a favor and find another hotel chain that is worth the amount of money for staying on their property.

This was my first time on the US side of the falls. We couldn't ask for a better location but most of the hotels are nearby because this tourist area is not that big. We loved our two rooms we booked and the hotel has a contract with the multi story parking lot across the street. The room was comfortable and we slept like a baby in the comfy bed.

This place was ok. Breakfast was good. The front desk person was not friendly. She was upset about her cell phone. But the rest of the staff was nice. Room was decent. Parking across the street was sketchy. Nice view.

Cleanliness 5 stars No towels at all, when we call frontdesk they said they r ran out of the towels, it's kind of weird. Great location. 5 mins walk to the falls and Niagara Falls state park. There is a roof bar , netting room. Bar in the lobby. I love it service of the frontdesk is a 4 stars nice;) new hotel I would recommend it overall ;)

This hotel is located just off of the I-190, behind the movie theater and Home Depot plaza. It seems to be a newer'ish build. One issue with the lobby, for me anyway--IT STINKS. LIKE VANILLA CUPCAKE PERFUME IS PUNCHING YOU IN THE FACE. REPEATEDLY. Most people probably enjoy this aroma, but for someone who is sensitive to fragrance, I got out of the lobby as fast as I could, and was glad I brought my migraine medicine just in case. I would recommend toning down the vanilla smell, some, sure, but this was WAY too much. We had a King standard suite. It was oddly a MASSIVE room! There was TONS of space, so much so they should really add a small table and couple chairs to the room, as it could easily fit it. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure. The room also had a fridge and microwave, all clean and in working order. The hotel has a small indoor saltwater heated pool. The pool stays open until 11pm. That was nice as many hotels close up pools too early. We went down late Saturday and had the pool to ourselves for an evening swim. It was nicely warm and pleasantly quiet. One thing that wasn't quiet though--the rest of the hotel. One issue is the walls of our room were too thin. There was a youth hockey team dominating the hotel this weekend. Yes, they were loud, but even so the walls didn't seem to buffer much of anything. And these families could care less about any other guests, as they let hoards of kids rampage up and down the halls all hours of the day and night, and the room's closed door let a lot of noise in that way too. We have kids, I get they are loud, but never in a million years in all of our travels did we or would we ever let them just screaming-storm the halls. AND we even saw some adult men, either dads or coaches, wrestling with kids and banging on the walls in the hallways. Some moments of this? Fine. But hours on end? Very poor parenting IMHO, but I digress. Just a warning that if you stay here they seem to accommodate sports team families, and if they are rowdy, you will hear it. Had it not been for them, and the pungent-vanilla-chemical-fragrance smell in the lobby, our stay would have been entirely enjoyable. But due to the ruckus, I am docking a star for too thin walls and the staff didn't seem to care about the chaos throughout the whole hotel that weekend. But if we get another good deal for a future weekend getaway, I would roll the dice and stay here again.

But be forewarned: there are two Marriott-branded hotels located almost next door to each other another -- the other is directly across the street. I saw one couple confused about their booking. They were at the wrong hotel. It appears the the hotel most people are seeking when they book the "best view" is usually the Niagara Falls Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa at 6740 Fallsview Boulevard. The nearby Niagara Falls Marriott on the Falls at 6755 Fallsview Boulevard is a separate property. I was very pleased with the Fallsview Hotel. Unlike many hotels that advertise a falls view but have only a partial glimpse, the hotel's location provides a sweeping panorama of the falls. Most rooms seem to have a falls view. Higher-floor rooms offer an almost cinematic perspective, especially during the nightly illumination show and when fireworks are scheduled (nightly at 10 p.m. after May -- those poor gulls and their babies!). The facilities are extensive. The hotel features the recently renovated Burning Springs Spa and Thermal Pools, a fitness center, indoor pool that is sadly less that 5 feet at the deepest point, direct access to the Fallsview tourist district and convenient connections to nearby attractions. But spa access is not included in the stay-- such a disappointment. Generally, the property feels more like a destination than a standard convention hotel, with many public spaces oriented toward the falls. That includes and onsite Starbucks and Mortons steakhouse, plus a gift shop with a massive assortment of items: clothing, hats, bathing suits and goggles (even for the kids), maple syrup treats, medicine and beverages, etc. The biggest surprise for many guests is parking. Valet parking is convenient but expensive, currently around $80 per day, while self-parking is approximately $50-60 per day and located off-site rather than directly beneath the hotel. Valet service may be worthwhile because the self-parking lot requires about a 5-minute walk and the hotel arrival area can become crowded during peak times Overall, the staff was great -- they even sent up a red velvet cake for our anniversary! And the king suite (23rd floor) was sizable and comfortable, with a jet spa in the room looking directly toward the falls. The bed and pillows were also comfy. They also have two seats right in front of the windows with spectacular views. But there were so many bugs -- dozens and dozens gathered on the exterior glass -- after dark, we opted to keep the lights off. Not a concern, though. I would definitely stay here again.

Upon arrival and departure there was one person. The carpet area in lobby and rooms need shampooing badly. Rooms have beautiful views on upper levels , but outdated. The front desk service was mixed; one staff member was excellent, but another rushed me, which is not acceptable when guests are paying their money. The spa charges an additional fee to use Oasis pools/ Jacuzzi; which is unusual for most spas, since they typically include it with the massage services. This additional fee still feels like a drawback. FYI -There are not actually pools in the spa area just jacuzzi and cold plunge, sauna etc. While the pool staff was great, with Kevin standing out, and Beth at the spa being exceptional the pool area is outdated. The ceiling is peeling and looks like a YMCA pool area. In addition , my massage at spa was okay. But no timer was used to ensure guest are receiving their full time paid for. I know I did not receive full time. All spas I have visited , use a timer to make sure you get your full time.

We spent one night here - Boyfriend booked the room this time, and I had no idea he had selected a…read moresuite with jacuzzi, which was a nice surprise! Beautiful view from our suite. I've never smoked, so I notice cigarette smells easily, and wasn't bothered by it in our room. It *did* reek of cigarette in the lobby and around the casino however. Unpleasant. The bathroom was amazing with a large shower. Very spacious. Room key was needed to access the elevator and your floor, which was great (*cough* The canadian side Doubletree needs this right now *cough*) The US side of Niagara Falls is super sketchy and just for that I wouldn't be in a hurry to return - I also have no interest in casinos so there's not much for me to do here. Staff was polite. Overall I would stay here if I was on that side of the border.

From a hotel perspective, Seneca Niagara has the potential of being a five star destination. This…read moreis our third time staying at this hotel, and things have certainly gotten better since they first opened, but they have not yet achieved the excellence that I expected. The physical structure is very well designed. The hallways and rooms are magnificent. Heavy doors, cash safe in the room, adequate closet space, tastefully decorated with a Native American theme that pays homage to the elements of nature. The building materials used are such that you don't hear noise from adjacent rooms. There is plenty of parking and an inexpensive valet service if you don't care to look for your own space. The front desk staff are well trained and helpful and efficient. Their WiFi is fast with sufficient bandwidth that I was able to get some work done, sending and receiving large files without a problem. The rooms are nicely climate controlled, the shower is spacious with immediate hot water and the pressure is very good. The bed is comfortable, with good quality linens and blankets and firm mattresses. The housekeeping staff are thorough. The elevators move efficiently. They have tight security throughout the premises. All of the above is what they do right. I tried for two days to book a foot massage at the spa. No one answers that extension, so I'm not even sure if their spa has anyone assigned to answer the phones. The front desk - which also doesn't answer their phones so I had to physically go to the lobby - told me to just keep trying which I did without success. One of the reasons we booked at this hotel was because the website talks about their massages. Disappointing. There was no working electrical outlet next to the bed. The outlet that was part of the working lamp was dead. I had to pull my mattress away from the wall to find a working wall socket. There are electrical outlets over by the desk. The restaurants associated with this hotel are just fine. Three Sisters in the lobby has a very nice Buffet breakfast with excellent sausage. Everything else on that buffet is more than adequate. The wait staff do their best to keep your coffee cups filled and to bring you your check and even if things take a little longer than one would expect, we have no complaints about Three Sisters. The Western Door is a wonderful restaurant and we come here frequently and independently of the casino or the hotel for fine meals and properly mixed drinks. There are many little things that this beautiful hotel could do and should do to earn a fourth or fifth star, but perhaps their occupancy rate satisfies their balance sheet so they have no motivation to bring it to the next level.
