After reading so many reviews about Milner's Gate, I was curious. First of all, the staff member that greeted us was very kind and welcoming. Then, we got our server, Mari! She took exceptional care of us. We ordered the smoked brisket with mushrooms and onions pizza. While I know it was of high quality, I wasn't expecting bbq sauce. When Mari heard that I wasn't a bbq sauce girl and was just going to order a salad, she made sure that I was not charged. Not only that, the beers were very good. Our waitress was nice and the manager made an honest attempt to fix an issue with our appetizer (our waitress forgot to bring the dip that came with the chips). The food just wasn't good though. The meat on my wife's French dip sandwich was bone dry and just smothered in aoli and the breading on our Buffalo cauliflower was super soggy. Wedge salad was fine but I mean... it's a salad. You can't really screw up a salad. The highlight was the pub chips with the garlic dip. Honestly, I might come back and just get those because they were pretty damn good. The only kind of complaint about the pub chips (though not really a serious complaint) was that there was a random lettuce wedge garnish that the dip bowl was rested on that honestly just seemed like a waste of lettuce. That's about it though... one of two appetizers were good and a salad was good. I had high hopes for this place as we had it recommended highly but it was honestly just not good. read more

Look no further, this is where you'll find great eats, tasty beer , and friendly service. We ordered a Brewery Burger and a Smoked Brisket Melt, to go. Both were very delicious. Way better than your average pub fair, I know because they didnt scrimp on ingredients. Lots of grilled onion, perfect amount of sauce, and cooked to perfection. We were encouraged to wait outside on the patio where their tables were spaced more than 6ft apart while we waited for our lunch. Which wasn't a very long wait at all. The visit to Milners Gate was a highlight in our distancing adventure today. read more

Definitely a disappointment. Wanted to try the new place downtown. The food was definitely not made fresh to order. It seemed like they had baskets of stuff in the back and were just throwing it on plates and bringing it out. We got it almost immediately, but it was not hot, and definitely felt like it had been sitting out a while. The service was pretty perfunctory too. With such great options downtown, like Slice, Sandwich Co, and even Twin Beans, I don't think I'll ever come back here. I'd definitely pick Koto over Milners ten times out of ten if I was looking for a brewpub downtown. read more

Milners has everything you need for a great evening. The bar is incredible, the food is great and the beer we have sampled is phenomenally done! The staff has been amazing and friendly. Great place for an intimate date night or to go out with friends for a good time. We have taken friends from out of town down there and will continue to do so. Twin Falls has needed a place like Milners Gate for a while. Looking forward to the patio being open this summer. Definitely will not disappoint. read more

I will give 1 Star review ... just to be polite. The interior is beautifully designed, wait staff friendly. That's as far as this review will be positive. Was our 1st visit, will be our last & No recommendations!! We were told different "Happy Hour" prices by 3 different wait staff. We started off with Martini's. Each of we 3 were poured different oz in our glass'. Mine was significantly less. I did not complain... we ordered Oyster shooters, which the Oysters were huge in a shot glass with No cocktail sauce, just simply an Oyster with a tiny lemon. I asked for sauce to put on mine, when I recvd that, it had hot sauce flavor, not horseradish. Two of us ordered their "Special" on the menu, Fish Tacos which featured Halibut with Mango sauce. - Do yourself a favor & do Not order! It came with 3 corn tortilla filled tacos, tortilla chips: No Mango sauce on taco, Halibut was wayy overcooked, Taco was Dry! Tortilla chips came with Dry pico de gallo, no juice & was obviously day old, uncovered in refrig. The lime served on side for taco was also Dry & not ANY juice squirted out!! Our friend ordered the Cauliflower crust Pepperoni pizza...the crust was Blackened! We 3 never complain or send back food orders!! However; we did complain about the above food order, we never got an apology, just was offered a new lime that did have juice. Never offered another reorder, when it was obvious the Halibut was Rubber!! I asked for salsa for my tortilla chips as the pico cup was bone dry, the waitress went back to the kitchen stating they do Not have any salsa. Whaaat? What restaraunt serves chips & no salsa? In Final Review: Customer Service to make overcooked Halibut, Dry condiments, half filled Martini's, confusing Happy Hour pricing, no apologies or, "would you like a reorder" to make it right. No, she just said: "come back & try our fish & chips", they're Really good". I thot to myself: you said that about the Fish Tacos.... Absolutely NOT! Definitely NOT coming back, spend another $65.00 (minus tip) on overcooked, dry food. NO recommendations here. UPDATE: Mgmt read my review, corresponded with me via email. I was mailed a Gift Card and asked to come back and give them another try. I felt respected and will certainly do this, as soon as the COVID-19 quarantine is over, due to our work place had a visitor test positive, we're quarantined at home. Meantime, Thank-You to the Mgmt for stepping up!! I will add 2 Stars to my review for their effort. read more

Been here multiple times. I like this place but when it gets busy the waitress simply spends her precious time apologizing for why the food is 30-40 minutes late. The management needs to stabilize the kitchen or it will implode which is sad because few restaurants around here succeed and this one can. read more

My experience here was utterly terrible for a restaurant and I will not be coming back or recommending this place to anyone! The Bar table I had sat at was dirty still and had crumbs and was also sticky. The beer here was sub-par for a brewery. The food I had was gross and slightly burnt. The male manager didn't do anything about it when he asked how my food was either, he just seemed to not care about my experience or my food problems. We Went here for lunch on Friday afternoon after arriving in Eden Idaho traveling from Utah. The brewery isn't functioning yet, unfortunately, but the menu is varied and reasonably priced. I had the "ribs and rings" and they were some of the best ribs I've had. They had a very good variety of beer. But the main reason for this review was the service. Maricella was terrific. Food was @3 1/2 star but service, by Morgan, was more of a 1 1/2-2 thus, the 2 given. Our party of four ordered oysters as an app (excellent); however, those & the veggie pizza (just fair) both arrived at the same time as our entrees. When I asked for a share plate to share my cobb salad (very good) w/ my daughter, Morgan brought the plate back along w/ dropping the dessert menu! She said, "So you can plan ahead & save room!" We had barely started eating our now "one course" meal of apps & dinner! Then, she returned shortly thereafter, & while I was clearly eating my food, she started clearing other plates & asked if she could get us dessert. It was at that point that I lost my cool. I'm a server myself, & this is the basic 101 for a server, that is, pace & timing. It was faster than eating in a diner! We were out the door in 1 hr 15 mins. It would have been less time but Morgan stayed away from our table for a bit after I snapped at her. Guests who arrived before us at nearby tables, who had other servers, were getting their dinners when we were done & leaving. Lots of young kids working here. Didn't see a mgr, but would recommend better training of wait staff. read more

If you're thinking of coming here I'd think again. I've been in three times and have never been impressed by the food, drinks, or service but my experience yesterday absolutely topped it off. Our server was a sweet gal but it was the manager, Esmerleda, who really ruined our experience. Came in for a girls brunch and started with bottomless mimosas. We were still waiting for some girls to join us before we ordered and she came over to tell us we had to order food for the bottomless mimosas (which no where on the menu was that advertised) otherwise we couldn't have any more. Once everyone arrived we ordered brunch, almost all of us ordered or own plates aside from a couple. Esmerleda again returned to tell us that we each had to order our own food and to order more after everyone was already done and full. The best part of the whole thing is how uneducated the staff is. Brunch menu stated that it goes until 2 and when trying to get another round of mimosas before 2 we were rudely told that it stops at 1:30. When asking the manager which it was she told us she doesn't know but it doesn't matter since it was then after 2 and rolled her eyes and walked away. Even after such a horrible experience our check included an auto gratuity for a party of 7 which again was not advertised anywhere and seemed strange since it was not a large party. I will definitely not be wasting anymore of my money at this place to be treated as if I am a burden for being in their establishment. Horrible customer service. read more

Second time we have been here. First time was for a late lunch early dinner. Husband had regular burger with chips, would have been nice to have a salad as a side. I had the the vegi burger was very good though the bread (focaccia) needed to be toasted more. The bottom part of the bread was too doughy. Second time was for dinner. Husband had the fish & chips and I had the margarita pizza. The pizza was good though a bit more oregano in the sauce would be good. The fish my husband was over cooked. He did finish it and told our waitress she told the manager and we were compensated for it. Had the chocolate caramel cake for dessert, was very good and not vet sweet was which is a good change. Was disappointed that the vegi burger was not an option for dinner. Need a variety of vegetarian dishes for both lunch and dinner. Over all a new restaurant for Twin Falls that is good just still working on minor changes. Good to see they are finally starting to brew their beer. Looking forward to trying it. read more

My fourth visit and disappointed in management. A few days previous, a friend and I had dinner here and the waitress talked up their Happy Hour and 1/2 price well drinks. We each had a drink with dinner and I paid the bill after dinner without looking too closely at the bill. When I got home I noticed that either their drinks are extremely high priced or we paid full price. I asked today at my lunch and found that we had indeed been charged full price instead of the 1/2 off (I had the receipt with me). The waitress was extremely kind and stated her manager would make it right with us. After our lunch today, the waitress was embarrassed to tell us when she brought the check that the manager had now said that since it was not brought to her attention on the day that it happened, there was simply nothing she could do about it. Also to note, they charge extra if you have your drink blended or have it on the rocks. Ice must be very expensive there. It's not a bargain place to eat, but the food and atmosphere is great. Just disappointed that they didn't really care that a repeat customer was overcharged. read more
