Milos is so knowledgeable, helpful, fun and kind. Their knowledge of snowboards is exceptional and since I have none was in great hands. First to went to a different store, no need to mention name. but basically a saleperson with limited knowledge and had a completely different experience at Milos.Bought an entire package board, bindings, boots and a travel bag and they gave me two tshirts for free. They also have some great clothes, snow gear and bought two really cute Columbia womens fleece pullovers. Went back to have snowboard waxed and first one is free how cool is that! I just bought $330 boots. The next day when I used them, the boa system locked up on me and it was extremely hard to take off my boot. Went in the next day. Was helped by Jason the day before. More people should know this store! Great customer service and vibe! This is a nice and small local snow and skate store in the town. We came from Davis and did quite a lot of research before deciding to stop by here. Although the store was packed on the day we went to rent the snowboard gears but the staffs were patient and friendly. Also, you can't beat the snowboard rental price in the area. It's only 25!! I've been to quite a few local board shops and I have to say Milo is one of my favorites. The staff members that I've talked to (Jason and Levi) are really knowledgeable about the gear that they have and really go out of their way if you have a certain need, request or question. I was looking into a new snowboard for next season and was really pleased at the fact that they have a preorder system as well as some bindings that at 99% of retailers are sold out. Really makes getting my hands on certain gear pieces a lot easier. They also have some rad unique hydroflasks in for a limited time. Somehow they always have what you are looking for in terms of snow sports... they always do a good job on waxing my skies.

First time here due to receiving a gift certificate and was sure glad we got one as I was blown away at how nice clean And friendly of a skate/snow shop this was and yet I've never been in yet. The prices we marked fair as well unlike some small shops that tend to mark up. This shop Was priced just right if not better than the mall. They had a Nice variety of shoes carrying many popular name brands. A clearance rack (my favorite) and of course the very affordable build a board where they assemble for you. No need to head down the hill everything we needed was right there and plenty of parking in back too. The friendly staff was simply a bonus and they offer a rewards program where we already earned $7 bucks back after our first visit. read more

I give them a 5 star because they deserve it, but I do appreciate the stores on our area that allow citizens to be at choice around their health decisions. Milo auburn is the ONLY snow and skate location to stop at. I use to shop there when they were located in Lafayette and now it's easy to get to when I head to Tahoe this winter. I stopped by on the opening around the 4th of July and the staff was friendly as always. They had a great selection of skateboard gear and I even picked up a new deck. We've always done our best to support Milo and today's shopping experience proved why. My son received a $50 gift certificate for Christmas and wanted a new skateboard helmet. Milosport is a skate and snowboard shop for people who skate and snowboard! I have been shopping here since they opened their first Northern California store in Lafayette in the late 90's and although I moved to Colorado in 2003, I make a stop back there on my way home from the airport every Christmas (before I go home!)! Jason and George and rest of the staff knows their stuff! They have an awesome selection for men, women and kiddos -- and their snowboard and skateboard collection has something for everyone! Personally, I bought my first and second snowboards there, my first car had a pink "milo" sticker on it, I get set up my dad with a board wax in just a phone call, I can order anything to be shipped out to CO (for my little dose of California love!), and they sell really cute women's stuff!! Great selection of guys and girls clothing, shoes & accessories with new stuff arriving daily. Huge skate wall. Jason educated me on the latest sunglass lens tech that Oakley has developed. Picked up a pair of sunglasses, several shirts and they hooked me up with some free Milo stickers. Great shop for the town of Auburn. I was really sad when boards in motion closed in Auburn but now I don't care because Milo is open. They have a really cool selection of clothing in a really good variety of brands from shoes to sunglasses to T-shirts and a ton of women's stuff too.
